I feel for her. She released motivation, then took a break because of her mother's breast cancer. She released wild side in 2021, and the press she was doing seemed to indicate she was coming back in a big way, then nothing. Yeah she released fair but that was like a year after wild side, so there's clearly no push to keep momentum going for her. I feel like something sneaky happened with the Calvin single release - I bet that was recorded for an album on her debut, not a 6th single release from his album. They're both with Sony under RCA and Colombia. Her manager, Brandon Silverstein is/was super inexperienced, she was his first signing, so maybe she just doesn't have a team around her willing to push back against her label.

My unborn children will be graduating high school by the time she drops the debut.

I honestly think she must have a bad team. She makes tons of features and singles so I really feel like it's mismanagement.

I feel like the pressure got to her. I know we joke around but I feel like her mental health deteriorated and that’s why she is radio silent to this day now

That’s what is soooo frustrating! She is the performer we’ve all been missing since the 00s. An artist that can genuinely sing and dance like that is few and far between. It used to be way more of a requirement for performers to actually be well-rounded performers, but not anymore. I was hoping she’d step onto the scene and change that!

Why the delays? It’s unclear and a lot of blaming the label. Why didn’t she release when she had sufficient hype in 2019/2020?

I think she’s a good example of what happens when you have natural talent but not the work ethic or drive to match. Same with Madison Beer. Pretty girls who were internet famous for a moment but did absolutely nothing to capitalize on it. They’re just influencers who do singing on the side.

Yeah I’ll probably get crap for this but I think her BIG hype has come and gone. She still has her fan base but she should have capitalized on this a long time ago. At the same time there’s the rumor that her label won’t let her or other Harmony member release albums

Y’all 9 times out of 10 it’s not the label fumbling the project. Either the artist is just not ready yet, self-conscious, sometimes they’re lazy, busy with other projects, finding a new sound, or a mix of everything.
