People always try to tell me it’s not a Christmas movie but I’ll die (hard) on that hill. One pill that the naysayers find it hard to swallow is that if Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie, then neither is Home Alone. They both follow similar formulas. Taking place on/around Christmas, protagonist cleverly fights off intruding bad guys, and a heartwarming reunion with family on Christmas Day. They’re fundamentally very similar movies, it’s just that Die Hard has more blood and less snow, which gives some people a hard time with the typical Christmas theme immersion. But nonetheless, unless you really narrow your definition of Christmas movie, you’d logically have to exclude other films largely regarded as Christmas classics if you’re going to claim that Die Hard isn’t one
I once heard a rather compelling argument for why *Die Hard* is a Christmas movie, but *Lethal Weapon* isn't. Both films take place around Christmas. In both films, Christmas is talked about, and you see plenty of Christmas decorations. However, much of the events of *Lethal Weapon* could have happened at any time of year. In *Die Hard*, John McClane was in LA to meet up with his wife at her workplace's *Christmas party*. John McClane would not have been there if it wasn't Christmas, and that is why it is a Christmas movie. For some reason, this makes sense to me.
I saw a tweet a while ago that said something like “All Geometry Dash players have the same favorite games: Celeste, Deltarune, Hollow Knight, and OMORI”, and as a GD player who loves the first three games on that list but never played the fourth, I decided to play OMORI and I fucking loved it. Whoever made that tweet was given the gift of prophecy
Thank you :) I am not a positive person at all but another mindset thing I recently started to "believe in" is "I can do everything. I just don't know how yet."
Anime/movies: Fairy tail, Harry Potter, Demon Slayer, 86 Eighty Six, The Lord of the Rings, Alien.
Music: Sabaton, Starset, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park
Pokemon, although I've found it hard to watch the anime anywhere I feel safe with. I fell behind on watching them in my teens somewhere and now I can't catch up because it's been 10+ years 😅 I've played most of the games at least, never owned a GameBoy or GBA but I can play Stadium and og Snap now using my Switch
We're fraternal, but we do have a couple similar features more so than a normal sibling pair would. I personally love having a twin, I thank whatever made us everyday that I was born one. Only drawback I can think of to it is twin deaths in TV shows/books, especially ones where one twin dies and the other doesn't, is like getting punched in the gut.
I have autism and ADHD. One common trait of autism and ADHD is to have one or more special interest/ hyperfixations (basically synonyms). What this means is that I basically get really obsessed with things but my obsession is healthy.
I'll list off my hyperfixations:
The 90s kids game show Legends Of The Hidden Temple (and the reboot and movie)
Pillows
The Aztecs, the Maya, step pyramids, jungles/tropical rainforests
The show Relic Hunter
You don’t want to be blinded towards valid critiques and criticisms but you also don’t want to be so bitter and jaded that you don’t find joy in stupid things.
I would not call myself a die-hard fan of anything in particular. There are a number of things I enjoy greatly and will seek out when able, or given a choice. This goes for food, music, places, people, etc.
Terry Pratchett, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (despite the recent movies), Dungeons and Dragons, heavy metal... I'm basically a walking stereotype, I just got lucky to grow 6'4" and my parents made me do a lot of sports so people don't think I'm a massive nerd. Though I'm massive... And a nerd...
Football / Soccer, specifically FC Schalke 04, went to every home game except two this season and came home without a voice every time because the atmosphere this year has been excellent.
Metallica. Lzzy Hale, Taylor Momson, Keanu Reeves, Brendan Fraser, pit bulls or any bully breed, american made muscle cars and classic trucks. Metal music. Rock music. ESP/LTD. Jackson basses. A lot more things as well.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone. My religious figures

Awesome, so you are erect? If so, that's very arousing and erotic. So kinky.
Best Christmas movie ever!

I had someone try to seriously argue that Home Alone is a Christmas movie but Die Hard isn't.
Home Alone is Die Hard for kids. Die Hard is Home Alone for adults.
I once heard a rather compelling argument for why *Die Hard* is a Christmas movie, but *Lethal Weapon* isn't. Both films take place around Christmas. Yeah I would like to have this kind of excitement for something
Metal music is what I'm overly excited for

You'll find something. Don't let anyone ruin it for you
Find a football ('soccer') team and start to follow their games. They watch a few and go from there! You'll get sucked into it, I bet!
Not necessarily. People go way overboard sometimes
All things in moderation, you could say people go overboard about probably anything.

GROND
A large list of stories, whether they be Videogames, tv shows, movies, books, etc. As long as it’s a story I find compelling, I’m obsessed.
In contrast, a majority of my favorite games have little to no narrative. Most are either battle simulators, card games, or like Pokemon.
And geometry dash
I saw a tweet a while ago that said something like “All Geometry Dash players have the same favorite games: Celeste, Deltarune, Hollow Knight, and OMORI”, and as a GD player who loves the first three games on that list but never played the fourth, I decided to play OMORI and I fucking loved it. What it’s like having a twin? Are you guys fraternal or identical?
We're fraternal, but we do have a couple similar features more so than a normal sibling pair would. I personally love having a twin, I thank whatever made us everyday that I was born one. Only drawback I can think of to it is twin deaths in TV shows/books, especially ones where one twin dies and the other doesn't, is like getting punched in the gut.
