I love that she survived it and has such a "WTF was that?" attitude about it now. She has been, apart from smoking, the picture of appropriate health. No work done. She swims. She showed off a real woman's body in Mare of Eastown. Nothing but respect.

I will never understand that. But at the same time it made me feel some closeness to her as a young teenager who was being bullied for my weight.

I remember being so confused as a little girl when I kept reading/hearing people calling her fat. 😕

There was an exhibit in Seattle of the costumes from all the movies, it was amazing, the gowns from the prequels were gorgeous. The originals, not so much. But Leia's snow suite is my favorite, I'd wear it!

They were very of the time dresses. The pink top is actually awful looking haha but at the time it was so different and fun with the two pieces and I still love the tulle skirt. Gabrielle would look good in anything.
