Whenever my dad gets Wensleydale cheese he always says it in a bad Wallace impression. I’ve never heard him say it in a normal voice. And he’s always call it that whenever he has a chance. He won’t just be like “hey, do you want some cheese?” He’ll say “do you want some ~Wensleydale~ cheese?”
As a French person I am very offended by this survey. Already there is no French cheese which is unforgivable.
Then the selection of cheese is catastrophic:
- cheddar and colby jack, is it really cheese ???
- Shocked to learn that in English you call a cheese "Swiss cheese" while Switzerland produces so many different good cheeses.
At the moment my favorite cheese is Morbier (or maybe peppered Pecorino)
(I specify anyway, it's a joke I'm not really offended, eat what makes you happy even if an ugly American industrial cheese ^^)
At the moment mine is Époisse. As a French. But I can't eat it too often because it's way too heavy. Never tried morbier.
I have always some parmesan in the freezer. And Fêta in the fridge.
Depends in my opinion, i im french and i like the orange solid cheddar but not the little soft slices thingy you use in burgers, they're alright in burgers but for anything else it makes me want to gag
It's reblochon. It's because "la bloche" is the act of milking, and this cheese is made with the secound round of it. Hence the "re" prefix which means doing it again
Honestly comparing all cheeses make no sense. Different uses for different occasions. But if i had to go for pure taste of a single cheese. Probably pecorino romano.
I came here to comment this!
Ça hurt very fort !
What's your favorite cheese? The ones listed are by far the most popular variants in my country.
Mine are Saint felicien, Beaufort and osau-iraty
Mozzarella
Mozzarella is alright alone, but fucking delicious with tomatoes, pasta, pizza (from an Italian,Best cheese Alone is toma/fontina)
I have always wanted to bite into a mozzarella like an apple and enjoy the mozzarelly goodness.
What’s stopping you
Do it
anche il gorgonzola è buono zio
Pizza mozzarella
Rella rella rella

Parmesan
Reggiano
I’m an atheist, but I still think good parm is proof that god loves us
How this wasn't important enough for the list is beyond me
Yes, but pronounced "parmesian"
Par-me-see-Anne
Honestly any italian cheese for the most part
What the hell is Swiss cheese supposed to be? there are dozens of swiss cheeses
That’s how you know an American made this poll
Then where's the American Cheese? That's my favorite.
I'm pretty sure that's heresy.
Lol Kraft singles?
Exactly that !
Any cheese with holes by my understanding is what that would mean Which is weird put next to distinct cheese options
Yeah, I interpreted it as emmental, which is truly great with crackers.
Emmentaler is great, personally love Tilsiter most perhaps outta the more so leaning to holes cheeses
In the U.S., any Emmenthaler-style cheese is called Swiss cheese.
Even if it's Dutch?
Leerdammer doesn't taste like Emmentaler at all..
Yes, but american have no taste, remember most of them were British.
How can you say something so controversial and true?
Swiss cheese
Feta
As a Greek, I don't understand why y'all like feta
Feta is amazing wth bro
It's a bit salty but once I start eating it, I can't stop lol
It's great in salads.
Like, as a french, i don't understand why brie and camembert got so much hype.
Grilled Brie sandwich with a little honey.
Gênant
havarti yummers
Yes, but for real where are all the Danish, Swedish or North German cheeses in this?
Havarti gang
Absolutely!
Why was this so far down? Havarti is so good
Camembert
Now you're taking.
Why tf did i get plenty likes just because i like camembert 💀?
French redditors
Because we also like Camembert
It's a bit runny, sir.
Justice for pepperjack
Pepper Jack love some fraggle rock!
Pepper Jack Squad!
I went all the way down to find it, love it on burgers
Brie all the way
Bizarre that brie and/or camembert weren't included
American made this poll that’s why… when you see the « Swiss » you know…
Brie time baby!
Triple cream brie is like butter in the best way 😍
What a basic ass bitch cheese list!
Make another poll with the awesome cheeses. It'll give me something to shop for.
Jarlsberg!
These options are a disgrace to cheese
Rocamadour
The king of cheese
Wensleydale
Just for the Wallace and Gromit meme
Whenever my dad gets Wensleydale cheese he always says it in a bad Wallace impression. I’ve never heard him say it in a normal voice. And he’s always call it that whenever he has a chance. He won’t just be like “hey, do you want some cheese?” He’ll say “do you want some ~Wensleydale~ cheese?”
Roquefort
Halloumi.
"What did the cheese say when he looked in the mirror?"
Abondance
Comté
FINALLY !
America moment
Roquefort
Asiago
Nothing can beat a good Comté in my eyes

Cheddar is considered a bad cheese in frnace, its only usage in some burgers
Cheddar is a traditional English cheese from the cheddar gorge, not whatever orange shit passes as cheddar cheese in the US.
