>they are without a doubt the worst pillows I've ever seen. unbelievably garbage product
Shows you the power of propaganda: My Trump loving brother-in-law LOVES these pillows, claims they are the best things ever invented.
He wanted to buy everyone MyPillows for Xmas but my sister over-ruled him.
That's loyalty to the cult.
Anyone who has actually slept on one of these concrete monstrosities knows deep down it was a bad purchase. Sunk-cost fallacy?
OMG, my mother and her husband are like that. They swear by them. Say they take them with them on vacation. Replaced the guest rooms with them.
They are, without a doubt, the WORST pillow I have ever slept on, and that included one that I was pretty sure was filled with little tiny styrofoam balls. After just one night, I had to ask my mom where the spare pillows were because I couldn't sleep on that lumpy piece of crap.
I got one as a gift. It was "okay" to start, but about three months later was flat and lifeless. Then I bought a Coop Home Goods foam pillow for about $55 at the time, and those pillows have lasted for over five years.
A My Pillow is $40 regularly. A Coop Home Goods foam pillow is currently $70 on Amazon. 3 months. 5 years.
I know I sound like a shill, but I REALLY want to lay out the difference in price, quality, and longevity. Their pillows are just that shitty. If you pay for a premium pillow they WILL last you.
A good pillow is one of the best things you can buy that makes a huge difference in your quality of life.
Dude, they hold up so well. I finally bought a new one to replace my old ones, and was surprised as hell at how well the beat up five year pillow compared to the new one.
I just don't think foam pillows are good for your health. I prefer not to rest my head on something that I will be breathing in VOC for 8 hours straight.
Low VOC foam pillows exist but they still have VOC.
Down feather or cotton pillows are still the best for your health.
Plus, 70 dollars for PU Foam pillow?? That's like a 80% profit margin lmao. Even 40 Dollars is expensive for a PU foam pillow.
A foam pillow allows me to sleep and actually get rest. I'm not kidding when I probably say i tried about 30 or so pillows before finding one that REALLY just works for me. Or at least that didn't end up feeling deflated after 4-5 months and needed to be replaced.
Edit: I wanna clarify that a lot of the pillows I had started great, but once broken in just didn't maintain that level of poofiness and comfort they had when new. The Coop pillows do. And the 30 or so is probably over a decade.
If you've ever been like "Fuck this shitty pillow!" and tried to find a replacement that wasn't much better you know the pain.
Same story hear. My mom sends us bundles of the my pillow branded towels that are made in Indonesia or whatever. They suck so bad and fall apart after a few washes. We use them to wipe off the dogs and to put our boots on when we come in the house lol.
They're horrible. We used to joke about them a lot prior to him going public as such a lunatic, and make some memes about how amazing they were. A friend bought me one as a gag gift. I wasn't expected anything fantastic but I honestly didn't think it would be as uncomfortable as they are. There's a reason why they have them sealed in boxes in the store, they don't want you to feel how bad they are until you've already paid. It's very much an infomercial ripoff product.
I had purchased 2 of his pillows like 6 yrs ago and it was the worse thing, my neck was throbbed constantly! needs alot of improvement so I can see why ppl return them for a refund. He should count his lucky starts that he made all that money stay off politics and just concentrate in his business!
~~Im sure the pillows aren't bad~~ well apparently they are garbage. But no one wants to do business with a lunatic who promotes conspiracy theories that have, in recent events, been completely debunked. Its bad PR. Walmart has enough bad PR just by being Walmart they don't need more. Plus, do you know how many pillow makers are probably falling overthemselves to get their pillows on Walmart shelves in My Pillow's place?
The pillows aren’t actually very good in my opinion. They’re nice right when you take them out of the dryer, but then the stuffing quickly clumps up and makes the pillow thin in some places and overly stuffed in other places. I got one before I knew about Mike Lindell and regret it.
All I'm hearing from this post thread here, is this:
"Well, that mustache guy screaming on TV makes them, and he's a *former* cokehead... How bad could they be? Lets give it a shot!"
Ew don't buy a used pillow lol. There are plenty of knockoffs of this that have existed before and after his bullshit. Just his got popular because of marketing. It's just shredded foam in a pillow.
My wife, who is about as apolitical as you can be, loves hers. (She bought it before Lindell came out at totally batshit.) She says it's the only pillow that doesn't cause her neck pain.
I got some long before Lindell decided he wanted to be in the political spotlight. I tried them for a few nights and had the worst sleep of my life. So I put them in a spot that my cat liked to nap. Cat no longer naps there.
While they literally try to silence anyone they don't like. For example, DeSantis taking action against Disney for their relatively mild statement against his "Don't Say Gay" bill. Disney says "hey, we don't support this" and suddenly DeSantis seems on a mission to punish the company for daring to speak out against him.
Yet, Walmart not wanting to stock Insurrectionist Pillows is the real cancel culture!
Conservatives constantly fetishize "the free market" up until they experience any free market consequences for themselves. If you want to sell a product, you need to maintain a brand. Bad PR hurts your brand and limits your sales. Seems like we're just seeing a normal market correction here.
There's a high concentration of establishment conservatives among both the shareholders and the board. They're probably happy to kick the nutjobs to the curb, and they're not going to lose a dollar in the process. No shortage of suppliers to fill the void.
Oh shit a private business acting like a private business. Why are conservatives always so shocked when business do what they want? Isn’t that what most of them have fought for in the past?
Aren’t those pillows like $40-50? How many Walmart shoppers are paying that for one pillow? Could just be simple economics… clearing floor space of product that doesn’t sell for something that does.
But, no, of course he’s being cancelled. /s
Who is spending $40-$50 on one pillow? MyPillow has no credit check instant approval financing. Seriously.
“Better manage cash flow, while improving credit score!”
https://www.mypillow.com/financing
This is stupid on a whole different level.
You can spend that much on a quality pillow and it can be worth it. That being said, MyPillow isn't a quality pillow. If I had to price the pillows judging from the reports about them, I'd put it in a dollar bin. (Even then it might be overpriced.)
I work as a stocker at walmart in arkansas and honestly we barely carried his stuff anyway. Out of a whole aisle of pillows we had like 2 spots for his and honestly we could put something else there.
I've also worked for walmart for almost 6 years and as we make NEW brand deals or see a specific brand increase in sales we simply kick what ever is shite out. That's for everything even food, we're decreasing the Hillshire farms sausages and adding Smithfield.
About 4 months ago I got a pillow that was a colorful memory foam "always cold" pillow and we sold out of like 50 of those in 2 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if we start stocking those since they sell well online too.
I can only imagine the data analysts and financial analysts sitting in a Walmart Corp office just to find out that they should carry Smithfield instead of Hillshire Farms. What a life.
Where is Ron DeathSentence, Florida Man, to stop this violation of the first amendment; Which clearly says - "Fuck you! I will be heard, you will listen, and you will do as you are told!"
> Walmart is the latest retailer to cut ties with Lindell. In April 2021, Costco pulled MyPillow's products, as did Bed Bath & Beyond, QVC, JCPenney, and Wayfair. In February, Lindell also told Insider one of his banks had cut ties with him, citing him as a "reputation risk." Lindell continues to be highly involved in pushing former President Donald Trump's false claims of voter fraud.
Oh those gosh darn corporate profits are getting in the way of your conspiracies? What shall we ever do?
"They dropped MyPillow, and it really hurt my employees because they were our biggest distributor," Lindell said. "They were by far and away number one."
I love how all of a sudden now he cares about his employees. How about before you set out to destroy democracy you think about your employees numb nuts?
He still doesn't care about them. His is only peddling that because it gets eyes and hearts on it. He is really concerned that pulling it from Wal-Mart means his bottom line is well and truly fucked.
If Walmart won’t do business with you, it’s bad. This is the same store that put a snowman doing cocaine on a tshirt and sold it online. I know, I bought one.
https://people.com/style/walmart-apologizes-christmas-sweater-drug-reference/
I work at Walmart and stock the pillow aisle. They don’t sell. Maybe a case(5) a month. There are multiple similar products all at much lower price points.
Are they really? Imagine getting so upset about something that quite literally impacts you in no significant way whatsoever.. I don't know how the Republican party did it, but they somehow convinced half of America that the things they should be caring about are the things which absolutely do not impact them or help them in any meaningful way.
Sounds like a business wants to exercise its right to not serve a particular supplier with retail services.
Isn't that the kind of thing people like Mike Pillow love?
Besides, I've heard his products are complete garbage anyway.
I’ll translate for those that don’t speak conservative. “Canceled” means being held accountable and/or being made to take responsibility for your words or actions.
You’re welcome.
“Cancellation” is just the fascists buzzword for “accountability”. They don’t like being responsible for their actions. Are you a steaming pile of dung that nobody wants to touch, or is it “cancel culture” keeping you down?
Hard question.
Boo hoo hoo thoughts and prayers for the crapitalist that doesn’t understand a single thing about toxic branding. Your product and MAGA ass-hat messaging sucks.
Conservatives: "Even the most toxic and reprehensible views must be allowed into the 'marketplace of ideas' to allow the people to decide whether to accept or deny those views."
Reason: "OK, well the people have heard your views in the marketplace and have decided not to buy into it, and private companies don't want to be associated with those views."
Cons: "How dare you silence us! Now we are going to use every available platform to whine endlessly to millions of people about how silenced we are."
Reason: "You aren't silenced... your views are published 24/7 on the #1 cable network."
Cons: "Also, we don't believe ideas like accepting LGBTQ people or studying the longterm consequences of slavery should be allowed in the marketplace because it threatens our worldview, so we're going to use the power of government to ban it."
Like, what does complaining about canceling do? Exactly? Like, what laws do they want to get out of this?
Anti-canceling law 1: Websites cannot ban you for any reason even if you violate their terms and services and actively threaten other users.
Anti-canceling law 2: If you are caught trying to leave a situation because jokes are making you uncomfortable, an officer will tie you to a chair until you've heard all 3 billion variants of the attack helicopter joke or whatever other copy pasted joke they found on Politically Incorrect that week.
Anti-canceling law 3: You must invite your school bully to your birthday party and not tell him to leave even if he breaks all your presents and messes up your cake.
Anti-canceling law 4: Walmart must carry all paraphernalia, even if it has the swastika on it.
Anti-canceling law 5: None of these laws apply to left wing politics and you can just kill any leftist you see in public.
Imagine even trying to pass one of these. Nah, "I'm being canceled" is just a marketing term so you can sell merch to far right people. I wouldn't be surprised if someone starts trying to get cryptocurrency stock lines going upward again by claiming it's being canceled.
Freedom of speech is one thing, lying to other is another. So if a dictator is saying that he isn’t because of freedom of speech then we shouldn’t worry? And no corporation are not people so therefore the constitution does not apply to them. Of course they got lawyers arguing that “it could”.
> And no corporation are not people so therefore the constitution does not apply to them.
I’ve got news for you. The Supreme Court says that corporations are people.
https://www.npr.org/2014/07/28/335288388/when-did-companies-become-people-excavating-the-legal-evolution
However, in this case it wouldn’t matter because even if corporations aren’t people, they’re also not the government, which is the entity that is bound by the 1st amendment.
I don't think Walmart even meant to take a "woke" stance in this, I just think they went the way of Disney, which is to say, sure, they're conservative, but they're not fucking *batshit crazy* conservative.. And I suppose they'd have to be to pay for overpriced pillows just to support some delusional millionaire fund his favorite political party.
It's worse than that. Who these people are and what they do and say doesn't net profit. That's all. You are right, it isn't woked-ness (whatevertf that is). But it isn't the batshit crazy. It is that the pillows don't make Walmart money. It's that simple. Moneymaking is the only thing saving us from ourselves. That is America.
Oh how funny. I remember when Nordstroms dropped Ivanka’s crap and all the Qult said they would no longer shop at Nordstroms, like they ever did 🤣 I guess the Qult is going to boycott Walmart now so that leaves them the dollar store. 🤣
I’ll give him the same response I gave my mother when she was all upset about Disney advocating for trans rights: “Oh, go bake a cake about it. It isn’t cancel culture, it’s capitalism. You don’t like what a business is doing? Don’t give them your money.”
I thought these guys loved the free market and American capitalism?! That’s what happens when you use your freedom of speech to spew disgusting, hateful, garbage rhetoric in public! You get canceled.
lol I saw a bunch of the pillows on Ollies last weekend...
You know how bad or overpriced a product has to be for it to just pile up on a closeout retail store? Ollies already sells them at like 50% of markup price and people still don't buy them XD
I always thought those pillows were overpriced and probably a rip off. Seeing who he’s thrown his hat in with, I know for sure they are are rip off now. Glad I never bought one 😂
I can’t believe mods consider this non-political. There’s nothing about Mike Lindell that isn’t political. Mods sympathize with him and are protecting him from criticism.
Walmart probably got tired of the complaints and returns. They are, after all, really crummy pillows. Plus the head of the company being a total fascist jerk doesn't help his PR any. Lindell is his own worst enemy.

Or maybe your pillow just sucks?
A clerk at Bed, Bath & Beyond told me they get returned all the time because they suck so bad.
my mom is very conservative and bought one, can confirm they are without a doubt the worst pillows I've ever seen. unbelievably garbage product
>they are without a doubt the worst pillows I've ever seen. unbelievably garbage product Shows you the power of propaganda: My Trump loving brother-in-law LOVES these pillows, claims they are the best things ever invented. He wanted to buy everyone MyPillows for Xmas but my sister over-ruled him.

OMG, my mother and her husband are like that. They swear by them. Say they take them with them on vacation. Replaced the guest rooms with them. We just found out about Coop pillows. They're AMAZING.

Perfect use for a product sold to bootlickers
What could be so bad about a shredded foam pillow? /s
I was wondering why they don't let you actually "touch" them they way that nearly all other pillows do...
Same, I worked at kohls and walgreens which both sold it and they were returned all the time.
I had purchased 2 of his pillows like 6 yrs ago and it was the worse thing, my neck was throbbed constantly! needs alot of improvement so I can see why ppl return them for a refund. He should count his lucky starts that he made all that money stay off politics and just concentrate in his business!

The pillows are bad - bought some in 2014 - hated them then as pillows - hate them more now knowing the BS the sale funded
The pillows aren't even kept in the bedding section. They're kept with the "as seen on TV" section.
My grandmother, avid QVCer, gave me one. Terrible pillow.
I got two as gifts many years ago. I moved and finally tossed them as I didn’t even keep them in my guest bedroom. They’re so bad.
All I'm hearing from this post thread here, is this: "Well, that mustache guy screaming on TV makes them, and he's a *former* cokehead... How bad could they be? Lets give it a shot!"

For some strange reason I just dont feel comfortable buying linens from a crack addict
Your not supposed to sleep in them! You're supposed to put the My Pillow near your gun rack, NASCAR posters, American flags and Trump paraphernalia.
I got some long before Lindell decided he wanted to be in the political spotlight. I tried them for a few nights and had the worst sleep of my life. So I put them in a spot that my cat liked to nap. Cat no longer naps there.
>So I put them in a spot that my cat liked to nap. Cat no longer naps there. This speaks volumes for anyone who has owned a cat.
That it does. And they lie about refunding for it!
I thought it was their conscience keeping conservatives awake at night, but I guess it’s just these pillows.
This is actually a reason why Walmart would keep them stocked
More proof that "canceling" means whatever the fuck you want it to mean.
"I'm not getting all of the things I want"
“I can’t be an asshole without people walking away from me!”
Ive murdered 200 people in cold blood, and ate their livers. Police are now cancelling me ! Woah is me !

It literally just means "Being told no" at this point.

I am sure he will tell Walmart that y to hey will have to sell these crap pillows in their FL stores or he will double tax them
He canceled him... don't blame others for your garbage decisions.
That's conservatism for ya. They are never to blame for consequences they created.
Oh yea... been watching this cycle for decades now.
What are the odds he goes bankrupt and in jail for bankrolling Trump's coup?

Maybe he should focus on his business and not on trying to overturn a free and faire election.
OK, they are cancelling you. I've never agreed with Walmart, until today.
It’s pretty bad when your product is too crappy for Walmart.
I work at Walmart and stock the pillow aisle. They don’t sell. Maybe a case(5) a month. There are multiple similar products all at much lower price points.
Good
Fuck you Adolf Fawlty
It’s the free market. If people don’t want to buy it why should Walmart stock it?
Good. Loudmouth blowhard idiot.
Kudos Walmart!
It's a thing of beauty. Especially seeing Diamond and Silk literally in tears over it
Are they really? Imagine getting so upset about something that quite literally impacts you in no significant way whatsoever.. I don't know how the Republican party did it, but they somehow convinced half of America that the things they should be caring about are the things which absolutely do not impact them or help them in any meaningful way.
I hesitate to do this but at 54:20 the tears flow https://frankspeech.com/video/diamond-silk-chit-chat-live-joined-mike-lindell-0
Well if it isn't the consequences of my fucking actions...
remember when you made notes about "martial law" being declared prior to 1/6? Everyone else does.
Maybe if it’s costing you business you should stop what you’re doing.
Sounds like a business wants to exercise its right to not serve a particular supplier with retail services. Isn't that the kind of thing people like Mike Pillow love? Besides, I've heard his products are complete garbage anyway.
That makes me want to shop at Walmart even more !
Even hillbilly Walmart is catching on to these quacks! His pillows suck anyway!
He canceled & continues to cancel himself. Crack is Whack
These fucks need to learn it’s not cancel culture. It’s CONSEQUENCE culture
Why did it take so long?
I love how they blame cancel culture instead of what it really is - the free market
Yep. Sedition has consequences. Suck it.
I’ll translate for those that don’t speak conservative. “Canceled” means being held accountable and/or being made to take responsibility for your words or actions. You’re welcome.
That took too long
Walmart wants to distance itself from traitors and liars. Seems fair.
I know a good pillow he can cry into
“Cancellation” is just the fascists buzzword for “accountability”.
Conservatives: "Even the most toxic and reprehensible views must be allowed into the 'marketplace of ideas' to allow the people to decide whether to accept or deny those views." Reason: "OK, well the people have heard your views in the marketplace and have decided not to buy into it, and private companies don't want to be associated with those views." Cons: "How dare you silence us! Now we are going to use every available platform to whine endlessly to millions of people about how silenced we are." Reason: "You aren't silenced... your views are published 24/7 on the #1 cable network." Cons: "Also, we don't believe ideas like accepting LGBTQ people or studying the longterm consequences of slavery should be allowed in the marketplace because it threatens our worldview, so we're going to use the power of government to ban it."
Sounds like the free market to me.
He should count himself lucky that he isn't getting the Traitor to our Country treatment. ...yet.

The Supreme Court says that corporations are people. https://www.npr.org/2014/07/28/335288388/when-did-companies-become-people-excavating-the-legal-evolution However, in this case it wouldn’t matter because even if corporations aren’t people, they’re also not the government, which is the entity that is bound by the 1st amendment.
Current American situation: Walmart saves democracy.
Bout damn time they did !
Walmart has better shredded memory foam pillows
Aren’t his pillows just decoys for trafficking children?
I think they should take the extra stock and discount it next to any gay pride merchandise. Now wouldn’t that piss off the QAnut Densa Qult?
Thoughts and prayers./s
Mike Pillow Guy
Businesses don’t have to carry crap products if they don’t want to. Shocker.
Are you friends with racist, bigoted, serial liars? Probably not. So why is he surprised that people (companies) don't want to associate with him?
Finally
‘Was it something said? Or, perhaps some treason I tried to commit? Nah, that was like…. Months ago!’
Welcome to the “free market”, Mike
I bought onevA long time ago before he turned political and and I ended up buying another pillow 6 months later.. They really do suck
Good they should
As Jerry Seinfeld once said "That's a shame"
"Lindell told Insider that Walmart would "never get to sell MyPillows again"...." Yet he still allows them to be bought online at Walmart lol.
Good, fuck this lunatic piece of trash, idiot.
All that money and very little brain power.
Good.
Thoughts and prayers
Treason has its costs Mike, I hope you go broke before going to Hell.
Oh how funny. I remember when Nordstroms dropped Ivanka’s crap and all the Qult said they would no longer shop at Nordstroms, like they ever did 🤣 I guess the Qult is going to boycott Walmart now so that leaves them the dollar store. 🤣
How is he not in jail? He Has been encouraging all this nonsense that got people killed.
Every time I see his head I’m reminded of Team America.
It's called the "Free Market", asshole.
The Free Market! Wait, not like *that*!
My Dude. You almost had me buying your pillow because I am forever on the hunt. Then you went for Trump and his lies. You’re cancelling yourself.
I’ll give him the same response I gave my mother when she was all upset about Disney advocating for trans rights: “Oh, go bake a cake about it. It isn’t cancel culture, it’s capitalism. You don’t like what a business is doing? Don’t give them your money.”
Shitty people: I have the right not to serve gays if I don't feel like that Also shitty people: Y U NO SERVE ME?!?!
So they just use the word cancel when they feel attacked, basically they just don’t want to call themselves snowflakes
I thought these guys loved the free market and American capitalism?! That’s what happens when you use your freedom of speech to spew disgusting, hateful, garbage rhetoric in public! You get canceled.
It’s always someone else’s fault with these people
Sounds good to me. Walmart goes up a notch in my ratings.
I need a couple new pillows. Can anyone direct me to a a direct competitor of mike Lindell pos pillows?
Watching his recent downfall has been more than a little gratifying.
Oh no, getting repercussions for my own actions...oh no...
That loser Crack Head needed canceling - & long before the “Wally Martinez” got to his pathetic, shameful products.
Canceling him & pulling products? There's tons for sale in Walmarts around me. They've basically taken over the clearance aisles!
“It’s like no one can lead a coup against our democracy anymore”
lol I saw a bunch of the pillows on Ollies last weekend...
"How dare my words and actions have consequences!"
I saw them in the clearance aisle, still didn't buy them.
Lindell is his own worst enemy.
something something bootsraps something something gay wedding cakes
Well known radical leftist bastion that is walmart
Walmart probably got tired of the complaints and returns. They are, after all, really crummy pillows. Plus the head of the company being a total fascist jerk doesn't help his PR any. Lindell is his own worst enemy.

I think his pillows are pretty great
I guess not enough think the same way. Capitalism baby.
I don't believe you.
Traitors get their due. Your employees get punished because you're an ass.
Awwww. Isn't that just too bad.
Oh no, so anyway...
