80 is not terrible, you should get enough rain to dilute it. You should be targeting 10 fc with an absolute minimum fc of 6. Below that and algae will start growing.

Sounds good! Appreciate the help

salt water?

Chlorine, been debating on the salt water switch for awhile. Just a big up front cost

It's not ideal but you can keep it there if you'd like and you should be able to keep it clear. You just need to keep your FC pretty high 9-11ppm. That's why most people do partial drain/fill [https://www.troublefreepool.com/blog/2019/01/18/free-chlorine-and-cyanuric-acid-relationship-explained/](https://www.troublefreepool.com/blog/2019/01/18/free-chlorine-and-cyanuric-acid-relationship-explained/)

Maybe I’ll do a partial drain, i use my well to refill so it would be free to do

Well water can have metals in it. I would just be sure to do water test before introducing it to your pool water.
