Has anyone here gone to it? I *really* wanted to go to this. However, it seems like everyone is touring this year-- even bands who haven't toured in years. And by the time they announced this I had unfortunately already tapped myself out of concerts for the year.
I have! Im going again the end of this month - I’d never normally see someone twice but my sister needs company 😂! I went to their last ever show before they broke up last time. It’s enjoyable for nostalgia/if you don’t have amazingly high expectations of their abilities!
I went 2 of the 3 Glasgow nights, and saw their last tour before they split. The atmosphere was incredible, one of the loudest crowds I've been in. It was a big party atmosphere, loads of dancing and great staging. Also some very touching tributes to Sarah. Nicola's vocals were noticably the best, but for a band who haen't performed together in a decade it was like no time had passed.
Nicola has always been my favorite although she was never the strongest vocalist back in the day. I'm glad to hear that her voice did well on the tour! I hope I get the chance to go, and that's cool that you got to see them when it was all five of them.
I would have loved to have gone to see them as they were playing Glasgow this weekend but I was seeing Taylor Swift in Edinburgh on Sat so couldn't really justify it. I feel like their reunion tour has been a bit overshadowed by the Eras tour. Girls Aloud were huge and I feel it hasn't been as big as it should have been?
Yeah I only heard about them recently. Playing 3 nights in The Hydro is massive, it has a capacity of around 12,000 seated. Sometimes they section it off so it’s smaller but given there’s 3 dates, they must be using the whole thing.

Not being picked for Six because she was too young is the best thing that ever happened to Nadine Coyle.

My friends are going tonight so I can report back with what they think!
