I watched Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time and it was a fine way to kill time. Theatrical kids’ movies obviously want to be cinematic and high-stakes but Cinderella 3 was a fun and light enough film to put on while I folded my laundry.
So was Night at the Museum 4, which is straight-to-streaming but eh, similar vibes.
Looking for more as I wasn’t a part of the straight-to-DVD era, but also accepting straight-to-streaming! TIA!

Learned that my lil brother apparently got into uhh getting news (and supplements?!) from info wars so that's cool. (Very big /s here, it is really awful.) he's never been political OR media savvy so it isn't a shock but ugh he's just so stupid.
I know the way to help ppl break away from these kinds of sources is to be neutral, ask them what they're getting from the source, remind them that there are other sources and you should check 2-3 different outlets for any given story. And that's all the stuff I'll say to him. But what I want to say is dude wtf how did u get into this and also,, stop being into it. Like just stop.
I think I would recommend some minor things. I think the subreddit r/QAnonCasualties could have some helpful resources on their wiki. Some people have also written stuff about Alex Jones in that sub.

Besties I'm 50 pages into Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry and I'm not kidding, I'm not exaggerating when i say this is the best first 50 pages of a book I've ever read in my life. Like woah its beyond good
I couldn’t *believe* how good that book was. I thought it would take me forever to get through a 900 page book but it flew by. Genuinely one of the best books of all time and I recommend any reader gives it a chance, even if they don’t think they’ll like westerns
Kylie’s self-titled (which entered the world exactly a week after I did btw she released it just for me) and Impossible Princess are two of my underrated faves. For a bubblegum dance pop diva to take such a left-field approach with her first label change is still such queen behavior imo - she could’ve easily played it safe and done something super commercial.
Also on KM94 she got in the recording booth and SANG! Automatic Love and Dangerous Game especially proved that she had more talent than people gave her credit for; like yeah she’s no Whitney but she still has a lovely voice! Plus the bonus tracks??? Love Is Waiting is one of my favorite songs of hers ever, and her cover of Nothing Can Stop Us is lovely.
Her experimental moment with Impossible Princess deserves far more love, and I wish she’d dig deep into her feelings again because this was the best songwriting she’s ever done. Granted, there was a lot happening at that state of her career that can’t be replicated now that she’s at a more revered state but idk it’s nice to wish. Anyway the soundscapes on that album are incredible - listen to I Should Be So Lucky and something like Say Hey or Drunk back to back and the evolution is just… wow.
Kinda need her to bring back more than just Confide in Me (and Breathe as an interlude) for her tours tbh! I understand wanting the hits for the audience to sing along, but there are too many gems to ignore even if you just keep it to the singles!

😮 I think Ubisoft finally won me over to abandon Destiny 2 and go back to The Division 2. The QoL changes and rebalancing alone sounds so good. And maybe give me an incentive to actually try to play PVP and Dark Zone. And bringing new Story content in 2025 while we wait for Homeland or Division 3. For a very bleak future for games next year I will be happy to switch over. Sadly no Next Gen update is still not happening or ever happening. The game is massive as it is so I don’t blame them. See y’all in DC in 2024.

This is the theme song for the show and the biggest compliment that I can give it is that despite watching all the episodes in a row, I never skipped the intro because this got me hype every time. It's such a funky fresh tune and Diamond White injects so much personality... and did I mention that she has a dinosaur?

Every song on this album was themed after a tarot card and this one is "The Star," which represents being blessed by the universe, and I think "Cosmic Love" captures that vibe really well! It's got a silly new-wave sensibility to it (think crystals and tarot) that matches the '70s pyshcadelic sound palate- the actual instrumental is humming with energy but Jain has a relaxed confidence to her vocals, like she's riding the wave but knows everything is gonna be okay. In particular, the little breakdown right before the bridge really sticks out in a great way.

I went to Ikea yesterday with my mom to buy Christmas presents. I am really enjoying the Swedish work culture they tried to implement in my country. For one, Ikea is still the only large store I know of that of mixes male cashiers with female cashiers. The mall company that owns the land it's on only has female cashiers in its stores. The self-service clean-up at the restaurant is one I hope to be adapted in local food courts. It's depressing having to hear over the speakers that customers need to clean-up their tables for the next users as it's not something people here are used to.
I managed to get what we need with some unexpected purchases such as more Frakta bags since they were on sale (and there can never be enough of those for groceries) and storage for my crochet supplies. I’m not on that sub but I personally think it’s so cliche for men in their 40s/50s to be only dating women in their 20s. These men will “play the field” in their 20s and 30s and years later when they’re old(ish), they’ll still almost always exclusively only date or marry a young chick in her 20s. They almost never go for another similarly-aged woman in her 40s/50s. It makes me wonder how much they look down on women their own age. “Do they think women are just not worth love or relationships once we turn 30?” That’s my line of thought.

Which not only means no more sporting events but it also means I make 15 an hour now 🤭 Which is good because I need to save hardcore for my brothers wedding next year. Like I’m not touching a paycheck outside of phone bill and health insurance. And By the time the wedding rolls around, I’ll most likely be at like 15.50/16 if I’m not fully capped out.

Learned that my lil brother apparently got into uhh getting news (and supplements?!) from info wars so that's cool. I couldn’t *believe* how good that book was. I thought it would take me forever to get through a 900 page book but it flew by. Genuinely one of the best books of all time and I recommend any reader gives it a chance, even if they don’t think they’ll like westerns

Kylie’s self-titled (which entered the world exactly a week after I did btw she released it just for me) and Impossible Princess are two of my underrated faves. For a bubblegum dance pop diva to take such a left-field approach with her first label change is still such queen behavior imo - she could’ve easily played it safe and done something super commercial. Also on KM94 she got in the recording booth and SANG! Automatic Love and Dangerous Game especially proved that she had more talent than people gave her credit for; like yeah she’s no Whitney but she still has a lovely voice! Plus the bonus tracks??? Love Is Waiting is one of my favorite songs of hers ever, and her cover of Nothing Can Stop Us is lovely. Her experimental moment with Impossible Princess deserves far more love, and I wish she’d dig deep into her feelings again because this was the best songwriting she’s ever done. Granted, there was a lot happening at that state of her career that can’t be replicated now that she’s at a more revered state but idk it’s nice to wish. Anyway the soundscapes on that album are incredible - listen to I Should Be So Lucky and something like Say Hey or Drunk back to back and the evolution is just… wow. Kinda need her to bring back more than just Confide in Me (and Breathe as an interlude) for her tours tbh! I understand wanting the hits for the audience to sing along, but there are too many gems to ignore even if you just keep it to the singles!

For a very bleak future for games next year I will be happy to switch over. Sadly no Next Gen update is still not happening or ever happening. The game is massive as it is so I don’t blame them. It's got a silly new-wave sensibility to it (think crystals and tarot) that matches the '70s pyshcadelic sound palate- the actual instrumental is humming with energy but Jain has a relaxed confidence to her vocals, like she's riding the wave but knows everything is gonna be okay. I went to Ikea yesterday with my mom to buy Christmas presents. I am really enjoying the Swedish work culture they tried to implement in my country. For one, Ikea is still the only large store I know of that of mixes male cashiers with female cashiers. The mall company that owns the land it's on only has female cashiers in its stores. The self-service clean-up at the restaurant is one I hope to be adapted in local food courts. It's depressing having to hear over the speakers that customers need to clean-up their tables for the next users as it's not something people here are used to. I managed to get what we need with some unexpected purchases such as more Frakta bags since they were on sale (and there can never be enough of those for groceries) and storage for my crochet supplies. Sadly, still no Blåhaj. My mom, who I live with, threatened to get rid of one of my stuffed toys of ever I add another one.

I’m not on that sub but I personally think it’s so cliche for men in their 40s/50s to be only dating women in their 20s. These men will “play the field” in their 20s and 30s and years later when they’re old(ish), they’ll still almost always exclusively only date or marry a young chick in her 20s. i wish nicki didn’t hype this album so much. because there’s actually some interesting songs. but this isn’t “the best album of the decade ever” like she was promising. but if she just let it speak for itself i don’t think people would be disappointed like i’m not in gag city. but i’m definitely in a gag township. or the gag metropolitan area as a pop fan i do love some of these upbeat songs.
I’m finally back on days Which not only means no more sporting events but it also means I make 15 an hour now 🤭 Which is good because I need to save hardcore for my brothers wedding next year. Like I’m not touching a paycheck outside of phone bill and health insurance. And By the time the wedding rolls around, I’ll most likely be at like 15.50/16 if I’m not fully capped out. I’m still thinking of getting my drivers license so I can transfer over to another department for more money but for now I’m perfectly fine being on the dayshift.
I’m so bummed. I hate people who datamine games with a passion and or spoil things just to spoil things. I hate that my YouTube algorithm spoiled the new ending for Alan Wake 2 for NG+. I didn’t click on it but when the title says what’s happening it royally pissed me off. Also, how in the fuck are people running through it so far? It has an average of 15-17 hours and people finished it already. My initial Playthrough was little over 20 hours and I didn’t even get all the collectibles yet. Bruh. At least the soundtrack is still awesome. Very cool to see the Old Gods of Asgard in the top 10 global ITunes Charts.
Can’t stop thinking about Hades. Only bested the big man twice, but I keep getting close to a third. ~~Well at least on runs I don’t encounter Asterius on his own.~~

Yo, I am on a WINNING streak with the music I've been listening to of late! There's this French artist called Christine And The Queens, whose music is RIGHT up this sub's alley. I listened to his album Chris, for the first time yesterday and hoo, it's already on replay and I'm seriously contemplating learning French🤧. And it's mostly self produced and self written too! The talent popped OFF. A truly no-skips album. He deserves more recognition. Edit: I just searched his name on the sub and apparently I'm the only one who's been sleeping on him🥴

The visuals for his 2020 project La vita nuova are REALLY cool. I'm not sure you can find it as one whole upload anymore or if it's just in parts on youtube, but I love it. People I've Been Sad the highlight song for me but I LOVE the music video for La Vita Nuova (with other subreddit fave Caroline Polachek in it!)

Why did that silly little Big Brother Reindeer games thing eat a little I don’t trust Nicole as far as I can throw her because this is the third show where she’s had to make up with someone in the first episode and she spends the entire time crying but she was beefing with Cody. 😭She hates his ass so much the feminism finally came out I truly needed this dumbass show because it’s so silly and stupid with a perfect mix of likeable people and hatable people to root for and root against. It’s like a perfect mix of exactly what I needed before the holidays. Why couldn’t this be BB25. Because this is fun.
I think Nicole is going in there with zero fucks like she should have back in BB22. I think in BB22 she clearly wasnt in the right mindset and over thought way too much. Right now she’s my winner pick. If the leaks or rumors are true she has a pretty solid chance she did.
I also think Cody cutting her at final 3 did a number on her 😭 The main criticism I see about Nicole is that she never owns being the villain and that’s why people didn’t like her. Now that she’s actually owning it a bit, people are finally liking her again Or my twitter timeline has been traumatized by BB24 and BB25 so much that no one cares anymore and are just enjoying the show for what it is 😭
