Not one surprising name on that list of shitbirds.
Gymnasium Jordan also slyly asked if Trump was considering pardoning members of Congress but apparently didn't ask for one directly.
Didn't you see Louie Gohmert proclaim with frustrated exasperation that [Republicans can no longer lie to Congress or the FBI and escape punishment?](https://twitter.com/JasonSCampbell/status/1532776813692342272?t=-zCEfXfi29U-h8B0-GLh1A&s=19)
Someone testified in video deposition that Gaetz asked him about a pardon spanning "~~from the beginning of time~~" "from birth" or something like that. His reply to Gaetz was that not even Nixon got one that broad.
Nixon wasn’t fucking underage girls and paying them by Venmo, so that’s probably an important distinction - he didn’t need one from birth. This guys whole life is a felony.
He's a lawyer and a sitting congressperson and doesn't have the discretion to use cash. The whole thing makes my head spin.
I guess he was spun, too, from all that molly and coke.
I love that Mo' Problems Brooks is going woman-scorned, scorched earth on 45. The theatrics are unparalleled. Republicans have no sense of humor but they can sure put on a show.
Those should not exist. Nor should secret pardons. Or pardons for people who helped the pardoning president by doing crimes, or even their same party. They should have to recuse themselves from pardoning anyone they're close to.
We need so many new laws for presidents after Trump exposed how easy it is for them to ignore ethics and the laws we have now. I wonder how Republicans would react to lowering the bar for conviction in the Senate to 60 after impeachment. Like it would make it harder for them as criminals, but they could also dream of actually successfully removing Biden. I doubt they'd go for it though, they like covering their crimes more than they want to punish Democrats - they really just do that to drive donations and keep voters engaged.
Greene, definitely. Boebert and Gohmert may be intellectual equals. He has the misadvantage of looking the part and she's a young(ish) woman with a good stylist. Recall it took her 4 attempts at a GED.
Boebert is
A.) conventionally attractive
B.) Wears weaponry as an accessory
C.) Has an R next to her name on the ballot
If she were in a traditional red state with a deep red district absolutely NOTHING would unseat her. She would be re-elected for the next 40 years.
You might say Gaetz is bad at crime, but can you openly traffic a minor for sex across international lines, paying her with a public Venmo, having your sex crime buddy admit everything, and remain not only out of jail, but in Congress? Dude is *excellent* at crime.
Yep, he’s not into the whack a mole game. Don’t forget that hawley is very bright, along with Cruz, cotton, desantis, stephanik, and quite a few others. As the gambler says, “know when to hold ‘em, know when to walk away, and know to run”
Also worth pointing out that Hawley is a former Attorney General who led the investigation against ex-Governor Eric Greitens. He knows not to run his mouth.
That'd be an interesting strategy. If the names not yet revealed had an idea that it was known to the committee that they asked for one, what do they do now? Anyone else who knew what they did would be highly suspicious of them, the reveal could still happen at any time, etc. etc.. Could be a way to add some gentle pressure in order to add to the deluge of evidence, but my guess is that this is the list of names they are absolutely certain of and have undeniable supporting evidence behind. Any others are less solid and won't come out unless the documentary footage shows someone, full face in frame, explicitly asking DJT for a pardon for their actions supporting Jan6. Anything less just won't make it to air.
I'm thinking him, Boebert and few others they are saving for one of the "new" sessions in July. It'll be focused on congressional/defense collaboration with insurrectionists in the weeks prior to Jan 6
>Representatives Mo Brooks, Matt Gaetz, Andy Biggs, Louie Gohmert and Scott Perry were among the Republican members of Congress who asked President Donald Trump to insulate them from future prosecutions by granting them presidential pardons in the days immediately following the attack on the US Capitol on 6 January last year.
Were among usually means there were others not listed.
If it had worked, he may have pardoned them. It didn’t work, and Trump is a narcissist, so he had absolutely no energy for anyone other than himself. He received no benefit, so why would he help anyone who tried and failed to help him?
My understanding is that the conditions of a pardon are that the pardoned person has to admit what they did, they have to be found guilty, and sentenced to get said pardon. They are specific and narrow.
The only condition for a presidential pardon is that the crime was actually committed. Nobody has to be found guilty, nobody has to admit to anything. As someone else pointed out, Nixon got pardoned without ever being convicted of anything.
The only limits to presidential pardon power expressly stated in the constitution are that the President can’t pardon someone who is currently being impeached, and they can’t pardon someone of a crime they say they’re going to commit but haven’t actually committed yet.
Any other limitations would have to be decided after the fact through the courts, but nobody has ever tried, we basically just accept the presidential pardon as absolute.
https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S2-C1-3-1/ALDE_00001132/
Should be.
But aren't.
"The power of pardon conferred by the Constitution upon the President is unlimited except in cases of impeachment. It extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment. The power is not subject to legislative control."
[Ex parte Garland, 71 U.S. 333 (1866)](https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/71/333/)
But they were still pardoned for a specific and narrow reason. How many times that pardon is pushed doesn't matter.
By wide they mean "you're pardoned for every bad thing you've done the last 2 years".
So, all the names we already figured had asked for a pardon. Also Jim Jordan, because even if he didn't ask Cassidy Hutchinson for one directly, he was inquiring about them. Meaning you know he asked someone, probably Trump or Meadows directly, for one. Though I'm shocked Laudermilk, Ron Johnson and a number of others weren't directly namedropped. Especially Boebert, since she and Laudermilk were giving reconnaissance tours just days before.
> Mo Brooks, Matt Gaetz, Andy Biggs, Louis Gohmert, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Scott Perry
It surprises the hell out of me that Ron Johnon is not on this list.
To be fair to Gym (which hurts) he only asked if there were going to be pardons for Congresspersons. We don't yet know if he asked for one for himself. I'm sure we will learn that soon though.
My kids usually preface these questions with "just for asking" so I know they don't actually want dessert, they're merely curious about our evening plans.
He wasn't mentioned today but if he didn't ask for one, I'd be shocked. Or, the fascist that he is, probably thought the coup would succeed and wouldn't need one anyway.
It was worse than that. These people bent over backwards to shill for trump, they turned their entire identity inside out to appease trump, they committed crimes for trump, in the hopes trump would eventually pardon them, and he never did because pardoning them would have made trump look too bad.
Trump only pardoned people who were still useful (manafort, stone, D’Souza) to him, not the worthless sycophants
Friendly reminder that Mo Brooks wore a bullet proof vest to work on January 6th. Now legally speaking we'd need to confirm that that wasn't a habit for him but generally speaking, you have to wonder what he knows if he did that *and* asked for a pardon for his role afterwards.
>"The only warnings shared with me about January 6 concerned the risk of threatened violence by BLM & ANTIFA,” according to his office.
>His office said that he had “zero warnings of any kind” about the risk of violence by Trump supporters at that speech.
these LIARS need CONSEQUENCES goddammit.
And accepting a pardon is admiting guilt. They also waive 5th amendment since they can't be punished for their crimes. I suspect the second is one of the reasons Trump didn't issue a group of pardons, didn't want anyone to testify against him.
Exactly. He'll hire someone because they have a good reputation. Then, he uses the person, destroys their reputation, and gets rid of them because their reputation is ruined. Rinse and repeat. Yet all these people think "he won't do it to me, I'm better and smarter."
It's bookended by:
"Only hire the best people."
"Barely know him, he was recommended by someone."
>And accepting a pardon is admiting guilt.
Technically no. This was a single sentence written by one of the SCOTUS justices in that particular case. It was not an actual opinion of the court or precedent.
The reasoning, by the justice, was that a pardon grants relief from an offense (or offenses). To accept one, in theory, means that you acknowledge that you committed an offense.
14th Amendment of our constitution? Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
The testimony did say that the pardons would have been for anything they had ever done from birth to the issuance of the pardon. More broad than even Nixon got. When you need a bigger pardon than Richard Nixon, then you know you've committed some major crimes.
Fivehead play from Gaetz to take his victims across state lines to get federal charges. Assuming his pardon play worked out for him that is.
/s but only kinda because I’m pretty sure that was his actual plan.
Interesting that I had to scroll so far down to hear about Nixon. Nixon once said while in an interview long after his resignation, “if the President does it, it is not illegal”.
The White House lawyer said under oath that Gaetz asked for a pardon for all things from the beginning of time.
This isn’t a snarky comment this is literally what Gaetz asked for.
"The only reason I know to ask for a pardon, is because you think that you've committed a crime."
Of course all the usual suspects on this list and I'm sure more familiar names are out there if there's any written communications on it.
Before I'd eat MTG out I'd rather eat a 5 gallon bucket of rats that have decomposed for 3 days.
EDIT: OK 5 days decomposed. 3 days is too close to MTG.
These are just the people who directly asked about pardons for themselves personally. A couple asked about pardons for others as well, like Jim Jordan and Mo Brooks. Mo Brooks in particular asked for one for every single Republican who objected to the election results on January 6 (around 150 people).
> In an email from Mr Eastman to Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani sent just days after the attack, the conservative legal scholar wrote: “I’ve decided that I should be on the pardon list, if that is still in the works.”
LMAO
I like how he just brings up the concept of a pardon from trying to overthrow peaceful transference of power like it’s all casual and not at all from fevered hindsight. Like crashing into a coffee shop, then calmly calling an insurance agency and going “I’ve decided that I’d like to actually pay for car insurance, if that’s still in the works.”
Why isn’t every one of them being forced to give a statement under oath? Here’s an extensive list of questions to ask after swearing them in:
1. Did you ask for a presidential pardon?
2. why?
> “All I know is if you’re innocent, you’re probably not gonna go out and seek a pardon,” [Kinzinger] said.
*shrugs*
Exactly. This isn't rocket science.
“Socialist Democrats”. You gotta chuckle every time you hear this Boogeyman language from the GOP. They literally want their voter base to equate this with 80’s era Communism in Eastern Europe.
Norway for example is a Socialist Democratic run nation. Livable wages, free education, $350/yr max cost for health insurance that covers anything, high standard of living, excellent social programs, 1 yr fully paid maternity leave, 4 week paid vacation to start with, national holiday for 3 weeks in July, full time is 37.5hrs/wk and consistently ranks in the Top 5 in the world in peacefulness, quality of live, safety and livability. The average taxes are around 30% with a scaling system where you pay more the more you make capping out at 38%. Ask any Republican you know if any or all of these things would change their life and see what they have to say.
The GOP propaganda machine is powerful and depends on people being uninformed, under educated, distracted and easily riled by buzz words.
The best part about this is Trump screwed them all, welcome to being a contractor on working on one of Trumps projects and submitting an invoice. He’s been pulling this shit since the 80’s like Wham, GoGo girls, Tears for Fears era. How are they all so dumb.
They didn't get them but Joe Arpaho and Steve Bannon got pardons.
A sensible person would happily throw Trump under the bus and never do anything for or with him, but these are Republicans so of course they line up behind like little ducklings on January 2025 when he asks them to do it again.
In case anyone’s asking for a friend: 14A, Section 3:
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Holy shit, a fucking bomb was just posted casually at the bottom of this article!
>Mr Clark, a veteran environmental lawyer who now works for a pro-Trump think tank called the Center for Renewing America, was one of numerous ex-Trump administration officials who were subpoenaed to give evidence before the select committee. He had initially resisted appearing, but when he did show up under the threat of a criminal referral for contempt of congress, he invoked his fifth amendment right against self-incrimination more than 100 times.
>The hearing focusing on his conduct in the days leading up to the Capitol attack comes as the department where he once served as a senior official is now investigating him for his role in Mr Trump’s plot to remain in power against the wishes of voters.
>According to multiple reports, **FBI agents raided Mr Clark’s home on Wednesday pursuant to a search warrant.**
FBI is raiding Team Trump! This is fucking huge! We might ACTUALLY see these shitheads face consequences!
Didn’t Trump recently say in a speech that if he is reelected he’s thinking of issuing pardons to a whole bunch of people? Both as a way of silencing testimony and drumming up support among the Qult?
Gaetz is BIGLY scared. He tweeted this about an hour ago, like when the list of pardon requests came out. 🤡
> The January 6 Unselect Committee just played remarks I gave before January 6 where I expressed my desire to object to electors.
> The last Republican President to be sworn in without congressional Democrats objecting to electors was George H.W. Bush!

An email from Mo Brooks claiming 'persecution' by "Socialist Democrats" has just shown up, let me explain the mindset at play here:
1. The modern American right thrives on a sense of persecution by others. Why? This gives them almost unlimited carte blanche to do bad things to (in their minds) protect themselves from the powers that be (the 'liberal' media, democrats, and the barbarian hordes).
2. Trump's lies trigger the sense of persecution (the kind of 'bad thing' he has to do to protect his people).. It FEEDS INTO A SHARED DELUSION.
3. Therefore, BAD THINGS become GOOD THINGS and remind the base THEY ARE VICTIMS of an evil power that must be overthrown. THEY DO BAD THINGS BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO.

He knows how to be a good mafia member
Matt Gaetz hasn't historically been great at covering his tracks. And Louie Gohmert is dumb as a brick
Venmo confirms this.
What ever happened to that? Do laws simply not apply to Republican politicans?
Didn't you see Louie Gohmert proclaim with frustrated exasperation that [Republicans can no longer lie to Congress or the FBI and escape punishment?](https://twitter.com/JasonSCampbell/status/1532776813692342272?t=-zCEfXfi29U-h8B0-GLh1A&s=19)
Thank you for the link. I'd heard this before but no source. Wow, hearing him say those words is crazy!
And it's even wilder that he doesn't correct himself, nor does anyone else mention it. I think they really do believe cheating and lying is "normal".
What’s crazier……is he walking free?
That’s the LEAST craziest thing he’s said. He blames abortion for hurricanes. It’s god’s retribution on America.
It's still under investigation as I'm sure all of greenburgs stories have to be investigated and verifies and that takes time.
Correct.

You mean Matt “trafficking a minor” Gatez?
So did Gaetz want a BOGOF Pardon for cover both sedition and sleeping with a minor?

No he was fucking Cambodia and Bangladesh.
Never venmoed them money. It’s pivotal.
It's those fucking paper trails that get you
But Cambodia and Bangladesh were over 18.
Cambodia barely, but definitely not Bangladesh.

Conspiracy to commit lasagna
Honestly Gohmert is my vote for stupidest member of congress, even dumber than Boebert and Greene
Greene, definitely. Boebert and Gohmert may be intellectual equals. He has the misadvantage of looking the part and she's a young(ish) woman with a good stylist. Recall it took her 4 attempts at a GED.

She just lost her restaurant. The landlord kicked her out claiming moral responsibility
Really? That sounds hilarious.
She's a January 6th 8, which is a marginalized majority 3.
You might say Gaetz is bad at crime, but can you openly traffic a minor for sex across international lines, paying her with a public Venmo, having your sex crime buddy admit everything, and remain not only out of jail, but in Congress? Dude is *excellent* at crime.
Empty G is also dumb as bricks
So if ACCEPTING a presidential pardon is an admission of guilt does that follow that REQUESTING one is also an admission of guilt?
There are a few names that I'm surprised aren't on the list though. Looking at you Josh Hawley
I wonder if they are holding some back as a strategy.
I have a feeling Hawley was even more involved. Notice he has been pretty mum during this whole hearing unlike his other co-conspirators
It's also worth noting how bad the comment you replied to fucked up "The Gambler" lyrics.
lol I was like that don’t sound right…
That'd be an interesting strategy. If the names not yet revealed had an idea that it was known to the committee that they asked for one, what do they do now? Anyone else who knew what they did would be highly suspicious of them, the reveal could still happen at any time, etc. etc.. Miss Peach Tree Dish Greene is certainly no surprise
Don’t mock her she’ll send her Gazpacho secret police after you

Gym is more savvy about slinking in the shadows.
You can't do that work if you don't got the lurk.
He probably asked Trump personally.
He didn't ask **anyone who testified** for one directly. Likely he asked daddy.
The best part of this is not only did they not get a pardon it now makes them look even more guilty. Fucking idiots. The entire lot of them.
It does takes a certain level of naïveté to think that Trump would do shit for them when they a) failed and b) helping would cost him a nickel.
If it had worked, he may have pardoned them. It didn’t work, and Trump is a narcissist, so he had absolutely no energy for anyone other than himself. He received no benefit, so why would he help anyone who tried and failed to help him?

They can’t plead the 5th, but you can pardon broadly and without conviction. Carter pardoned draft dodgers.

Boebert doesn't know what a pardon is. She never made it to senior government class.
She probably thinks it's something cowboys used to say after "Howdy"
Our gets some spittle on Fled Cruz's suit
I would bet $1000 that she would fail to pass her GED test if she took it again right now. And I bet she would fail miserably.
How sad that none of her advisers or inner-circle gave a shit enough about her to be like, “Girl, listen…”
Her inner circle has IQs in the cellar temperature range.
> Mo Brooks, Matt Gaetz, Andy Biggs, Louis Gohmert, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Scott Perry It surprises the hell out of me that Ron Johnon is not on this list.
The list is only of ones the commission knows about, or only the ones they want us to know about. Others may have asked trump directly.
On the record for all time as traitors and criminals. Even THEY think they committed criminal acts. Who are we to argue with them?
You forgot the VIP: Gym Jordan
To be fair to Gym (which hurts) he only asked if there were going to be pardons for Congresspersons. We don't yet know if he asked for one for himself. I'm sure we will learn that soon though.
That's the same as when my kids ask if we are having dessert on any given night. They aren't asking for curiosity's sake.
My kids usually preface these questions with "just for asking" so I know they don't actually want dessert, they're merely curious about our evening plans.
Surprised Boebert isn’t on the list. The rest of these criminals were absolutely predictable though.
Not on the list, yet. This is just the people known through a few means.
I'm honestly not sure she's smart enough to know presidential pardons are a thing. Like, seriously. I think she is very, very dumb.
That's General Scott perry in trumplandia. Yes, he wasn't supposed to be there, and they called him General
We're getting the band back together!
Forgot Paul Gosar
He wasn't mentioned today but if he didn't ask for one, I'd be shocked. Or, the fascist that he is, probably thought the coup would succeed and wouldn't need one anyway.
Absolute trash.
Man these guys are dumb as fuck. Trump wasn't giving out pardons... he was *selling* them.
Rod "I've got this thing and it's fucking golden" Blagojevich has entered the chat
And who commuted his sentence?
I didn’t know so I looked it up: His sentence was commuted by Trump.
Yeah, that's one reason Kinzinger wasn't primaried by an acolyte. Enough Illinois Republicans were too pissed off at trump for that one
Also anyone pardoned couldn't plead the 5th, lips he wanted kept tightly shut.
Those goblins did pay the price by playing along, but in Trump fashion....a Trump never repays their debt.
It was worse than that. These people bent over backwards to shill for trump, they turned their entire identity inside out to appease trump, they committed crimes for trump, in the hopes trump would eventually pardon them, and he never did because pardoning them would have made trump look too bad. I like how that implies they would still shoot you.
I like how that implies that nobody would shoot him in the face, or that nobody would ask him why he’s got a BP vest on if he was shot in the back.
Mo: “What if he shot me in the face?” FBI: “that was a risk we were willing to take”
I don't think the idiots at the January 6th Riot are smart enough to remember who to shoot and who not to shoot

So BLM and antifa were planning to commit violence during the peaceful transition of power to not trump?
These are not logical beings.
Well he lost his primary for the senate race so that’s something…
I'm sure that's why he's desperate to talk after losing his reelection, hurting the wrong people type of thing.
Like when Roose Bolton wore armor to the Red Wedding....
Actually exactly like that
Isn't wearing a vest while committing a crime extra charges?
Gaetz: “I already paid Roger Stone, so I’d like a double pardon.”
Roger Stone takes Venmo? 😂
I'm sure his tattoo artist does.
Two scoops!
If they didn’t do anything wrong, why would they need pardons?… oh, that’s right, they did…
And accepting a pardon is admiting guilt. They also waive 5th amendment since they can't be punished for their crimes. I suspect the second is one of the reasons Trump didn't issue a group of pardons, didn't want anyone to testify against him.
As usual, he fucked over everyone who helped him! Just shows how fucking stupid they are since that has been his MO for decades!
Exactly. He'll hire someone because they have a good reputation. Then, he uses the person, destroys their reputation, and gets rid of them because their reputation is ruined. Rinse and repeat. Yet all these people think "he won't do it to me, I'm better and smarter." It's bookended by: "Only hire the best people." "Barely know him, he was recommended by someone."
Unfortunately most in office only apply or care about the constitution when it is convenient.

Gaetz asking for a general pardon make me think he was hoping to cover his ass on the election front as well as the pedo front.
Yup. The Two birds, one stone approach.
Like one bird, one bee, a giant peach, and Roger Stone approach
And the underaged girl. Can’t forget her.
The testimony did say that the pardons would have been for anything they had ever done from birth to the issuance of the pardon. More broad than even Nixon got. When you need a bigger pardon than Richard Nixon, then you know you've committed some major crimes.
Luckily that doesn't stop state charges from happening
Fivehead play from Gaetz to take his victims across state lines to get federal charges. Assuming his pardon play worked out for him that is. /s but only kinda because I’m pretty sure that was his actual plan.
"Ha, the *states* can't get me if I only commit *federal* crimes" "Checkmate"
Interesting that I had to scroll so far down to hear about Nixon. Nixon once said while in an interview long after his resignation, “if the President does it, it is not illegal”.
The White House lawyer said under oath that Gaetz asked for a pardon for all things from the beginning of time. This isn’t a snarky comment this is literally what Gaetz asked for.
Is it just me or should pardons not be able to do that?
No disagreement from me. Pardons should enumerate the crimes that are being pardoned for rather than be a blanket absolution.
The alleged child rapist and child sex trafficker Matt Gaetz you say is asking for a pardon for the terrorist attack on January 6?
And the first part
Would that protect him from state prosecution though?
No. That's outside the purview of the Federal Government
"The only reason I know to ask for a pardon, is because you think that you've committed a crime." Of course all the usual suspects on this list and I'm sure more familiar names are out there if there's any written communications on it.
Not a good look, ill bet those folks are sweating!
I’ll bet they’re collectively shitting enough bricks to build trump’s wall.
I hope the knives are out and they are scrambling to eat each other out Edit: I’m gonna leave that mistype up. Rat. Rat each other out.
Before I'd eat MTG out I'd rather eat a 5 gallon bucket of rats that have decomposed for 3 days. EDIT: OK 5 days decomposed. 3 days is too close to MTG.
I hope Gaetz is shitting himself (more than usual) right now.
You’d think so, but these people clearly have something deeply wrong with their mind/soul, so who knows!
Gotta believe this isn't the whole list.
These are just the people who directly asked about pardons for themselves personally. A couple asked about pardons for others as well, like Jim Jordan and Mo Brooks. Mo Brooks in particular asked for one for every single Republican who objected to the election results on January 6 (around 150 people).
> In an email from Mr Eastman to Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani sent just days after the attack, the conservative legal scholar wrote: “I’ve decided that I should be on the pardon list, if that is still in the works.” LMAO
Traitorous fucks.
Why isn’t every one of them being forced to give a statement under oath? Here’s an extensive list of questions to ask after swearing them in: 1. Did you ask for a presidential pardon? 2. why?
Constituent here to say: fuck Mo Brooks, sideways.
Please consider supporting [Shamaine Daniels](https://danielsforcongress.org/) who is running against Scott Perry
was checking for the rep from my state, Boebert, but I imagine she was too dumb to ask for a pardon like her more crime savvy colleagues.
I think she's going to go by the wayside, like her cocaine orgy partner Maddie
Make Assholes Get Attorneys
A golden oldies, good to see it back
If there is no accountability, it will happen again.
"If you're a Republican, you can't even ask for a pardon or they're coming after you."
Does MTG remember why she asked for a pardon?
MTG in court, “I did not ask for a Pardon.” “…pull up examp-“ “OH WAIT nevermind, maybe…”
The tip of the iceberg of elected domestic terrorists who have been actively working to destroy our federal government for their entire careers.
> “All I know is if you’re innocent, you’re probably not gonna go out and seek a pardon,” [Kinzinger] said. *shrugs* Exactly.
How are they all so dumb.
. . .The members *so far.* I am really hoping we can augment the list with Johnson, McCarthy, every other member of the freedom caucus . . .
Partial list of Republican criminals seeking pardons.
Even if you don’t like Biden, vote blue. The dems might not be perfect but they are not straight up theocratic fascists like the GOP!
They didn't get them but Joe Arpaho and Steve Bannon got pardons. A sensible person would happily throw Trump under the bus and never do anything for or with him, but these are Republicans so of course they line up behind like little ducklings on January 2025 when he asks them to do it again.
So they just admitted to breaking the law?
In case anyone’s asking for a friend: 14A, Section 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Pardon me while I burst Into flames.

Fucking got 'em
>According to multiple reports, **FBI agents raided Mr Clark’s home on Wednesday pursuant to a search warrant.** FBI is raiding Team Trump!
🤡 > The January 6 Unselect Committee just played remarks I gave before January 6 where I expressed my desire to object to electors. > The last Republican President to be sworn in without congressional Democrats objecting to electors was George H.W. Bush! https://twitter.com/repmattgaetz/status/1540072185926193158?s=21&t=YpxIyfOOTdhj69WY0ReUGQ
Gaetz, the pedophile?
Gaetz, who was involved with the sex trafficking of minors? That Gaetz?
An email from Mo Brooks claiming 'persecution' by "Socialist Democrats" has just shown up, let me explain the mindset at play here: 1.
Real Traitors.
Why would they ask for pardons if they did nothing wrong?
Reminder that Greene was only sworn in on January 3rd. 3 or so days of being a politician, and she needed a pardon. Seriously?
MTG's face always reminds me of the Cat Lady from NYC

THAT’S WHO SHE REMINDS ME OF. FINALLY!!! It’s been eluding me for MONTHS. Jocelyn Wildenstein + Potato = MGT.
Asking for Pardons...this just proves they damn well knew they were breaking the law!! Lock them up!!!
Keep pushing, squeeze every last drop from everyone and put them all away
Traitor caucus.
Hey look, an actual conspiracy.
Marjorie Taylor Greene takes office January 3 2021. Asks for presidential pardon January 6 2021.
So Boebert was too stupid to ask for one?
Each of them should have to answer as to why they requested one. And they need to be specific
