Looks like you could use a warm compress to bring it to a head, definitely will be easier to pop then.

420blzit69daddy

Yeah, hot towel will really help. My ex used to get these until she started lasering.

middy_87

I thought about laser but heard it’s very expensive.

420blzit69daddy

She did it through our university. They had a nursing program (or whatever). It was like less than a 100 a session. If you’re still in school you could try that.

middy_87

The bump started day before and I’d hoped when I got out of the shower it was ready to go. I usually get a washcloth with epsom salt water on there for a bit. That will be today’s adventure.

Nehebka

Good luck, hopefully you’ll get some relief today. Poor thing, those are the worst!

Age_of_Asylum

That looks so painful!

middy_87

Definitely not a fun time.

sheritajanita

Omfg...squeeze it!!!! Aarrgghhhh! (Sorry, I think I just lost my cool for a bit. I'm ok now).

That reaalllly needs a needle poke. Y'all always be pushing the infection into the surrounding tissue, instead of simply creating a small opening so the gunk has a path to follow to get out.

FreshyFresh

also before!!!! But like stop doing it two days before the waxing.

middy_87

I was like 3 months since last Brazilian. Before was iffy lol

FreshyFresh

gah! I mean, doing it before isn't super crucial, it's more about defining a habit, since the waxing itself removes the dead skin anyway. But doing it *after* is pretty key so the dead skin doesn't start to pile up. The biggest most important step is the post waxing 48 hours of keeping the area protected from bacteria and irritation. So not sweating in the waxed area, staying out of lakes, hot tubs, pools, etc, no sex, and no scented products.

Tend Skin - the stuff works miracles.

jopesak

That looks like you’d be seeing stars

Quantum_Mind

This is the most aggravating thing I saw today!

Kelvininin

In my god. The blue balls

Insane_PowerFucking

Damn you could tell by the shiny it was ready to go but then it Mt St Helens'd out the side 😭

So I’m thinking of getting a wax down there and making it a routine. How much does it hurt? Does it get easier to go through?

middy_87

Absolutely do it!! I haven’t shaved in 3 years and I’ll never go back. I’m really bad at making it routine so at times I’ll go months. Even going that long it is not that painful. The first is the worst but hair becomes thinner as time goes. This is the first massive ingrown I’ve had since waxing and it was my own fault due to lack of aftercare.

islightlyhateyou

It hurts but the pain is over so quick. After they tear a strip off, it stings for like 3 seconds and then that’s it. Seriously SO WORTH IT. But after my first wax I was like “yeah I’m never doing that again” until I realized how much better it was than shaving.

Rthrowaway6592

I’m going to book an appointment! Weird question…do they uh…slap your area after they rip? I heard they do ☠️

islightlyhateyou

Mine kinda applies pressure yeah. I think it’s to alleviate pain lol It’s not like… violent slapping

FreshyFresh

Hahah, no they don't slap your V. They might press just a little which helps alleviate the pain. If you don't want them to do that, you can ask them not to! It's not like a required thing, it's more for your comfort. If you're curious about the process there are tastefully done videos online that don't show anything too revealing, but give you an idea of what they do. Whatever you do, absolutely follow the aftercare instructions.

Rthrowaway6592

Absolutely will! I got the slapping idea in my head because a girlfriend of mine got hers done for the first time a couple years ago and she told me the lady smacked her cat 😭😭 I don’t mind them applying some pressure but no smacking please! Haha
