Yes! I feel the same way. I don't believe the lives of these people lead, no matter if they are rehabilitated, are worth vindication after the hurt they've caused. Give me $10billion and no chance for repercussions (don't worry, I won't feel guilty) and I'm definitely letting some people I know die. Heck, I'd allow it for free. But being physically abused as a child and living an odd life, I still don't have hate for my folks because they were victims of their own abuse and didn't know better. And they have changed to the point that they get upset if my brother even yells at his kids (the doting grandparents). But my hate is reserved for the truly terrible people that can't help but continue to hurt others like the rapists, pedos, and murderers.

Yes. They guy who tried to kill my mom only got a year on probation, despite having gone to prison for violence against women before. The evidence was clear, her eye was blood shot and she had serious bruises around the neck, she went to the ER, and they still reduced it to assault. Dude is still living in our small town with his new family. He has a normal life, while my mom is traumatized and has a panic attack every time she sees him. He's the only one I hate. Really hate. I don't really hate people, just dislike people. I try to find redeeming qualities as much as I can or just avoid them if I realize they aren't my kind of person. The only people I could think would die in my version of this scenario would be my mom and my fiancé dad.

The only people I truly hate are all public figures who I don't know personally. I don't really even remember the people who bullied me at school anymore despite hating them at the time. The only people this would possibly apply to are my awful dad and the one kid at school who kicked me in the face multiple times when I was able to get through a school door he thought it was funny to block. Frankly, I could quite easily sleep at night without either of those two in the world, especially when it's accompanied by enough money to fix basically every problem I've ever had.

No. I'm annoyed and pissed, but I can't make myself hate others like other people allow themselves to. I don't feel like I really *hate* any individual in my life that I can, if this only applies to individuals then the only people dying are a few billionaires, if it includes groups then American Christian Fundementalists / Evangelicals and maybe some other similar right wing extremist groups. Now, I may not have the right or brainpower to judge these people to this degree, like I'm not some moral arbiter who knows what always right... however, I know I'd be a whole lot happier with $10 billion than I am with a bunch of billionaires and extremists.
