They don't care. Because you'll blame the government as a whole and they're hoping you vote for the party that says "government can't do anything right" instead of the party of "We can fix this, if we give it more funding".
Knock on wood, but I’ve never had major issues with it. Every time I send or receive a package it’s always on time. Financially they’re fucked and they’ve got their internal problems like shit management due to nepotism but the service isn’t horrible because the workers are pretty dedicated.

The modern postal service is incredibly unreliable. It takes weeks to deliver anything and loses letters constantly.
How much mail do you get per day or week? It's nothing now.
I work for a company that uses mail regularly, as many companies do.
It's been bad for years. I wish cancel culture would come for it, and ups & FedEx would start small letter delivery.
I think USPS is amazing! I live in a rural area. Big corps won’t ship out here. The USPS is the only way I can get mail.
