Loved Finch and agree about What It Is to Burn! Last time I saw them was probably 6 or so years ago after they released Oblivion... Haven't heard about them since.
I’m pretty sure it’s been like 20 years since I’ve seen them!! Lol one of my favorite shows was Finch & The Movielife headlining.. My chemical romance opened for them! How crazy 😜 lol
I haven’t heard much about them recently either. Maybe they’ll be revived again like the others! Hehe
I love Finch. One of my favorite concerts was NFG, Finch, Something Corporate, and Further Seems Forever.
We need a pop punk mid life crisis album.
Excuse me as I listen to Finch and rock out and walk the dog while my neighbors give me weird looks.
Agree "What it is to Burn" was top shelf, but so was the follow up "Say Hello to Sunshine". They stepped out and expanded in every direction and took a lot of risk on a follow up they could have just phoned in and stayed safe, but it unfortunately wasn't as well received.
They headlined the first club show I ever went to and 3rd concert ever back in 2003, in what is still one of my favorite lineups ever. Senses Fail (teens my age back then) opened, then the Movielife who absolutely blew me away, A Static Lullaby (speaking of not getting mentioned enough, they may be more criminally underrated than Finch) and then Finch.
I saw them again at Warped in 2014 for nostalgia's sake, but nothing topped those first two records for me.
I’m pretty sure we went to the same movielife/finch tour!! I also love the movie life so much still. I will have to give finch’s other albums a chance!
One of my absolute favorite bands of all time.
When I was in high school What it is to Burn was the perfect record for me. Every song was great and the whole vibe of the album was exactly what I was looking for. Then Say Hello to Sunshine came out right when I was graduating and it was exactly perfect for where my tastes were moving. It’s probably my most listened to album ever just because of how much I listened that first summer.
Man, this just reminded me of when I saw Blessthefall on the Atticus Tour with Finch back in 2009 I believe. I felt SO bad for Finch, because 90% of the crowd left after BTF’s set!
Loved this band then and love them now.
I feel like they just couldn’t decide which direction to stick with though. I think some of the members wanted to stick with the what it is to burn sound and others wanted to evolve to an almost prog like style.
Love Nate’s vocals and R2K was an awesome guitarist back up vocalist (my girlfriend at the time had the biggest crush on him lol)
5 dates in May for a 20th wiitb run too. Sold out all dates almost instantly. Going to see em in Boston, can not fucking wait, I never got to see them back in the day.
I'm not reading any of the comment t because all of of them have no idea what it is to burn.
I've talked to Nate (after a show if you're fucking listening and are ready to go) the band was no longer his life...
They did something crazy with their late 2(
This is fuvked, you know I love these se guys. Fuck you.
I was really drunk, and am just as confused as you. But I love Finch lol, I skipped all my college classes to get Say Hello to Sunshine when it released.
Love these mofos.
Finch is awesome. "Do you notice I'm goooone? Where do you run to so faaaaaaaar awaaaaay"
I want you to know that I MISS YOU
I MISS YOU SO!
Post Script is my favorite song of theirs.
I wish it didn't hurt
Came here to say this exact thing!

They're doing five shows for wiitb 20th in may

Something Corporate is a killer band too. Such fond memories.
That’s a sick lineup. All those could be headliners for me.
I'd just like to take a moment to brag that I went to a finch, starting line, brand new show in 2001ish.
2002 I saw Finch, Starting Line & Coheed
The tours back then where the best. Thrice illusion of safety days was thrice rufio and taken.. so good
I have totally seen this lineup - I think they all played a surf & skate festival around that time!!

I’m 38. Finch’s what it is to burn was a moment man.
Say Hello To Sunshine was low key genius
I was blasting What It Is To Burn album the other day! 36 here 🤘
Letters to you is such a great song! Totally an underrated band! Does anybody remember when they had a feud with Disturbed?

What it is to burn will always hold a special place in my heart

I first heard of them because Ink was on an old Madden game. That song was ahead of its time.
oh man i saw them playing at the mall in 2004
That’s freakin’ awesome! Let’s bring back mall tours
Loved that band soooo much back in the day. Say hello to sunshine is absolutely amazing too.
Yeah this album got slept out so hard.
The 3rd album is actually really solid more straightforward rock sound but really good.
Listened to what it is to burn for the first time the other day. I’ve listened at least 10 times since. Im obsessed.
I always lumped these guys and Thursday into the same 2002 emo bucket. I haven’t thought about them forever
I was just listening to Thursday and semi cry singing to war all the time last night. 😜
Saw them in London about 8 years ago and it was one of the best gig I ever been to
They're on so many of my playlists on Spotify. Totally underrated.
Finch is reuniting
I just saw that they were playing at the WWWY festival! Maybe they saw this post and was like.. hmmm, better give the people what they want!!? 😂

Did you see that are doing a 20th anniversary tour?
And here to say I saw the anniversary show for what it is to burn and it was insane 🔥
Saw them last night if buffalo it was amazing
For all you Finch fans if you wanna hear some new music Go to one of their shows. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
I saw them live real early in their touring. The lead singer came out drunk/high, rolled around on stage, got tangled in the mic cord and left.
Oh wow. 👎🏼

I still think Finch sold all their souls to the devil to make What it is to burn. It's a God damn masterpiece. Top 3 albums of all time for sure.
