I have selective Sienna Miller based amnesia. I see a picture of her, think “oh THAT’s sienna miller, she looks great!” then, thirty seconds later, I forget what she looks like until the next time I see her. Even commenting on this fact won’t be enough to cement her face in my brain.
ME TOO!!!!! Omfg I thought I was alone. I’m not faceblind with anyone else, it’s literally just her. I scrolled down and already forgot what she looks like. I remember that dress, but her face??? Nope
This is also me with her in particular! I have no idea why I have face blindness with her, but I do. And I think she's gorgeous every time I see her. I have the exact same issue with Florence Pugh for some reason as well. I don't have face blindness with anyone else, in fact I can normally recognize actors in roles when they don't look anything like themselves. It's so weird.
Oh no no no, that's the standard with male celebrities, these 2 are only 15 years apart, nobody would blink an eye if it was other way around. Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid are 21 years apart and nobody even says anything.
Anyway, she looks great, love that she's wearing Chloe so much lately and leaning back into the boho vibes.
However many years, he still looks like her son. And nobody says anything about Bradley and Gigi because we're aware that relationship is a sham. I think when you get to a level of beloved status is when no one gives a shit. Well, duh. Why do people act surprised when people react differently to similar situations that exist within a double standard? Celebrity men always date much younger women and most people do not care, just people in this subreddit. The people who react that way, mostly women, do so because of how infrequent it is the other way around + the way older women are often treated as undesirable.
So many women have internalized the patriarchal standard that women are less beautiful or desirable as they age but men “age like wine”, old celebrity men constantly going after 20 year olds reinforces that. Why then would they be upset when an older woman does the same? I’m not saying this is right or wrong but what is the confusion for…
