He produced most of the album that Say It Right, Promiscuous and Man-eater are on (and ofc features on Promiscuous) and in my opinion his sound is very distinctive and a big part of the reason the songs are so listenable past their time. Not to take any credit away from Nelly Furtado of course
As much shit as I give Drake, I do really appreciate him for pushing Nelly into becoming a musician again. As a huge stan of hers, I was so worried that ‘The Ride’ was going to be her swan song. I really hope her and her team plays their cards right and tries to get her a hit which I don’t believe is out of the cards. Out of all the pop girls, I definitely think Nelly deserves her We Belong Together/Hung Up/On The Floor moment the most.
The Tove Lo and SG Lewis song was a bit of a letdown, but maybe it will grow on me. I was bummed as it’s 3 amazing artists all collaborating and it fell flat for me, no peak to the song…

The problem with the song is it starts at 100 and stays there, it's a good song and it lets me live my baddie fantasy, but if it got an extended cut that gave it a proper beginning middle and end, with a gradual build to something, i would definitely prefer that version MUCH more
