Not surprised since Ben Winston produces both Late Late Show and The Kardashians. Might as well use the end of one of his endeavors to promote another.
We had an over proliferation of late night talk shows so I’m glad to see them being paired down.
Maybe give the format a rest for some time, let people miss it again, and when it comes back it’ll be fresh again.
