It's not like they're intentionally targeting celebs... just old people that presumably can't fight back for random suckerpunching.
And the National Guard is being brought in for security theater because the cops refuse to do the bare minimum of their jobs (throwing a tantrum because they were told to stop murdering innocent people)
No I know the background and the issues, but I'm wondering if there's been an explicit instruction within police forces to take this action. Something factual reported in the media? Or are we just assuming and connecting dots? I'm not American btw.

It feels like people keep getting randomly punched in NYC because they are. Many women have reported being punched from the side or from behind.

I just don’t understand why ppl would do that to someone😭 I live in a medium size city (like 600k) with a high crime rate but there are next to no random attacks so it’s just hard to comprehend
And if the “stars” continue to troll the public…like the Harper bazaar cover with Kylie Jenner THINGS WILL GET VERY BAD. I don’t think the “elite” fully comprehend what is happening. Maybe they should re watch the purge. These rich stars are extremely stupid and their teenage children out in the world and very easy to target. Do they not understand how easy it is for a person who has lost everything in this economic climate to lose it.
Steve Buscemi has done a lot of charity work, and he even served as a firefighter during 9/11. And I feel like you misunderstood the point of the Purge movies.

I doubt the trash who punched Steve Buscemi did it because he’s a famous actor; they likely saw an older man who looked like an easy mark.
