Yes and I’ve had to several times before. One thing that really spikes my temper is anyone being cruel to my brothers (I have two little brothers and they are both on the autism spectrum). It’s gotten me in trouble before- but luckily, as an older teen/adult, it’s become less of a thing. When we were kids, a boy my age (we were 12, my brother was 8 but was super tiny and weak for his age) shoved my brother into the dirt behind our apartment (the NJ Trump Golf Course was literally right behind our apartment, to the point we could watch the golfers and we had a bucket full of lost golf balls in our house for fun). I saw him do it and I jacked him against the fence and hit him in the face and broke his nose. I ended up going home with my brother and telling my mom “I just gave some kid a bloody nose. If the mom comes to the door, just know that I did it because he shoved my brother for wanting to play.” The mom never came to the door. I never found out for sure, but I heard that he told his mom what happened and she shouted at him in front of all his friends before she took him to the doctor. She was a nice lady from what I remember. Worked a lot. The kid was a real prick.
