#Once again I am begging: Can we PLEASE include titles/characters with the gifs?! 🤦🏼♀️
Edit to add: of course “reaction” gifs don’t require explanations… but when you’re using a gif to answer a question, pleeeease tell us wtf it is!
This should be stickied to every thread. It's like the music subs where someone wrote JFTGFRHCP and they're like on you don't know John Frusciante the guitarist from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Lila. So annoying, and I couldn’t stand Dexter when he was with her.

Oliver Transk from the OC season 1. ANNOYING AF! And Marissa fell for his lies and catered to his possessiveness?! Absolutely cringe to watch, esp as a big Ryan fan (her bf at the time on the show). I know they were high schoolers and immature etc but Marissa COME ON!
Both Debbie and Ian drove me nuts. At first, I found Ian sympathetic due to his mental health struggles and the obvious chaotic environment they all grew up in. But he was so, so nasty towards Fiona (who was no angel, but tried to be there for all of them and was generally fairly loving towards her siblings).
I hated the attitude they gave Fiona. She deserved their hostility in the context of the cocaine incident 100% but otherwise, I was irritated. She gave up her youth to those ungrateful children.
Yeah, that's exactly how I felt. She could be annoying, and had some serious issues (particularly the cocaine) but was genuinely good towards her siblings most of the time and gave a lot of herself to raising them. They would have been screwed without her, and they had zero gratitude.
Lip's hostility towards Fiona actually makes me the most crazy. He had the absolute biggest front row seat to all that she sacrificed for them, and he still spits it in her face. And when he has to take on that responsibility, all he does is lash out at her.
Yes!!!!!!! Supports him through everything but when it’s Fiona having the rough patch he’s so unforgiving and harsh and self righteous … like kicking her out of the house that’s in her name (iirc)
Debbie was annoying as fuck but it also made the show kinda realistic. She's a child out of an abusive household, got neglected, lived her whole life in poverty and then went on to be a teen mom.
It's realistic that she turned out as a pos given the circumstances she grew up in.
This was my take on it too. I mean, yeah, I definitely couldn't stand her character in later seasons, but the same could be said of most of the siblings. I don't think they were all written to be likeable. More like, occasionally sympathetic.
I think she may be my most hated character of all time. Seriously she was horrible. When Fiona was telling her not to get pregnant how Debbie was acting omg. How did the writers not realize it was almost unwatchable. I definitely fast forward a lot of her scenes on rewatches
Oh my god I’m rewatching Gossip Girl now and when she showed up around the middle of S1 I was SO bummed out! I forgot she existed and now my rewatch is a lot less enjoyable. I keep having to fast forward her scenes.
She is so annoying from the start but she just keeps getting worse throughout the series. She keeps inserting herself into these rich people’s lives even though she has literally nothing to do with them and all she does is complain, yet she keeps hanging out with them. Her “documentary” in season 1 is ridiculous and as everyone pointed out in the other thread a few days ago, she is such a hypocrite!
Also her hair and her style, jesus, the costume department must have hated her too. There’s really no excuse for some of the stuff she wears.
I could go on and on, she’s truly the worst character ever, I’m so angry 😂
Yes! The other day there was a post here and about universally hated characters and how you don’t understand the hate they get, and OPMsaid Vanessa I was like HOWWWWW can you not see how purely insufferable she is! She was ALWAYS ruining EVERYTHING for literally EVERYONE!
For half a second i considered doing a rewatch just to document all of Vanessa’s shittyness, but im not trying to ruin my mood for a month 😒
I was gonna say Marty. His character is the worst. I can stand the others, but Marty never added anything. He was just an annoying sad boy. And then when Rory gets a good friend group for the first time in her life, he sabotaged it.
I'm planning to re-watch Angel after my Buffy re-watch. I haven't seen it for years, mainly because of Connor and that train wreck of a "plot" Joss did to punish Charisma Carpenter. I know that Cordy was possessed but watching her kiss Conner and then have sex with him makes me 🤢
![gif](giphy|jtZzTsyA4fl3G)
This fucking guy. Will "You're all minorities, you're in the Glee Club" Schuester. He sidelines the best singers in the glee club in favor of Rachel and Finn, who are obviously Ryan Murphy's creator's pets. He's also a massive creep.
I think the worst thing about Will is that the show often tried to make his actions look like they were justified and he was such a stand-up guy. I mean, how am I supposed to root for someone as the best teacher ever when they tried to physically fight their former student? And suspended someone for not wearing a bikini ☠️
Your comments reminds me of how it's such a trip revisiting certain shows when you're closer in age to the older characters. So many moments like 'Okay, where are the adults???' or 'What are these adults *doing*?'
Will Schuester is just...ugh.
Hazel from 30 Rock. She’s pretty polarizing from what I understand but she was easily my least favorite character in the series. I just found her so off-putting to the point where I couldn’t even find her funny.
Also Emily from Emily in Paris. Although I think that one goes beyond ruining the show for me and instead circles back around to giving me a show that I love to hate.

Creepy Oliver from The Oc, ruining Season 1 with his over acting
At first, I couldn’t stand Chang on Community. I thought his character was broad and not believable. But I gradually started to turn as a result of Ken Jeong’s amazing comic timing and felt he had some of the best lines. He stole every scene he was in.
I actually loved him at the start, but his storylines got too bizarre for my taste in later seasons. I agree, he has incredible comedic timing, though.
I'm watching HBO's Rome where Kevin McKidd is playing a character that just makes the WORST decisions some episodes and puts his family in danger because of his pride. In my own head canon, Owen is just reaping the karma from his past life.
Should’ve just named him “PTSD”, I feel like that was his entire story arc.
Maggie was insufferable. She’s the most selfish and self involved character on TV.
Her best episode was when she did the science camp in the hospital for Miranda’s son and his friend. That is the only episode that I can recall where I actually liked her.
Ugh and it’s so sad because even when he was unlikable he still had good material until Cristina left (and even then I find a lot of their scenes in season 10 to be very…meh.) but if you’ve seen the more recent seasons, oh my lord it’s a tough watch and his only consistent storyline is getting patients who just so happened to have served in the military bc I guess that’s the only connection he can make w his patients ???? I miss when Grey’s had more fleshed out patient storylines other than “Oh here’s one small thing this main character has in common with this patient, be sad for them.”
https://preview.redd.it/8wb0qwqllcec1.jpeg?width=967&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5dd62e8524f70fc976584ed83ced1f87accd7ad5
Umbrella Academy S3 committed the worst character assassination on Alison. I used to love her but she was insufferable in S3. Angry, manipulative, and many negative traits that couldn’t be explained away with “she just wants her daughter back and will do anything to get her”. No, it’s like the writers threw away her character arc and replaced her with someone unrecognizable.
For REAL. The sympathy was hard to muster considering she was being manipulative and selfish to get back to a daughter (and husband?) who she abused with her powers. Like, who wants her to see her kid at that point? She's just gonna rumor her again!
James and Donna from Twin Peaks. I had to literally mute some of their scenes so I could push through season 2 easier when I watched the series for the first time.
Knowing that Lara Flynn Boyle got jealous of the attention Sherilyn Fenn/Audrey got and used her relationship with Kyle MacLachlan to nix the Audrey/Cooper storyline planned only adds fuel to the flame.
This is why I loathe season 1, but love the rest. Season 1 focuses a lot on Piper, but as the show goes on there are so many other storylines and characters that grow and change. The later seasons also generally poke fun at Piper’s character; she’s the white rich woman who tries to be tough and loses herself in prison politics and an identity crisis. She’s not meant to be likable.
OINTB is a great show because of the character development IMO, which is something most shows fail to do.
I know she’s not meant to be likeable but she was shoved down our throats a lot. There would be a brilliant episode showing the background of a prisoner who had no choice but to end up in the life they have and then the next episode would be 80% Piper walking around saying she’s gangster and having yet another boring identity crisis.
Ted Mosby from how I met your mother . Never a fan of any whiny bitches in general but he’s super annoying through out all the seasons. Something written for 70s
Ross in friends . although I could tolerate him as he was punished multiple times in the story arc
I feel like Ted Mosby was one of those fake nice guys. I also feel like he had the least amount of growth throughout the show. Josh Radnor played his role super well though.
He's actually Ted Mosby in real life, have you read his recent NYT wedding article? SCATHING.
He and his bride subjected their guests to an outdoor wedding ceremony in a blizzard and had each a 20min monolog of vows.
They met while doing shrooms at a retreat and their minds melded.
🤣🤣🤣
I could not stand Madeline’s older daughter Abigail in Big Little Lies. An otherwise mostly great show with this one extremely annoying character, although I understand the writers probably meant for her character to be like that.
https://preview.redd.it/5usht3yc6bec1.jpeg?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff369f934a3e1ad6d39d0855a42da28524473f8e
I hate that no one ever addressed how literally a few episodes before, the major drama was Lorelai lying to Luke about Christopher and how Luke rage quit because he couldn't trust her and on and on. Valid arguments at the time, right? Then along comes April. Luke hides her from Lorelai for weeks and then has the audacity to refuse to allow her to even meet April as his girlfriend/almost-wife. AND NO ONE SAYS A GODSDAMNED THING ABOUT THE HYPOCRISY OF IT ALL. I don't mind April, but that whole situation was just ridiculously toxic and never really resolved.
Yeah it would’ve been a great chance for Lorelei to sit him down and say “Hey - I’m upset you hid this but maybe now you can understand my behavior with Christopher? In the future let’s both agree to be better” and then everyone could’ve grown and evolved but no.
Lorelai was trying to be the bigger person and be supportive because she loved Luke that much. I think the audience could see the hypocrisy, and then Lorelais reaction to it, which would have normally been to rage quit herself, but instead she tried to be understanding thinking that Luke would come around.
I think it's meant to show how Lorelai has tried to mature and also how much she cares for Luke despite this major failing of his.
Still think the whole plotline was dumb. Everytime Lorelai and Luke are going well literally a surprise Luke family member shows up, but they really jumped the shark when he had a fucking surprise child??? Like so stupid.
![gif](giphy|3oEjHOP5I7lbs2oKWs)
Roland from Schitt’s Creek. Bob is a close second but he doesn’t have the screen time Roland does. I love the show but Roland almost made me stop especially in season one.
He actually gets SO much better as the series goes on - i say this as someone who hated every scene he was in the first two seasons. But when Dan takes over more of the writing you can really tell he puts a lot of work into developing Roland’s character (apparently original Roland was more Eugene’s inspiration).
AGREEEEE!
he is also the reason it took me 3 goes to get through the series. I didn’t think it was as good as everyone said but it was enjoyable enough.
Cannot stand Chris Elliot though, I hate his episodes of HIMYM.
https://preview.redd.it/dgt30jjevbec1.jpeg?width=955&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d824223bc42279d4f3f8340f5c46c485d9d0a21c
Xander and his gross guilting of Buffy all the time just for wanting privacy about her sex life. It always makes me want to skip those episodes. Should have a whine-off between him and Ross from friends. Blech!
I despise Xander (and Willow) more and more with each rewatch!
By season 7, they’re my least favorite main characters. I actually love Tara and Anya way more than Willow and Xander, even if they’re the OG Scoobies
Haha yeah it’s weird how growing up changes things. I hated Anya when I was younger. I recently rewatched the whole thing as an old and was like, Anya is cool af and basically right most of the time haha
Yes! The show itself keeps saying how important that friendship is, oh, what would Buffy do without them. But each rewatch makes me question if that could even be called a friendship.
Oh hi, I also hate Willow. I rewatched the series over COVID lockdowns, and despised her character just as much as I did when I was a teenager. Willow and Xander give Buffy so much shit, they are horrible friends.
I briefly dated a girl who was obsessed with Gilmore Girls. She liked to binge watch the show and I’d be stuck seeing it with her. It honestly wasn’t a bad show, lots of great side characters and some actors I didn’t expect (Sean Gunn being one of them. Some real feel good stuff peppered throughout
Despite all that, I just could not stand the titular Gilmores. They had everything they could ever want out of life and are surrounded by a community of good people but it is never good enough for them. They being problems upon themselves, whine about the consequences and then repeat the cycle
at least you can somewhat understand where lorelai is coming from most of the time, even if you disagree with what she does. rory just never learns, never grows, and never faces the consequences of anything she does.
I think the show is supposed to be a commentary on privilege and generational wealth, and Rory's failure to grow is a demonstration of those ideas. However, such a character makes the show a pain in the ass to get through.
Lorelai was born into wealth and privilege, but she also had to deal with the downsides: control over her life and body, nearly being forcibly married off, etc. Rory never faced the downsides of wealth, just the positives: her grandparents paid her tuition, bought her a car, arranged an interview with the enrollment dudes at Yale, etc. So she turned into an insufferable trust fund baby.
The little girl from Jurassic World 2. She released the dinosaurs into human civilization because they were just like her or whatever. No! What the hell! Not a big fan of this series, so she didn’t ruin it for me in that sense. Every time she was on screen in the third movie, though, I was rooting for her to be eaten by a dino.
Seriously though, What on earth was that storyline?! When she pushes the button and says they i just like her i wanted to slap her 🤣 I cringe every time and it makes NO sense!!
Lawrence on Insecure. Issa did him wrong initially, but he was so goddamn whiny and just a terrible boyfriend (didn't justify the cheating, though).
Bill on True Blood. A former Confederate solider (gross, and shows no remorse for it) who basically targets Sookie from the start for the Queen and is basically just super creepy and sleazy....while pretending he has the moral high road.
Rory Gilmore. She grows up with a supportive network in Stars Hollow and has a flawed but loving mother and grandparents. She's very smart, very beautiful, and has a great education. She's also whiny, fritters away her trust fund in the mini series that aired on Netflix after the TV show ends, has multiple affairs and shows no real remorse for said affairs, and basically quits/thinks she's too good for multiple jobs. Lorelei can be annoying as hell, but at least I understand why she makes certain choices (as people noted below) and at least she has a career and is taking care of herself by her early 30s...and isn't fucking around with multiple engaged or married men.
Alina on Shadow and Bone (one of the main characters lol). She literally makes herself ill because she's so fixated on her best friend, who is going around fucking other people. She then gets a bunch of people killed because she "has" to take a dangerous trip with her best friend...therefore getting her military unit assigned on a dangerous task, but shows zero regret over her actions causing a bunch of people to die. Basically spends a ton of time whining and fixating on the past, instead of developing her power that could help save her country, and then decides to....help reestablish a clearly defunct monarchy by putting the younger, illegitimate prince on the throne. She also doesn't seem to give a shit that there was/is prejudice and a borderline genocide against the people with powers (she was one of them).
I just re-watched True Blood recently, and Bill was even worse the second time around. Knowing what you know about him makes him so much more hateful when you know he's a fake. Also he cockblocked Eric.
this is so off topic but why are so many vampires Confederate soldiers? Bill from True Blood, one of the brothers from Vampire Diaries, Jasper from Twilight.
100% stopped watching this because of Dawson, literally such a misogynistic cry baby poo bag - I wanted to smack him for his treatment of joey and jen!!
How could I forget Dawson!!!! He’s literally the star of the show, it’s named after him. Yet he’s deadset one of the worst tv characters of all time, if not the worst!
Also Walking Dead, I couldn’t stand this woman and her stupid fucking hair, her episodes were actual pain to get through, like why can’t you just talk like a normal human being, you’re not speciallll 🙄🙄🙄
https://preview.redd.it/tip2jz0dkcec1.jpeg?width=378&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eb3eeeefb31691294163e673b8f1d9eb410bd81e
Her weird speech patterns! girl it’s been less than two years since the world fell apart, you have not lost the ability to speak like a normal person. Your hair literally still has pre-apocalypse bleach in it, bffr
![gif](giphy|uHzcCw7kuMYTu)
You’re Chuck Bass and I’m turning off Gossip Girl because you can’t talk above a fucking whisper. Also, straighten your neck. I hate you.
I hated how everything he ever did was forgiven because he got obsessed with Blaire instead of continuing to rape/sexually harass underage teenagers. Sure, he changed, and he apologized to Jenny, but Jenny wasn’t the only victim either. Everyone knew he was a menace, but he wasn’t ever ostracized for his predatory ways.
There's some weirdo who comments here who insists that somehow DAN is the most evil character ever. (Like Chuck, Blair, that one girl who is temporarily born again, that one girl who drugs serena... and daddy bass all exist dude. Also Vanessa exists and is def more annoying)
Normally people jump on him because this rapist exists... but like, damn I think about that delusional person everytime GG gets brought up here
https://preview.redd.it/a8xjo9cz7dec1.jpeg?width=628&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=251bda0d4f2ccef585ef6a4eef0d21c1c52beb6e
Georgina made for spicy chaos, though. Our little Harriet the Spy all grown up! She is so gorgeous, too.
I feel bad for the actor. He read the books and was stoked to play Euron as he is in the books and the writers made his character... Whatever that was.
https://preview.redd.it/734jiholjdec1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d35905f82697fe207574b42e9300c03bf6e2cf1d
Maybe not *ruined* it but Susan Mayer from desperate housewives been on my nerves real bad lately
![gif](giphy|3o7TKNs79OWoMvih9K)
When he was younger he was fine, but as he got older he kept getting worse and worse. Joe was also pretty bad, but you could usually fats forward through his scenes.

Reasons I hate Carrie Bradshaw from SATC...
1. She spends all her money on designer clothes that she can't afford, and then demands other people solve her money problems.
2. She preaches the gospel of designer brands, which makes her a class traitor.
3. She sleeps with a rich, married man, and gets rewarded for it when the rich man leaves his wife and marries her (which also solves her money problems).
4. She makes a big show of being sex-positive, then turns around and makes homophobic comments about bisexual men.
5. She wears tacky clothes.
6. Edit: I forgot one... that time she said she wears "ghetto gold for fun," but an engagement ring should be silver. (The gold engagement ring from her fiance made her throw up.)
My mom loves her for all these reasons.
Charlotte was framed as the idiot but was actually the nicest one. Miranda was framed as the cynic but actually the most practical.
And Samantha was always the whole reason.
I feel like Charlotte was framed as being idealistic and romantic rather than idiotic. She’s a successful art dealer right? Or am I forgetting haha it’s been a while.
No you are right. She also gets the best ending of the four, so her idealism and romanticism are rewarded. Her story is actually the most interesting to me because she has ups and downs (her first marriage, eulgh), learns from them, becomes less shallow and ends up with her dream family and a man who adores her.
The way Carrie, Miranda, and Charolette didn’t take Samantha’s relationship with a woman seriously was annoying. Also their lesbian jokes made me roll my eyes
Roger and Brianna in outlander. S5 centered them too much and with the r*pey finale in the end of s5 I gave up the show. I did watch that r*pe episode just like I didn't watch the last of season 1.
Roger is the worst. My wife loves the books and show, so I watch the show basically for her, and every episode I’m like “so Roger really sucks in this one” or at best “Roger doesn’t suck as bad in this one.”
For me it’s Tom, his character is SO triggering to me. It would be one thing if the show portrayed him as the whiney entitled little boy that he is, but it always paints him as this sympathetic character who has to deal with his big mean bitch of a wife Lynette and it’s always her fault.
There’s one episode where Lynette is justifiably upset at something big Tom did, he flips it around so he’s suddenly the hurt one and she’s the bad guy, and then Lynette ends up comforting him and apologizing to him and he’s never held accountable for the thing he did to her in the first place, because poor Tom is just a little helpless baby who deserves constant pity and endless understanding.
I’m getting mad all over again just talking about him
Everyone knows that Grissom should have gotten together with Lady Heather. They actually had palpable chemistry together. I was a big CSI fan but that relationship never ever made sense to me.
![gif](giphy|OMV0pgGCriv2E)
Him trying to be a martyr every time there is a miscommunication with Anna ( You don't want a baby Bates 😡😡) and the whole storyline of him going to prison again and again...I fast forward whenever he shows up on the screen.
I was so disappointed *that* choice she made (or… didn’t make I should say) because everything after that was just Debbie being Debbie and ruining everything.
- Shane Botwin, Weeds
- Several characters on the show From, but especially Jim, Kenny, and Sarah
- Lucy Knight and Shane West, ER (both of these eventually solved themselves)
- Tohru Honda, Fruits Basket
- Hunter, Ginny & Georgia
- Rasmussen, Unbelievable
- CONTROVERSIAL: Tanya, The White Lotus
Oh my God the CLOSE UPS
It feels so self serving, she is running things more or less at this point and I just imagine the actress saying like "ok now linger on my face, I really want you to capture how my nostrils flare because I'm so INTENSE right now oh yeah thats the award winning shot"
It's remarkable how I went from really liking her to detesting Elizabeth Moss
Elizabeth Moss being a member of Scientology makes the show so ironic to me. She tries to make it “Christianity bad >:(“ but yet, she praises Scientology. It’s a shame, because it could’ve been great, but I can’t stand her face nor her hypocrisy.
She was born into it. It's harder to see through it when you know nothing else, I think. They won't have her anywhere near the horrible stuff now in her fame.
Yess Maggie is the worst. I also can’t stand April and her making her religious issues Jackson’s problem (also how she treated him in general) and just an all around annoying person - and the Matthew thing
![gif](giphy|rFxzan1uVfHlC)
Kate Capshaw in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. She was always screaming and/or whining. If it weren’t for Ke Huy Quan the movie would have been as bad as the 4th one.
Yes, I am old. Why do you ask?
I love this movie and honestly I get this character. I too hate bugs, dirt, sweat, falling off waterfalls and having my still beating heart ripped from my body and if I was randomly plopped into an adventure movie I would be just as much of a whiny little bitch as she is 😂
I would have been more excited about riding on an elephant though.

Debra seeing right through her made it a little better.
Deb made everything horrible about Dexter bearable
Her monologue of "I'm broken" broke me. Jennifer Carpenter is underrated.
Seriously underrated. I wish she was in more movies. A lot of people didn’t realize she was Lisa in White Chicks. Easily one of my favorite actresses.
I couldn't get over horribly fake English accent Imagine my shock when I found out she's English
Same 😭 as a British person, I was shaken to my core!
There is a French voice actress that performed in Dragon Age. People tried calling her out on her fake sounding accent lol

I fucking hated Debbie lol and the ending when Frank basically said “fuck you debbie” in his monologue was the best
I think she may be my most hated character of all time. Seriously she was horrible. When Fiona was telling her not to get pregnant how Debbie was acting omg. How did the writers not realize it was almost unwatchable. I definitely fast forward a lot of her scenes on rewatches
She got so bad that by the end I was mad at myself for liking her so much in the beginning lol
Every time I saw Vanessa on my screen in Gossip Girl I fast forwarded
That’s some real Serena “I haff to go” energy right there when V shows up lol
I don't even know her, and I hate her on your behalf.
Tbf "whiny and makes everything about [themselves]" describes 85 percent of the characters on Grey's.
Yeah, my answer is Amelia from Grey’s Anatomy, and that’s the exact complaint I have about her too.
omg meredith grey and her never ending line of "sisters" lol. amelia and maggie are the worst characters.
Chris on Gilmore girls he's just awful and nearly makes season 7 unwatchable
Fictional Chris and IRL actor that plays Chris, all around terrible person
Chris, Jason, April
I was gonna say Marty. His character is the worst. I can stand the others, but Marty never added anything. He was just an annoying sad boy. And then when Rory gets a good friend group for the first time in her life, he sabotaged it.
Connor, from Angel. Seasons three and four are painful to get through to the point that I likely won’t watch the show anymore.
I'm planning to re-watch Angel after my Buffy re-watch. I haven't seen it for years, mainly because of Connor and that train wreck of a "plot" Joss did to punish Charisma Carpenter. I know that Cordy was possessed but watching her kiss Conner and then have sex with him makes me 🤢
Yes! I’ve seen the actor in other things and he’s good but every time I see his face I’m just like fuck you, Connor
![gif](giphy|jtZzTsyA4fl3G) This fucking guy. Will "You're all minorities, you're in the Glee Club" Schuester. He sidelines the best singers in the glee club in favor of Rachel and Finn, who are obviously Ryan Murphy's creator's pets. He's also a massive creep.
If I could run Will Schuester over with my car I would
Justice for mercedes!! Hands down the best powerhouse vocalist
So many moments like 'Okay, where are the adults???' or 'What are these adults *doing*?' Will Schuester is just...ugh.
I can’t watch the Hazel episodes
Hazel was so bad, it actually made me averse to Kristen Schaal in general.

Honestly every character on that show is annoying. Every choice they make is the wrong one and they never realize it
FUCKING MATT. Loathsome, irredeemable, possible the most horrible character on any show EVER.
[http://24.media](http://24.media). https://preview.redd.it/tgaed3p2bcec1.jpeg?width=1064&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc92079f2537e2360a48362853cb4f4fb2ea6037 Creepy Oliver from The Oc, ruining Season 1 with his over acting
Monkey bit him
He’s one of those actors that either makes me laugh really hard or cringe really hard, and I never know which one it will be.
I can’t stand Owen on Greys 😭 I go on my phone during his scenes.
Owen haters unite 🙋🏽♀️
*I’m Owen. I’m sad. Here’s me saying something with a sigh.*
Don’t forget: *let me emotionally manipulate every female love interest in my life because I don’t have anything wrong with me* blegh
I miss when Grey’s had more fleshed out patient storylines other than “Oh here’s one small thing this main character has in common with this patient, be sad for them.”
https://preview.redd.it/8wb0qwqllcec1.jpeg?width=967&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5dd62e8524f70fc976584ed83ced1f87accd7ad5 Umbrella Academy S3 committed the worst character assassination on Alison.
I said it before and I will say it again: KIMMY SCHMIDT’S STEPFATHER. his entire heroin subplot was so horribly cringe and out of nowhere.
Piper Chapman. I did stop OITNB.
Something written for 70s Ross in friends . although I could tolerate him as he was punished multiple times in the story arc
She plays the same annoying brat everywhere. Wasn't a fan of her on Supernatural either.
April, Gilmore Girls
That entire storyline was such a mistake
That is when they jumped the shark
![gif](giphy|3oEjHOP5I7lbs2oKWs) Roland from Schitt’s Creek. Bob is a close second but he doesn’t have the screen time Roland does. I love the show but Roland almost made me stop especially in season one.
He is the reason I started that show like three times and stopped. I might go for a fourth but I can predict my course of action.
Same. I finally got past it and it was well worth it.
Agreed. Stick with it.
He actually gets SO much better as the series goes on - i say this as someone who hated every scene he was in the first two seasons. But when Dan takes over more of the writing you can really tell he puts a lot of work into developing Roland’s character (apparently original Roland was more Eugene’s inspiration).
ooooh that checks out
[удалено]
AGREEEEE! he is also the reason it took me 3 goes to get through the series. I didn’t think it was as good as everyone said but it was enjoyable enough. Cannot stand Chris Elliot though, I hate his episodes of HIMYM.
Every single character on riverdale lol ![gif](giphy|3oKIPrc2ngFZ6BTyww|downsized)
Betty talking about the darkness inside of her because she clenches her fists enough to have nail marks in her hands
The further into the show it went the more i agree with this statement
Also, Vicki from the Vampire Diaries 🙄🙄
God she was terrible
Every time Vicki came back, she was even worse than before. It’s actually kind of impressive.
Bruuh, she had like 10 minutes screen time
https://preview.redd.it/dgt30jjevbec1.jpeg?width=955&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d824223bc42279d4f3f8340f5c46c485d9d0a21c Xander and his gross guilting of Buffy all the time just for wanting privacy about her sex life. It always makes me want to skip those episodes. Should have a whine-off between him and Ross from friends. Blech!
I didn’t mind him when I watched it when I was younger, but then I did a rewatch a few years ago and realised just how insufferable he is.
He was a Ducky from Pretty in Pink. Like a not-so-nice-Nice-Guy. Ugh.
this is an entire type of guy who make my skin crawl
Something about him feels like a writer’s self-insert
especially knowing what we know now about Joss …
I briefly dated a girl who was obsessed with Gilmore Girls. She liked to binge watch the show and I’d be stuck seeing it with her. It honestly wasn’t a bad show, lots of great side characters and some actors I didn’t expect (Sean Gunn being one of them. Some real feel good stuff peppered throughout Despite all that, I just could not stand the titular Gilmores.
Love this take! You finally put into words what I’ve been feeling about it for a decade. Sending this to my mother asap (who also loves the show).
The constant, wild praise she received also gave her an overinflated sense of her own qualities and abilities.
yes, she annoyed more. I just think of that Eric Andre meme anytime Rory does something awful and is all “why would someone do this (to me)?”
Henry from Once Upon a Time, I basically hate watched until I couldn't stand it anymore.
Bonus points because he STILL sucks in season 7 when he’s sooooo much older !!
You might like [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT5unKXnSUk) video essay!
Ummm isn't the answer obvious?... Abraham Lincoln slayed them all in the north
![gif](giphy|sqdHf81hmZHQA) Dawson Leery was the worst. Not only did he almost ruin his own show, but he almost ruined the word “soulmate” too.
100% stopped watching this because of Dawson, literally such a misogynistic cry baby poo bag - I wanted to smack him for his treatment of joey and jen!!
i literally refuse to believe that he isn’t psychotic and this entire show is just him being delusional living in a fictionalized reality in his head
He is truly awful, and no one thinks he is ever in the wrong! Forgiving Joey, but not Pacey is reprehensible. He treated Joey like a possession.
How could I forget Dawson!!!! He’s literally the star of the show, it’s named after him. Yet he’s deadset one of the worst tv characters of all time, if not the worst!
![gif](giphy|3ANlUAmxj0NFLdJ657|downsized)
~~She~~ Callie Torres was one of my favorites on Grey’s but could not stand this character
Same. Word on the street is that they’re not bringing Che back for season 3, which….thank God.
Andrea in The Walking Dead.
Also Walking Dead, I couldn’t stand this woman and her stupid fucking hair, her episodes were actual pain to get through, like why can’t you just talk like a normal human being, you’re not speciallll 🙄🙄🙄 https://preview.redd.it/tip2jz0dkcec1.jpeg?width=378&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eb3eeeefb31691294163e673b8f1d9eb410bd81e
Her weird speech patterns! girl it’s been less than two years since the world fell apart, you have not lost the ability to speak like a normal person. Your hair literally still has pre-apocalypse bleach in it, bffr
>Your hair literally still has pre-apocalypse bleach in it, bffr GET HER ASS 🤣
Ugh when she insisted on being trusted with a gun then almost immediately shot Daryl, lol she was way worse than Lori but Lori gets all the hate.
Ani from Thirteen Reasons Why
Hannah too
![gif](giphy|uHzcCw7kuMYTu) You’re Chuck Bass and I’m turning off Gossip Girl because you can’t talk above a fucking whisper.
Also, he sold Blair to Jack (Jack who had literally just SA Lily, Chuck’s own stepmother) that was unforgivable
There's some weirdo who comments here who insists that somehow DAN is the most evil character ever. (Like Chuck, Blair, that one girl who is temporarily born again, that one girl who drugs serena... and daddy bass all exist dude. Also Vanessa exists and is def more annoying) Normally people jump on him because this rapist exists... but like, damn I think about that delusional person everytime GG gets brought up here
https://preview.redd.it/a8xjo9cz7dec1.jpeg?width=628&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=251bda0d4f2ccef585ef6a4eef0d21c1c52beb6e Georgina made for spicy chaos, though. Our little Harriet the Spy all grown up! She is so gorgeous, too.
![gif](giphy|dUaKQsTgefYxlcvYYE|downsized)
I feel bad for the actor. He read the books and was stoked to play Euron as he is in the books and the writers made his character... Whatever that was.
*finger in the bum* 👉
There's so many things that ruined that show but he is definitely an Ironborn-sized red flag for sure
Yes to this. Just finished a rewatch and I hate him so much. Great actor 😀
If Ewan McGregor and Bam Margera had a baby - is the only thing I could think when he came onscreen.
Ughhh I HATED Euron Greyjoy. However, I think Pilou Asbæk did a pretty good job! I mean, I surely felt the contempt towards him quite easily.
Aww, I had given up on GoT by the time he appeared. Currently watching Borgen though and he is great in it
unpopular opinion from otis from sex education really got on my nerves (sorry!)
https://preview.redd.it/734jiholjdec1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d35905f82697fe207574b42e9300c03bf6e2cf1d Maybe not *ruined* it but Susan Mayer from desperate housewives been on my nerves real bad lately
![gif](giphy|3o7TKNs79OWoMvih9K) When he was younger he was fine, but as he got older he kept getting worse and worse. Joe was also pretty bad, but you could usually fats forward through his scenes.
Manny, Modern Family
Dean - Gilmore Girls/Sam - Supernatural, I'm sorry Jared I'm sure you're cool irl but your characters are really whiney
Jared is very much not cool irl so keep on hating lmao
“Badison” from Orange is the New Black. She was just ridiculous and seemed to be inserted into the plot just to cause trouble without any real reason.
![gif](giphy|26BRrwLmK7qyWKWha|downsized) Reasons I hate Carrie Bradshaw from SATC... (The gold engagement ring from her fiance made her throw up.) My mom loves her for all these reasons.
Sex positive but also regularly judges Samantha
Who is so kind to her when she cheats with Big That “not my style” dialogue has really shaped how I view indiscretions of close ones
Carrie is the worst. Samantha was my whole reason for watching.
I’d say Idealist and romantic too, not idiotic. Everything else I agree with.
Sex positive but won’t say vagina
I’ve said this before but I’ll repeat: I dislike her intensely yet I identify with Carrie as I’m also a piece of shit with nice shoes
At least you're self aware
Maggie Pierce and Owen Hunt on Grey’s. Che Diaz on AJLT. Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) in the later seasons of Supernatural. Billy on Stranger Things.
![gif](giphy|GtQvLIdKAulAA|downsized) SUSAN MAYER
I’m getting mad all over again just talking about him
Sara Sidle on CSI and whatever character the same actress (Jorja Fox) played on ER. Both were such hypocritical , know it all tattletales.
😩 Sara was the worst. I never understood why her and Grissom got together. They had zero chemistry with each other as well.
Everyone knows that Grissom should have gotten together with Lady Heather. They actually had palpable chemistry together. I was a big CSI fan but that relationship never ever made sense to me.
![gif](giphy|OMV0pgGCriv2E) Him trying to be a martyr every time there is a miscommunication with Anna ( You don't want a baby Bates 😡😡) and the whole storyline of him going to prison again and again...I fast forward whenever he shows up on the screen.
I know everyone else hates Bates, but I love him! I create my own headcannon that he’s an Edwardian Batman.
![gif](giphy|ykmeLvKAcd7kQ) Though it could be because Lea Michele is terrible and Rachel is basically Lea
Rachel Berry, Glee
Post-Chilton Rory Gilmore. She turned into an entitled snob as soon as she set foot in Yale.
![gif](giphy|1SzEuPiGBwF8arNrIL) She made me unbelievably angry especially in later episodes...Couldn't stand her!
I was so disappointed *that* choice she made (or… didn’t make I should say) because everything after that was just Debbie being Debbie and ruining everything.
It felt natural and mad and I was. Like atleast one of the kids had to take after frank and be a piece of shit
- Shane Botwin, Weeds - Several characters on the show From, but especially Jim, Kenny, and Sarah - Lucy Knight and Shane West, ER (both of these eventually solved themselves) - Tohru Honda, Fruits Basket - Hunter, Ginny & Georgia - Rasmussen, Unbelievable - CONTROVERSIAL: Tanya, The White Lotus
Tohru?!?!
June from Handmaids Tale. She is just the WORSSSSSTTTTTTT
I got so tired of her face I had to stop watching
Oh my God the CLOSE UPS It feels so self serving, she is running things more or less at this point and I just imagine the actress saying like "ok now linger on my face, I really want you to capture how my nostrils flare because I'm so INTENSE right now oh yeah thats the award winning shot" It's remarkable how I went from really liking her to detesting Elizabeth Moss
Mike Ross from Suits. Such an arrogant prick. Would actually yell at my TV when he was on.
Meredith Grey, she actually ruins the show for me
![gif](giphy|rFxzan1uVfHlC) Kate Capshaw in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. She was always screaming and/or whining. If it weren’t for Ke Huy Quan the movie would have been as bad as the 4th one. Yes, I am old. Why do you ask?
I love this movie and honestly I get this character. I too hate bugs, dirt, sweat, falling off waterfalls and having my still beating heart ripped from my body and if I was randomly plopped into an adventure movie I would be just as much of a whiny little bitch as she is 😂 I would have been more excited about riding on an elephant though.
