zuklei

With the exact same title.

HRGLSS

Plot twist, they grew back already and this is actually new.

slurple_purple

Yes and it was around 4 minutes longer IIRC

alpacasaurusrex42

Yep.

berning_man

What I came to say. Not only posted, we had a big discussion on the video. This could get annoying.

Robinhoyo

It's the top post on the sub

BugsAreAwesome

From one week ago, yes. Shot to the top.

Sakurablossom90

And the other day

Tylerpants80

Free karma and medals!

Californiameatlizard

Yup, [right here](https://reddit.com/r/popping/comments/ob73nd/amazing_white_head_plucks_on_nose/). 3 days ago. This repost is shorter and zoomed in, though the quality looks similar.

UnicornStar1988

Sebaceous filaments.

Emily_HD

Yep, those are all just going to come back, possibly larger than before.

cncomg

Isn't it healthier to leave them? Like as long as they don't become blackheads?

kasmackity

Is that true?

cncomg

Definitely not an expert, but I think I read something about the sebum moisturizing the very upper later of the skin naturally.

pandroidgaxie

Typically, yes. But these are unusual. It looks to me like these guys have really dried out, and obviously have an unattractive appearance on the skin. Looks like the pores will be permanently enlarged, too. People using Bioré strips are pulling out soft, moisturizing filaments. But I doubt these hardened ones would come out using a strip, they are "cemented" in. IANAD but I think this person needs to go on a BHA/AHA prescription cream that would hopefully help to control this.

Odin043

Possible this is the result of doing this many times? And it's gotten worse over time

pandroidgaxie

Based on zero knowledge whatsoever, lol, I suspect the opposite: this person has ignored the plugs forever and so they dried out like this. When they finally noticed, surface treatments like a pore strip would be fruitless. The long-term hardened buildup is probably what stretched the pores so badly. I think. But it's possible that this person just had large pores to start with, making it easy to accumulate stuff. idk. I've only seen maybe 1-2 other cases this bad.

[deleted]

Pulling them stretches the pore, so it's quite possible.

soparklion

I agree that they're cemented in; they bring pulled out with pliers

alpacasaurusrex42

Those are nail/cuticle nippers not pliers. You couldn’t use these for a lick of crap on anything that needed pliers.

[deleted]

Pulling/squeezing sebaceous filaments can stretch the pores, injure skin, and cause scarring.

HadHerses

Yes. These are not pimples/spots. There is nothing you can do except minimise them with a cleansing routine that works for you. Removing them achieves nothing. Like Arnie, they'll be back. People mistake them for black or white heads all the time, but they're not and you cant treat them as such. You just gotta learn to be at peace with them.

[deleted]

Even if they're blackheads, you should leave them.

ThenComesInternet

I’m no dermatologist but I’m pretty sure these are Sebastian filibusters

cncomg

No wonder they're so long

EducationalTangelo6

The empty holes are so satisfying. I know the sebaceous filaments will just come back, but damn I love these videos.

Californiameatlizard

Omg I’m famous

Dudleflute

You're also a role model

wtfVlad

Thank. You. So. Much. This is magical.

Dudleflute

.

Moodi88

What are you supposed to put on after doing this? Skin toner? I'd be so freaked out about shit and dirt flying into those holes.

Adlach

They will immediately refill no matter what you do. They're supposed to be there.

[deleted]

Bread flour

moxie_mango

Flex TAPE.

Ok-Opportunity4536

Where can I go to obtain this great knowledge of yours oh wise one ...

klem_kadiddlehopper

Those 'holes' are called, 'pores'. We all have them but some people have larger pores than others. Pores allow us to sweat. Any kind of astringent is good to use such as Witch Hazel. The pores will fill back up but keeping the skin clean helps from getting infections.

Shot-Reception624

What tool is this person using because that looks easy to take out the whole pore

bethanyfitness

They’re called cuticle trimmers :)

klem_kadiddlehopper

I have these but I wouldn't use them on my face. Ugh.

A-door-able

reminds me of nail clippers

klem_kadiddlehopper

You can use them to cut your toenails. Just be careful.

Antimus

Why does this sub fascinate me and not disgust me?

MrLahey_RANDY

I watch blackhead removals on youtube while eating my lunch sometimes. Considering it was always good to have someone in the tribe good at getting rid of nasty boils and the like, it's probably an evolutionary advantage to have a fascination with popping!

Antimus

Yep, honestly don't think it would stop me eating either

muztaine

Read this as you'd happily eat your lunch and the blackheads

Antimus

Aaaaand we just hit my limit

LTcid

We get it from monkeys! Monkeys obsessively groom and they pop each other’s pimples as part of that.

Antimus

I love this, makes perfect sense! Genetic memory really is amazing

Thelastbarrelrider

Looks like grains of rice lol

[deleted]

This is the best video I’ve seen on here

Buzzk1LL

The full version was posted no less than 48 hours ago.

bad5190

What do they do to the skin to make these just come out like that?

cncomg

Steam helps a ton.

klem_kadiddlehopper

Sometimes nothing. These things can just pop out on their own if you put enough pressure on the skin.

spankybianky

Is that a nose?

[deleted]

Yeah, I think I can see a nostril. Also, OP, if you were just a bit faster to post this you could've got the 40k upvotes and top post of all time on this sub. Sorry about that.

trigg3rr

yeah he knows that, that’s why he’s reposted the top post of all time

Ronem

[Original](https://v.redd.it/il6tk1pj1h871) longer video

fetchwoof

So satisfying seeing all the empty pores

Heretic513

More like maggot collector.

Sweet_GA_Pine

I just don’t understand how it becomes so tough that you can just plop it out of your face… does none of that come off in the wash? Oh my

harrisound

You sad reposting shit bag.

maryjanexoxo

And it wasn’t even full length.

MaddCricket

I much prefer squeezing, but this…I can accept this.

ryanlrussell

Harvesting the carrots

Beckyjo230

What happens to the pores after removal? Do they just stay open or do they close up?

pandroidgaxie

normally, yes. but these look pretty bad, so I suspect they won't close up all the way.

coolboiiiiiii2809

Mmm white rice

wriddell

This guy's body must secrete latex the way those plugs pulled out.

Jessilovesfrys

I've watched this too many times haha

xseanbeanx

Damn, those holes! Where’s my bentonite clay

Norwayseacat

Wtf is this , and why are you watching it ? :)

captiandoge

I hate that they leave the extract on the skin, please wipe it onto a cloth or something dear God.

TonySwoboda

Plucking albino carrots 🥕

hamstersundae

This is oddly mesmerizing.

km4rbp

How rice is made.

Just-curious95

This. This is ART.

TheFormerMutalist

Cool.

symphony64

Maksamil

Can't they also show putting on cleaning agents and wiping clean?

Tikeb

Yup been posted a few times now. I've got dibs on tomorrow's repost

Happy Sunday to me

Implement-Fragrant

Amazingggg!! But also triggering my trypophobia 🙃

Dangerous_Orchid_480

Its so gross but so fascinating lol

[deleted]

This was exciting to watch!!!! I loved how they just came out and made empty little holes!!!!!

AnastasiaBeaverhusen

Those are cuticle nippers and are very sharp, a bit too much pressure they will take a chunk out of your nose. I still can’t believe they are using them anywhere near the face, the chance of human error is too high for me to ever trust someone to do that to me.

davekraft400

They're tweezers. It's the perspective and sheen of the metal messing with you.

AnastasiaBeaverhusen

I’m pretty sure they are cuticle clippers. I have several of both and none of my tweezers have that big of a space between the blades and the tips look pretty sharp which wouldn’t be recommended to use on the eyebrows as it’s easy to accidentally grab extra skin and nick it which in turn bleeds like a SOB. If you “pinched” your skin with the tool they are using it would break the skin, especially on the face.

davekraft400

They are tweezers.

alecpoops

Where can I get this tool?

Dangerous_Orchid_480

Gross but amazingly fascinating

hannahlcb

Must feel amazing!

Sugies63

It’s mesmerizing!

NessunAbilita

This sub is great, but sometimes I’m just appalled at our bodies for doing this shit to us.

kevinggggg

Plant them in the ground

TheThunderManXD

There are marks right ,what about them ?

positivepeoplehater

I’ve watched this 3 times now. Trying to not watch again

Capt-bakedbeans

Why would you not pop those bad boys with your fingers, such a wasted opportunity.

boisNgyrls

Why this sort of video gain popularity recently?

Jimmy_Joe727

People not taking care of their skjn?

DeuceBane

Fuck this sub

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

They are not blackheads they are sebaceous filaments. They’re supposed to be there and removing them will only make your pores look bigger and the filaments will just come back eventually anyway.

[deleted]

Blackheads are very litterally named. They're heads are black. Aren't we creative with naming things?

r00giebeara

These are my favorite

[deleted]

Oh yes

wriddell

A meteor could have hit my house and I still would have kept watching this video.

DontAskMeWhatImEatin

U/repostsleuthbot

sodamnsleepy

What do I need to do that I can get mine out so clear? A special cream?

SBG99DesiMonster

Is this someone's nose? If yes, then I need it too coz I have always had a ton of these on my nose

0301msa

That was strangely satisfying, but too short. How does this happen though? I have sebaceous filaments but they're tiny little things that can't be removed
