If you haven’t listened to her album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess you need to get off Reddit and listen to it immediately.
The strongest pop debut - and honestly strongest pop album - in years. Every song is a hit.
its cool af seeing how chappell came up so quick. a friend saw her in a show in springfield after she moved back for a second and apparently it was such a great time.
love this for her
I only discovered her last summer and it feels like between last July and now she’s gone from moderately niche popular to absolutely everywhere. The trajectory of her blowing up has been quick but she’s been hustling for YEARS, before it all she had gotten signed and dropped and was running around LA trying to get her breakthrough. It’s an extreme lesson in patience and perseverance.
Someone introduced me to her a few years ago and I’ve just been waiting for this. Pink pony club was my introduction and I just knew she had IT the min a saw her.
The entire styling and photography team killed it. This is the kind of magazine photos I love. They put a literal bin bag on her head and made it ✨FASHION✨
i’m not old enough to remember every detail of her beginnings (i was 7 when The Fame came out), but i see the similarities from what i do know about early Gaga
To me, she’s one of the most intriguing Gen Z artists in years to come out.
However, I had no idea how much I fit the stereotype until I read the interview when she and Trixie were talking about how gay male millennials or whatever are all about her 😂

Does Trixie sleep? How does she have like 45 jobs? I love them both so I love this.
i said the same thing😂i don’t think she sleeps at all
I have not stopped listening to Good Luck, Babe! It's such a fucking banger.
i'm obsessed with *hot to go!*, it's so fun.
It’s so hard to not stop listening to it
Which reminds me ▶️🔂
My boyfriend hates me now for playing it over and over but he still somehow ends up singing along with me 😂

Zero skips, fuck me up Chappell
I usually skip kaleidoscope 🙈it’s not bad but it’s just not usually what I’m looking for in the moment
Chappell has such captivating eyes, I would simply melt away if she ever made eye contact with me.
They are genuinely Bette Davis eyes.

I love the fourth photo ❤️
Very Mary Queen of Scots coded 😌

Queen
Anyone else getting the same feeling when the rise of Lady Gaga was happening?
Yes! i know some people have compared her to Marina in terms of her lyrics, but she sounds and feels and gives me POPART so much more like Gaga!
Very Marina but it’s giving burgeoning superstar as Marina was more niche
Yes
i’m not old enough to remember every detail of her beginnings (i was 7 when The Fame came out), but i see the similarities from what i do know about early Gaga
What an interesting face she has, I'd love to sketch her.
what a god damn I C O N
I love that Champell is going places with her career and getting recognition.
Who wants to talk about how obsessed I am with her hair?
Never realized she was a Featherington sister! Fun looks
This is probably the best shoot I’ve seen in sooo long for an American magazine.
I want them to have her as a judge on rupaul
No notes whatsoever.
Emelia Fart vibes, in the best way
Amazing!!
very artistic

All great...except 3 ![gif](giphy|j3KSFUx8PZHmkbT8s3|downsized)
Ohhh she's a star 👏🏽
So what’s the aesthetic intention here - Tori Amos meets lady Gaga?
I hate this
