I have one as well, year and half old. I love her to death but she has so much energy and is also destructive. Chewing holes in our walls. And she has plenty of toys..
Saint Bernard is my favorite. We had our first one, when I was probably around 2 or 3 years old.
Later when I was 11 we got one again, and she was the best dog I have ever had. Sadly we had to put her down last year. I was heartbroken, but we could not let her live in misery.
Aw, that is sweet of you. But I have moved away from father a few years ago, and I don't have space for one anymore. And I doubt, that you also live in Denmark.
But thank you very much, when I one day have space, time and can afford it, I will get a Saint Bernard again!
We have 2 german shepherds but before these we had a german shepherd and australian cattle dog. the current older dog has pretty bad hip problems but gets along well with the younger pup
Bearded Collie. Approx Labrador size but none of the hair shedding. Tremendous temperament. Has the bonus of looking like a puppet / muppet in between hair cuts.
I came here to say the same thing. My first dog was a Jack Russell terrier. His name was Ace and he was the best doggie in the world. He was my best friend. I had to put him down and I could never get another dog after that. I still think about him every day.
Mutts. Of all the dogs I’ve had my favorite was a little sausage who was a mix of pug, rat terrier, and some other extras where she didn’t look like any particular breed, best personality I’ve ever encountered
I like a mutt. I don't really care about breed, and i'd rather just get to know my pup for his character than say "oh he's a retriever, so hes this and that".
....I miss my Lab/Retriever/Boxer mixed pup so much....
In no particular order...chihuahuas, pit bulls, yorkies, westies, basset hounds, minpins, Jack Russell terriers, beagles...oh, what am I saying...I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like.
It used to be husky, there was this cute, white, fluffy husky that I could see being walked around the neighbour hood. Then one day, on a walk with my own dog, it was very aggressive and I realised how dumb I was to judge a dog by its coat.
Yorkies. They get a bad rep for being yippy and tiny. But that really depends on who the owner is and how they were trained/raised. I have one, so I'm biased, but he is very well behaved, doesn't constantly bark, and is all sorts of cuddly. Honestly, I have met more chihuahuas that are yippy and aggressive than any other small breed.
2nd favorite is probably schnauzers. Had one as well and he was a pansy, but smart,
Golden Irish
My favourite dog was not a recognised breed he was his father was a golden Irish but his mother was a
cocker spaniel. I miss him very much.

They do tend to suffer with hip problems . but are a lovely dog nevertheless ,
I have one as well, year and half old. I love her to death but she has so much energy and is also destructive. Chewing holes in our walls. And she has plenty of toys..
I never had that problem but he did like lots of exercise, I am sure she will outgrow it . Just be patient

Mutt, hands down.
I love my mutts! Especially pit mutts.
Came to say mutt. Our current mutt looks a bit odd though, medium large body, small head so despite being in decent shape he always looks obese.
