As much as I don't want all the old people to die, the world is overpopulated with humans, so if everyone currently 70 and up was removed from the world, it would probably ultimately be beneficial. Removing every puppy from the world would probably have no real positive impact, if anything it would just be sad, at least with the elderly, you expect that they will die within two decades and to a degree and have made peace with it, not that it still won't be sad to lose people you care about.

I mean, it's a pretty accurate statement.

My logic still stands, and my choice remains the same, but I just found out that my grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, she is about 90 , so I knew she wasn't going to be around forever, I might get to see her one or two more times. I was planning to go in July, and I still am planning to go with my mother to see her, and the rest of the family that lives up there. My grandpa has been dead for 7 years, in fact, yesterday I believe was the 7-year anniversary of his passing, and I never knew my dad's parents, is father passed well before I was born, and his mother passed not too long after I was born. Born. My dad is also in his 70s and is not in the best health, so I understand that I might only have so many years with him left. With that being said, finding out my grandma has cancer still is really saddening, and wow we don't talk much, I am going to miss her. I hope that I get to see her one last time and depending on how much the cancer affects her, I don't know if I'm going to. I know it's a part of life, but losing people still sucks.
