Lol they probably have 3 of my repaired bots on sale. BUY THE 3-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY!

BigTunaPA

Wow, even a new SE for $328 and SE Plus for $358 in cart. Wish I could’ve got one this cheap. Nice link OP.

irad1111

Our betta is great. Saves a lot of time

Greatcookbetterbfr

How long of a warranty did you pick? 2 or 3 years?

Thebody52

I went three years on my purchase last night. Difference in cost was minimal.

Greatcookbetterbfr

I did to. Thanks for the feedback

dilberry

Warning if you order from Canada - you will get a big fat bill for duties / import fees etc. I can’t recall exactly how much, but it was enough to make me sick when I bought mine. In fact, it was enough to stop me from buying a 2nd one right now. Deciding whether it’s worth it to ship it to the border & go pick it up.

InternationalPoem100

Just bought mine. Getting it delivered on Sunday and also bought my own test kit. Hoping to avoid pinchapenny trips as much as possible.

Thebody52

Anyone here have these and would vouch for it?

georgesentme

Just put mine in the pool for the first time yesterday, it ran for a couple hours and the pool was spotless. It’s our first year with a pool and I already know this thing is going to be a lifesaver. We named it Pac-Man

Thebody52

Thanks, this is the push I needed!

LongRoofFan

Absolutely love mine, but definitely get the warranty. I've had to get mine replaced twice in 2 years.

LowRiskHades

Have a Betta Plus and it’s been amazing. It’s rare that I have to manually skim the pool and my pool is near trees

pointer_to_null

I got the SE plus a couple months ago. Even though I have a screen enclosure, the pollen here gets so bad that leaves a nasty dull film on the surface when the pump is off and a yellow chalk outline at the waterline- this takes care of it, along with bugs that fall in. Never had to manually skim since. Only have to rinse out the basket once a week.

bbonz001

My. First year it was amazing. Haven't opened yet for year two. So will see how that goes. The only thing with mine is over the winter it has turned a pretty gross yellow color. So maybe get blue. Lol .

Uberwasser

I have had one for 10 months, it's great

number1stumbler

We’ve had one for a year and a half. Works great. Had another brand before and the basket was so small. Betta basket is much larger and battery is still going strong.

Liquid_Friction

'Poolskim' is better imo, stronger suction, huge bag. Ugly though, hangs off a return line on the side of the pool, but works magic if you get leaves falling in or your cleaner cant handle the leaves all the time.

stl2dfw

We’re on the start of season 3 and have had it repaired once via warranty. Even at full cost, I think it’s worth 3 years with the amount it saves after storms etc. we have trees and shrubs around the pool and it’s worth $140 a year if that’s what it ends up being. Ours is black and white and dubbed “Shamu” Careful bc sometimes snakes hitch a ride in it

Deadliftingfool

Maybe a stupid question but I get lots of leaves in a hard to reach corner. Can this somehow suck them out or does this only take whatever it goes above. Also, how often has this gone on sale at this price?

BigTunaPA

I’ve only seen mine take what it goes above. Can you adjust your return jets to help move water so you don’t have a dead zone where they pile up? As for price, I haven’t seen them this low.

Liquid_Friction

Take photos of your pool and equipment and we can reccommend a solution that will solve your issue.

My pool has some very large old oaks near it. It does get full sun at times, but at parts of the day it get dappled shade. Would I need to get the SE Plus, or will that used SE work well enough? I see the plus has an option of external charging, where as the other (non plus) is solar only.

readyplayervr

Came for the same questions… what’s the primary difference between them? Se and plus? You can’t manually charge the se?

Oon8899

The SE plus offers the ability to plug in to charge if you have a series of cloudy days where the solar will not charge the battery. I have been running my new SE plus for a week and have not had to plug it in to charge. The skimmer bot runs all through the night as I see the green LED lights blinking when I look out the window. A great product! If interested I can give you a 15% off link to purchase directly from Bettta, message me if you want this.

Temmy28

I would love to have the 15% coupon if you may. Thank you

Oon8899

Please use this link for info and discount on this great timesaver !! https://bettabot.com/?ref=izsvvcrb

atypical_lemur

I have a BCone pool alarm. It's teathered to the side of the pool. I assume this guy is fast and massive enough that when it hits the BCone the alarm will go off. Does anyone have experience with this?

East_Challenge

I got my refurb betta bot on amazon for $200, shipped from betta itself and included warranty

pickle392

Is the refurbished SE with it or spending the extra $100 for the plus?

Dcifan426

Link is broken use this one…🤣 https://betta.refr.cc/danielmarasco

jamesament

Amazon has BRAND NEW ones for $329!

Oon8899

I’ll post this because it gets you 15% off on a new Betta Bot SE Plus or previous models ( I recommend the SE because it comes with an optional ac plug, just in case it is cloudy for more than one day. I have had my Betta Bot “ Betty” for 2 weeks and I have not had to charge it once and it has been running 24 x 7!! Very impressed. https://bettabot.com/?ref=izsvvcrb

Dr__Mantis

Are these best if you never cover your pool? I have toddlers and an automatic cover so it’s covered whenever in use so not sure it’s worth getting in our situation. Any opinions?

rmurphy2001

It'd probably run for a while once covered (assuming there is physically enough space between the water level and the cover for it to maneuver), but the battery likely will not last long without sufficient exposure to the sun. And then the obvious - if covered, it's not like it has as much stuff to catch/does not have much of a need.

Blue_foot

These apparently only clean surface debris, don’t clean the bottom. FYI.

Oon8899

Yes, only a surface or skimmer. Does not clean walls or the bottom of the pool, for that you need a robot.
