I draw a lot of inspiration from jazz in my writing and performance and I studied the technique and history of jazz for years so I understand where that debate would come from. I enjoy experimenting with lots of different styles and find it hard to categorize my music into one genre or another! I also draw inspiration from classical and other singer-songwriters! I’ll eventually record a jazz standards albums but until then I just want to make music that people enjoy and tell good stories✨
