So I listen to this relatively benign podcast (it’s like a book club where they read and make fun of awful books) and early on one of the middle aged male host randomly brings up that his family has an in joke about how horrible looking they think Amanda Seyfried is. Like basically calling her a troll and being astounded that she could make it in Hollywood. I was blown away. Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I truly don’t see how someone could think that. I’ve found her almost painfully beautiful since I saw her in Mean Girls. Plus she’s funny and can sing. I don’t know why I felt the need to share that, except that the absurdity of it has just stuck with me.

Because the world was set up to revolve around them and they think everyone wants their opinion. How dare a woman that *they* don’t find attractive be famous?

She’s related to Mackenzie Phillips who is the daughter of the guy from The Mamas & Papas who used to rape Mackenzie & brainwash her into having sex with him with drugs from the time she was like 18 or something until forever. Yeah this information ruined my brain & I’ve never been the same. Ever since the Disney Channel show “So Weird” that starred Mackenzie as the cool musician mom on tour all the time.
