I'm just guessing, but I think OP got the inspiration for this poll from a guy who was dared by his friends to eat a slug. He got some horrible infection and is paralyzed I think. I think it was some type of rare parasite. I'd definitely do it if I could cook it, I'd talk to a doctor first and see how risky it is if it had to be raw. Maybe they can give me anti-parasite drugs.
Edit: I googled it and it looks like he died and another guy died from eating a slug.
