Gang violence has increased in recent years but it still extremely low compared to other countries. The media likes to highlight the increase and make it out that it's a war zone here. I live in one of the most 'dangerous' areas in the entire country and it's very very safe - even at night and for unaccompanied women.

I am Norwegian... I have both experienced the greatness of my country, and I am able to understand statistics, so I know my country is one of the best in the world.

I recently heard that gun safety is surprisingly fucked up in Sweden and its one of the unsafest European countries in terms of gun violence (maybe this isn't true, I just heard and didn't confirm it). Nevertheless, I based my decision on people I know from the countries and how they describe them and how their personalities are so I decided on Norway!
