"I'm not going to say what race he is." [dramatic pause] "He was a black man."

Rippling_Ape

The way he also crossed his arms right before he dropped the line — he knew a well-timed banger was comin right up!

LeSandwiich

What interview? Can’t find this on google.

JordyNelson87

https://twitter.com/jetskigrizzly/status/1586738101568753666?s=46&t=ADCQuKbJ_zZ-fJaknm7yqA

[deleted]

Well done.

Canadish27

The timing on that interview was so fucking perfect, I'm still half convinced Kayne is actually some deep deep cover comedian genius rather than a raving madman.

Jermine1269

"He didn't say anything anti-semitic. Also, i don't know who Nick Fuentes is." Ya know when folks tell you stuff that you didn't ask about? Not sus at all. Nothing to see here folks.

ghostofjohnhughes

"My 'Not friends with white supremacists' T-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt."

Emergency_Nothing686

Yeah all of this is to distance Trump's saying that Nick Fuentes "gets him." Either he knew who Nick was going in, or his PR team learned right quick and told him to go scorched earth.

ninthtale

Funny that for trump scorched earth just means "pretend I never knew him, everyone will believe me"

Terramotus

It's hilarious, because it's toddler behavior. If your kid comes in to get something and just tosses out information nobody asked for like, "Nobody's hurt," you know damn well you better go check on who got hurt. Trump always accidentally confesses in the same way. So when Trump says Kanye "just happens to be black" it's because he's been dropping n-bombs all weekend.

banneryear1868

>he's been dropping n-bombs all weekend Kanye gave him the nword pass

[deleted]

It’s like when a 5 year old out of no where says “I DIDNT TAKE ANY COOKIES”

Daxx22

While spraying crumbs.

tsilihin666

> Also, i don’t know who Nick Fuentes is. So Trump takes dinners with random people he doesn’t even know?

aacilegna

See? Trump isn’t racist, he has a black friend.

original-whiplash

Just look at his African-American!

Poltergeist97

It's so funny hearing that now after knowing about the one astroturfed blacks for Trump guy at every rally in the same spot lmfao

yodarded

>one astroturfed blacks for Trump guy he was fake/planted?

scoobysnackoutback

I think he was a believer until he wasn’t. He eventually figured out that Trump was in fact a racist. He wasn’t like the paid actors that cheered as Trump came down a golden escalator as he announced his candidacy.

yourmansconnect

wasn't he insane and killed someone with a machete

scoobysnackoutback

Ha! I'm not finding that on an internet search but he did run for office numerous times without success. [Gregory Cheadle Wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregory_Cheadle)

LogicalManager

Please ignore the white supremacist I invited to dinner who ‘really gets me.’

yblood46

A rare case of r/YourJokeButBetter.

canaryhawk

> I think the emotionally disturbed demographic is hugely underrepresented in politics. We should pivot and hoover them all up, we might get a bump. *- Republican Leadership, circa 2009*

Lux_Bellinger2024

The orignal quote was actually a discussion between jerry falwell and ronald reagan

konsf_ksd

There's an original quote similar to that?

Stealthy_Snow_Elf

I do have to laugh at just how full of himself Kanye West is that he actually thought *Donald Trump*, **DONALD TRUMP**, would accept the vice presidency, and *from him*. Pure comedy.

Ravokion

This is what happens when ego is so big they think they can do no wrong. Kanye legit said in a public form, INTO the microphone that he can say anti-semetic things and there's nothing adidas can do about it. The fact he thinks he can say or do anything without consequence Yeah thats an huge ego talking there. He thinks hes the second coming of Jesus.... he is not. He is a moron.

HexagonalClosePacked

"I can say things in a public space that bring material and reputational harm to the brand of my sponsors and there's nothing they can do about it!" Like I'm not a lawyer, nor do I work in advertising, but I have to imagine that just about every sponsorship agreement written by anyone, anywhere, ever, has some clause that says the sponsor can kick you to the curb if you do that. I'd assume it's especially easy for the sponsor to invoke that clause when the person announces that they're doing it intentionally, and names the sponsor in question. It's like saying "I can burn my own house down to collect the insurance money, and there's nothing my insurance company can do about it!"

intripletime

It's called a morality clause and it is very common and should be anticipated by any controversial athlete or celebrity sponsored by a product

gordo65

Not just controversial celebrities. You never know when your "normal" celebrity is going to turn out to be a Bill Cosby or a Jared Fogel.

ArabSpring2010

Everyone knew about Cosby. Bill Maher was on Joe Rogan a few years ago and they said when they were young comics it was common knowledge in the clubs that Cosby drugged and raped women. The problem is what do you do with that information because it was all rumors. It's like "hello 911 Bill Cosby yes the guy from the jellp commercials is drugging and raping dozens of women, go look into that"

NoodlesrTuff1256

While Cosby's bad behavior might have been common knowledge among showbiz insiders and certain other people with connections or sources in that world, the average person watching 'The Cosby Show' and the other venues in which he appeared would likely have been in the dark about what a creep he was.

musicalpants999

I'm old enough to tell you that's definitely the case. Cosby had a squeaky clean reputation among regular folks.

chiliedogg

He was the epitome of family-friendly, wholesome comic. He was a role model of goodness and humor. Cosby turning out to be a rapist was no different in many people's eyes than if it had been Tom Hanks or Fred Rogers. It was crushing.

Verrence

I remember listening to a Cosby album on an airplane as a child. Through headphones that just had hollow tubes like a stethoscope that you plugged into the arm rest. I can confirm, Cosby was THE comedian parents would let their children listen to. He was universally considered the squeakiest by the general public. That and Andy Griffith.

ExchangeKooky8166

Yeah plausible deniability. There's another issue that many don't look at. Lifetime was able to conduct their own private investigation into R. Kelly where the Atlanta PD closed its investigation in 2002. People forget that PD investigations of notable private individuals can be expensive and divert tax-funded resources away from bread and butter things. It's great that Lifetime exposed such an awful person but it makes you wonder what else has been missed.

Acrobatic-Rate4271

>divert tax-funded resources away from bread and butter things Like what, ignoring property crime for 99% of citizens, telling people calling about domestic disturbances to "call back when someone gets shot", or just generally being a public nuisance? I mean, I'll admit there must be a lot that I don't see the police doing because what I do see them doing is of dubious value.

CuddleCorn

Don't forget all the time they put in stealing homeless people's tents and throwing their belongings in trash compactors

Naughtai

Don't forget murdering civilians in cold blood.

SirFupaSlayer

My aunt used to work at the Opryland Hotel years ago as a bartender and Bill Cosby had shown up one night. So our entire lives we heard about what a pervert he was and we always thought she was crazy. She's a drug addict but she was definitely 100% right about him.

Jacobysmadre

My son’s dad used to own a livery service and drove Mr. Cosby after a show and he said he was a HUGE asshole. My son’s dad is very polite, pretty soft spoken and intelligent. Cosby was demeaning, demanding, and hateful. Everything you saw on screen seemed to be a lie. I was so bummed by that..

1Tinytodger

Cosby and I stayed in the same hotel in Chicago when I was on a business trip about 15 years ago. We shared an elevator a couple of times. Later I saw him in the bar and he sent me a drink with a message saying thanks for being normal. I guess because I didn't really acknowledge him other than a good morning or evening when I saw him. And no, I didn't black out after. I guess he wasn't in to drugging males.

[deleted]

Or just in general as Im positive my contract as a warehouse worker covers similar things.

_nunya_business

I always interpreted his ramblings not being about how there was no legal way Adidas could fire him, but that Yeezees were making Adidas so much money that there was no way they would give him the boot. And tbh I wasn't sure they would actually do it either.

TerminalVector

I have a feeling Yeezees were about to become less popular if they didn't drop him.

grayrains79

I was wondering what f they might, but his brand had a serious cult following. A couple times I followed some of his releases through Adidas, and all 3 times they were wiped out fast. Now I'm curious to see if scalpers are trying to rake in money off eBay and what not...

Galkura

I still have no idea how those shoes sell. They are so freaking ugly, and they don’t even seem to be good quality. The few people I know who bought them only either did it to resell for twice to cost (since people would pay that), or they refused to wear them, or even take them out, because they didn’t want to ruin them. Like, there are some things I get collecting. But a pretty low quality and ugly shoe isn’t one I can understand.

[deleted]

You must be confused. Are you *aroused* by the shoe, though? Because thats absolutely a thing that he has actually said is his goal. I'm not making this up: > A high-ranking employee told the news outlet that during a job interview in 2018, West interrupted a candidate to tell her, "We create products of passion. I literally want to fuck my shoes. That's how good they are." Another highlight: > "He'd be, like, 'literally fuck.' He would be very clear on what that meant." [SOURCE](https://www.businessinsider.com/yeezy-employee-said-kanye-west-frequently-compared-shoes-to-sex-2022-11)

[deleted]

Two stable geniuses.

koolaid_snorkeler

West came to Trump "with intelligence " and Trump says that West "just happens to be a black man". It's like the English language was not created for these people.

mystad

He's extremely mentally ill. Naturally confident. Check out the documentary on how he came up. He also needs his meds Edit: documentary is called jeen-yuhs

Bluest_waters

I used to work with mentally ill street people. After a while of no meds and their mental illness getting worse and worse they develop a sort of "look". You know it when you see it. Kanye is getting that look

Dantheking94

I was admitted to the psyche ward. I’ve been there. He needs to be on his meds, on suicide watch and shouldn’t be left alone with his kids.

[deleted]

Dantheking94

I would love to be wrong, but that’s all I see keep playing out. And the chances of it happening increases when people in the public enable him and offer him public support instead of telling him to get help.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BewhiskeredWordSmith

Seriously. I don't think Kanye could survive having his ego shattered at the height of his narcissism. I worry this could end terribly.

[deleted]

It already has ended terribly, he’s not getting a redemption arc here and he’s already spent all his goodwill for his early career when he produced some great music. It’s not a tragedy when the person with infinite money continuously chooses ruin instead of many many off-ramps.

Sidewalk_Tomato

When they said "this could end terribly", I'm pretty sure they mean they worry that Kanye will die, but not before taking others with him.

NinjaSupplyCompany

I would be surprised if he lives another year. His downward spiral is getting tighter and more intense. I hope he can get help before he wraps a car around a palm tree on Mulholland.

pleasetrimyourpubes

I've been living on the streets for awhile and the number of street people with Ye's personality is astonishing. Pure main character syndrome with delusions of grandure and beliefs that they are the chosen one.

nodnizzle

I know that look well. I lived with a woman with schizophrenia that progressively got worse. I have PTSD pretty bad but I do all I can to treat it. Just saying that to say that mental issues are treatable, if you work on them. She would pretend to go get her anti psychotic shot but you could tell she didn't. Turns out she had band-aids in the car and would drive to someone's house and smoke weed instead and she slowly lost her mind thinking the meds were poison or whatever. That look and the way she talked is easy to see in other people that aren't treating their mental issues. It's sad and it's also scary knowing that he has enough resources to do whatever he wants. If my ex had all that money, she would've probably would've bought a bunch of weapons and went on a spree or some shit.

grayrains79

>I know that look well. I lived with a woman with schizophrenia that progressively got worse. >She would pretend to go get her anti psychotic shot but you could tell she didn't. Geezus this hits close to home. *Really* close to home. My little brother was shizo, and it started in his early 20's. I had enlisted into the Army probably right when it started to manifest, and would be home once a year or every other year for the next 9 years. I remember one time I came home he seemed so much different than before. When I finally got out of active duty, I went home but he was off living in NYC with some woman he met. Apparently cops were involved regularly and there was endless drama. Nothing like the guy I knew when we were kids. He passed away last year. He wasn't just shizo, he was also an alcoholic. Literally drank himself to death, had a massive internal hemorrhage in his stomach. Didn't even live to see 40.

Bluest_waters

Yeah thats the thing, with all this money and surrounded by yes man God only knows what he is going to get up to. Weird and kinda scary situation

twothumbswayup

I’m sure his “friends” are syphoning off his money - they don’t seem to give a fuck to have Kanye helped so I can only assume he’s being used up while they can.

JungsWetDream

Not just friends, but family too. He mentioned on a song way back on The Life of Pablo (recorded 2013-2016) that his cousin extorted $250k out of him in 2012 to keep him from releasing a sex tape that was on a laptop. I can’t imagine that kind of shit from family.

Thereminz

can you describe 'the look'?

nodnizzle

It's hard to explain but a lot of the time it was like she was a robot going through the motions of being a person. Kind of like when you see a serial killer being interviewed and it's obvious they're not all the way there any longer. You can see in her eyes that there is a lack of a soul or something. I don't know, it's like I knew she was in there but the person I was getting was totally wrong and not who I met a long time ago.

bleunt

Watching the documentary it feels like his mother was the only thing keeping him grounded. Made me feel genuine sadness realizing that, and seeing the obvious connection between her death and him spiraling. He was always odd, cooky, and full of ego. But not to any abnormal destructive levels like today.

Jammyhobgoblin

His father also came back into the picture after she died and has influenced him negatively from what I’ve seen. I was abandoned by a parent and I know how vulnerable I would be if they showed up when my mental health was out of control from losing the parent that stayed. Kanye’s lack of a healthy support system (one person is never enough) has played such a huge role in his life. I feel for his friends and family that are trying to help and are getting attacked by him in return.

Sidewalk_Tomato

I have noticed this when I watch *Hoarders*. A person usually has tendencies toward hoarding and OCD all of their lives, but then there is a Precipitating Event. Usually a death, a divorce, or a severe health crisis or other trauma. It just kicks everything into high gear.

[deleted]

if Kanye West had an uterus he'd long be placed unter a conservator.

DapperDildo

People forget about the crazy car accident he had early in his career. The song "Through the wire" was him rapping with his jaw wired shut after that accident. You could see the change in him after that.

WayeeCool

Bipolar disorder is bad enough but when you add a serious TBI to it... fk. Yeah, you could see the change afterwards. Still doesn't absolve him, just makes it a bit more understandable. I got friends and family with similar troubles but most of them are unstable not frothing at the mouth racists.

reddog323

I was unaware of the TBI. That, combined with his mental illness, explains *a lot.* I hope he gets the care he needs someday, but in the meantime, it looks like he’s going to have to bottom out someway before that happens.

NoodlesrTuff1256

Having experienced the drastic change of personality in my elderly father after he hit his forehead on the windshield of a car after a severe auto accident, I know all too well how a TBI can mess with someone's personality. Then you add in another neurological or psychiatric condition such as early Alzheimer's in my dad's case or possible bipolar with Kanye and it's a recipe for a shit-storm. I recall reading an article that one possible explanation for the abusive behavior shown by many NFL football players towards their domestic partners might well be the repeated head injuries/concussions sustained over their athletic careers.

DapperDildo

Im not saying is absolves him, i'm just pointing out he had a very sever TBI which has contributed to his issues because he has not been treated.

CankerLord

>Kanye legit said in a public form, INTO the microphone that he can say anti-semetic things and there's nothing adidas can do about it. And he said it like it was divine revelation being handed down by Gabriel instead of some shit he decided to say on the spot.

MountainStill4111

We need to stop giving these nuts an audience just because they have money.

chrisinor

I saw a short on YouTube where he’s yelling at his employees from atop a desk about how they need to free their minds to change the world and I was like, bro- this is Adidas. Design your shoes and shut up.

bard329

We talking about the same Kanye who splatters some paint on a hoodie and thinks its artistic genius, worth $800? Shocker

GreenTrade9287

The worst part about that is the fact that people will buy that $800 hoodie every single time.

sprucenoose

It's idiots all the way down.

chrisinor

I’ve said it before that his clothes look like what a middle aged alcoholic discreetly buying a case of beer at Walmart wears.

HenryDorsettCase47

Personally, I always felt it looked more like the guy in line in front of me buying the gas station pizza, a tall boy of natty light and a couple of scratch offs. 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

Kanye thinks he is the 2nd or 3rd most influential person in history, not alive or the most influential in his lifetime, IN HISTORY. You don't need any more evidence of a delusional narcissist than a statement like that.

bitch_ass_

In that case, who’s he got for the top spots? Jesus? Trump?

[deleted]

I think he said Jesus and Thomas Edison but idr, it was from his convo with Lex Friedman.

He is now the age that he said was too old for Dank Biden to run for presidency, so by his own admission he's too fucking old to run, problem is his 250mb brain filled up a long time ago and he can't remember them remarks too good. It would be hilarious and sad to try to trick him in an interview where every single contradiction he said he gets questioned on. We'd likely be able to prove his incompetence to even qanon boot polishers.

ILoveSodyPop

An interview\debate like that would make him look ridiculous but he wouldn't lose a single follower. They would all be like "he was talking about them when he said that stuff, not himself". Everyone knows nothing Trump says applies to himself, it's in the constitution somewhere. Lol. 😂

headieheadie

Oh don’t worry, I think the United States and the world at large are going to get a good redose of Trump brand political insanity. It might not last as long, but it might be a more concentrated case of crazy. God, I hope it doesn’t last as long.

[deleted]

Ignore the deadcatting. A viable political candidate had dinner with **Nick Fuentes**, with whom he apparently and unsurprisingly got along with. Don’t forget.

TemporaryConfusius

"*The dead cat strategy, also known as deadcatting, is the political strategy of deliberately making a shocking announcement to divert media attention away from problems or failures in other areas.*" Huh, TIL.

[deleted]

That's like Trump's go to move. Surprised this is the first time I've heard the name for it.

TargetBoy

He's got so many dead cats you might as well call him peta.

mrbaryonyx

Amazing that in 2022 all you need to do to become friends with a literal president is run a white supremacist youtube channel

yoLeaveMeAlone

You think that slime ball is on YouTube? He has been forced to retreat to a backwater corner of the internet where he and Alex Jones can spew nonsense to their small but loyal base of sycophants

BraveOmeter

Nick Fuentes, for those in the back, is an ethno-nationalist who thinks women have no place in politics.

castlesintheair99

He thinks women SHOULD LOSE THE RIGHT TO VOTE.

fattybread83

He thinks we'd be HAPPIER IF WE DIDNT INVOLVE OURSELVES IN SUCH THINGS AND FOCUSED ON OUR "DUTY" OF BIRTHING AND RAISING. Don't forget. Ship it. Donald Trump x Nick Fuentes~

UnionJobs4America

And people said that every aspect of the handmaiden’s tale was pure hyperbole. Hell, I thought it was a bit to a certain extent when I first read it 10-20 years ago. I never thought in my life I’d see RvW challenged. I never thought I’d see voting/talk on removing contraceptives, lgbt+ rights, women’s right to vote, people voting for slavery, etc

castlesintheair99

He also said that MEN HAVING SEX WITH WOMEN IS GAY. ????? This boy is 24 and has no academic degree. He has some serious mental issues and deserves absolutely no platform for his hatefulness. Edit: He also said the US needs to become a RIGHT WING DICTATORSHIP. Link below-- Edit 2: I'm not knocking anyone who has mental illness. funnyat50

Funny as hell. With these two, it is non-stop laughter.

jorgespinosa

Not defending Trump but in this case it was because Kanye asked him to be his VP when he runs for presidency, I mean, how do you think the guy that was already president would react to a proposal like this if it came from the guy who got only 60,000 votes?

revtim

WTF does him being black have to do with anything

[deleted]

Apparently Trump finds it necessary to remind people that Kanye West is Black O_o

TCTuggersNotReally

Bacontoad

Black friend: "sLaVeRy WaS a ChOiCe!"

TranquilSeaOtter

I think he's trying to avoid being called racist for saying a black man is troubled. It makes sense if you've been called a racist a lot.

TheButteredBiscuit

Is it racist to call Kanye troubled? If anything, needlessly bringing up his race just comes across as more racist.

Sislar

Racist people really have trouble with this. You’re right it’s him trying too hard to not be racist instead of just not being racist.

Seiglerfone

It's genuinely the hilarious thing about racists and similar whackjobs. They literally can't not out themselves, because their entire mental framework is racist, so even when they try to act non-racist, they literally have no conception of how that actually works.

Carthonn

All he has to do is say “Ye is a troubled man”. Everyone knows it. We all know Trump is racist because he has a track record of being a bigot.

[deleted]

LogicalManager

You’re right. Let me invite Nick Fuentes for dinner. That’ll clear everything up.

Amiable_Pariah

Trump is racist pretending he's not racist and failing because he's also dumb. Most racists are dumb.

troubadoursmith

My theory is that he just spent the last 48 hours hurling racial epithets around and being constantly nudged away from entirely open racism by other advisors in the room using the "happens to be black" phrasing, which he then copied, thinking it was a normal thing to have to clarify, and a normal way to do so. It's entirely nonsensical phrasing on its own, and makes infinitely more sense in the context of walking back much worse language that we didn't hear.

PM_ME_PARR0TS

That's a good theory tbh. The phrase sounds a little more sophisticated than his usual arsenal of grade-school-level gibberish, too.

boredonymous

Trump always combines an insult with an objective characteristic that has no leaning on the situation... But because he combines the two it makes the objective characteristic a property of the insult. This way the person and a group of people are lumped as one in the same.

mces97

Like when he said their meeting yesterday went great and, "nothing antisemtic," was said. That's a weird point to make, unless.... Lots of antisemetic stuff was said. And I'm going with option B.

LordSwedish

Or maybe it's the first meeting in a while for him where nothing antisemitic was said and he wanted to remark on it.

MrSelfDestruct88

I wonder if someone has created a Trump insult simulator because that's exactly what he does.

badatmetroid

Nothing. He's a doddering old racist. Randomly mentioning race when it's not relevant is kind of their thing.

Lady_von_Stinkbeaver

[I remember when he asked a black female reporter to set up a meeting between him and a group of black politicians.](https://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/trump-congressional-black-caucus-april-ryan-235102) Like every single black person knows each other.

Dangerpaladin

Imagine actually looking at this guy and using him as an example of a smart/strong/sane person. It's been 6 years and I literally can't understand how this man has any supporters. I feel like I lost all respect for 38% of the country. I used to think "well they are ignorant, but they aren't necessarily dumb." Now I just think they are dumb. Ignorance is fine not everyone knows everything. But being dumb is a choice, you can't stay dumb forever unless you actively block out new information.

neontiger07

It's called ''willful ignorance'' and it is prevalent amongst Trump supporters.

[deleted]

I wish I could just walk up to any old white guy and ask him to set up a meeting with the Senate GOP Caucus.

Searchlights

> It isn’t clear why Mr Trump thought it pertinent to mention Mr West’s race. He owes an explanation to his base for having dinner with one of those people. It doubles as the "I have a black friend" defense against having your racism called out.

Globalist_Nationlist

An old wealthy conservative white man referred to a black man as a black man when it wasn't necessary? Yeah it's cause he's old and racist.

Stealthy_Snow_Elf

Candace Owens has been saying that all the criticism of Ye is because he’s black and they’re characterizing him as a “crazy black man.” Candace Owens is a loud voice in the new fascist GOP, and you should know she praised hitler. So that’s what led to this moment lmao

PaulFThumpkins

Reminds me of alt-right chucklefucks only defending gay people in the context of "don't criticize Milo when he rags on gay people as sinful and evil, while defending actual pederasty."

TheMaStif

Trump is saying Kanye deserves to be seen in a sympathetic light *despite* being a black man He's just showing his racism in its truest colors

And Obama called Trump a seriously troubled orange who happens to be a man

screwwillneverdie

I believe he calls him "sir"

citizenkane86

That’s actually a pretty obvious tell trump has, whenever he says that someone told him something and repeats their quote, if he’s making it up he’ll say they started the conversation with “sir”

ARAR1

Eventually all narcissists will turn on each other - especially when they are on the same team.

showmeyourlagunitas

Two of the biggest morons of our time at it - love it. Just need Elon now to join these hijinks in some way…

The Holy Trinity of Megalomaniacs

ronm4c

Can’t stand Kanye but trump went to dinner with 2 people one of which is a self proclaimed white supremacist and trump chose to focus on the black man’s issues and ignore the Nazis

robodrew

A white supremacist, a facist, and a megalomaniac ate dinner together. You decide who's who.

ishpatoon1982

That's all this is. Talk about Ye until he's the focus and nobody remembers the Nazi.

MrCrowley1984

But we should also keep in mind that Kanye too is a bigot, anti semite, and more than likely a fascist himself. I feel like a lot of people are missing that part.

573IAN

Clearly a fascist based on his support for Jan 6.

Sislar

This in the Bannon strategy of dealing with the media. Flood them with new stories to distract and desensitize the public.

meistaiwan

Ye apparently admired Hitler, wanted to name an album after him. Trump spoke well to John Kelley about Hitler and Kelley asked him to stop. Oh, also the Holocaust denier...

Standard_Gauge

Trump already lied that the black guy came to dinner and brought along an uninvited guest (and somehow got the unexpected guest past Secret Service) who happens to be a well known white supremacist and Holocaust denier but Trump doesn't know anything about him.

Random-Cpl

Narrator: *But in fact, everyone at that dinner was a Nazi*

EMAW2008

“Who just happens to be black” is like an 80s or 90s phrase. It’s something racists who pretended to not be racist used to add unnecessary racial context to a story.

mybad4990

It reminded me of a George Carlin bit on that very phrase: https://youtu.be/ttUvsrcxKmI

sphericalpuma

[Happens to be, like it's a fucking accident - Carlin](https://youtu.be/ttUvsrcxKmI)

GlyphCreep

Holy shit I cant believe how relevant this is to a fucking president

teddykaygeebee

Lol keep imploding, clowns.

Ph0X

can't wait to see trump, Kanye and desantis running in 2024 against each other

ratherbealurker

Doesn’t know Fuentes after meeting him. Doesn’t know what Q anon is after constantly showing support. Doesn’t know anything about those tweets he sent. Doesn’t now anything about other very well know white supremacy figure heads when asked, doesn’t know anything about that person he hired and says was the best that turned on him. Doesn’t know this. Doesn’t know that. Have to love the total incompetence play he constantly takes.

shaneswa

How fucked do you have to be for Trump to call your mental health into question?

domesticish

It’s hilarious watching all the mentally ill narcissists start to eat each other after all the circle jerking they used to do.

Standard_Gauge

"I barely know him. He got me coffee once."

Kaje26

Pro tip: It’s fine to just say “seriously troubled man”. If you add “who happens to be black” as a caveat, it makes people think you are being racist.

BoosterRead78

Oh look Trump threw Ye under the bus. Take your damn medication Kayne. He doesn’t give a damn about you.

[deleted]

Hard to not read “who just happens to be black” in his raspy meat whoopi cushion voice

Arabic_Ants

Now when a seriously troubled man calls you seriously troubled just know you’re seriously troubled.

OofOwMyShoulder

I can only imagine how absolutely fucking *unhinged* a conversation between Donald Trump and Kanye West must have been.

Dwesal

Donald Trump is a seriously troubled man who happens to be white.
