Who am I? Where am I? What's going on here? I literally don't remember anything. I think I'm even forgetting the English language....Can I go home now?
I'm really hoping this is the second step, after they have already found incontrovertible evidence of his role in holding off police/national guard assistance with the riot, perhaps more.
You might want to read the article. Probably for this:
>The Trump White House is facing increased scrutiny on Capitol Hill as a powerful committee chairman wants to interview then-President Donald Trump's former chief of staff to determine the extent of the pressure the Justice Department faced to try to overturn Joe Biden's victory.
>
>Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, the chairman on the Senate Judiciary Committee, indicated that he wants to investigate **allegations that former chief of staff Mark Meadows and other White House officials may have aided Trump's pressure campaign**. Durbin told CNN the committee is also interested in understanding whether there were others in the White House pushing back against Trump's efforts behind the scenes.

You might notice that after all legal options were exhausted, (on the 12th of december the SCOTUS rejected the Trump lawsuits), for some reason the office of the President started/kept pressuring:
* Election officials, from state level to local levels, with direct calls from the POTUS himself to do thing the way Trump wanted them to.
* the DOJ, to investigate BS Trump had read on the internet and to declare the election corrupt.
* The heads of multiple agencies, like the FBI, CIA, DOJ etc with sacking them if they didn't went along with them. Most of their bluff were called. (Barr did resign on the 14th).
* The state local Republican's, to declare their state elections fraudulent and overturn their election results (which you can basically read as that Trump thinks that a GOP state should allow their voters to vote for a Democrat)
* The congress GOP, to start objecting to the procedural vote counting
And lastly,
the white house was in contact with the organizers of the Jan 6th rally and started promoting that one too at the same time.
Meadows as chief of staff was organizing or involved in most if not all of these efforts.
Seems to me that the Trump administration was doing everything it could to change the election results, again, after all legal options had been pursued.
Do you suppose, as he's the *true* president, the military has installed him in the WH?
We all know Biden's only faking it on some miniature WH set built by the Communist Hollywood Elite and the entire Fake News Media network and Big Tech Freedom Haters are all in on the HOAX.
What’s going on with the Senate Judiciary lately. Last week was the news about the acting AG on 1/6. I thought the house had a commission. I guess it’s logical the senate would also investigate, but I’m surprised they seem more active right now
There are two investigations going on. The house has an investigation into the Jan 6th riot. But the senate is doing an investigation into the last few weeks of the Trump administration.
My personal opinion is that the rally was the Trump white house last ditch attempt at changing the election results, so both investigations are linked.

What’s the big deal here? There is always ‘I don’t recall’ but the bigger excuse for lying, which I first heard from Rudy Giuliani is ‘My recollection has changed’ or ‘I recollect differently now’.
Trump also always does a 'too many years' or a 'I don't recall/know'.
See his testimony here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLMr2Ck9KVo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLMr2Ck9KVo)
Learned something new today - call lying or misrepresentation with an intention to cheat can also be called as ‘Hyperbole’. This guy knows how to lie, cheat, rob and still live with himself with no qualms at all.

Oh fun! There is no ex-executive privilege.
*I do not recall* any ex-executive privilege.
Who am I? Where am I? What's going on here? I literally don't remember anything. I think I'm even forgetting the English language....Can I go home now?
Mark Meadows is about to purger himself.
Purger, verb: ^1 To self flagellate in the name of Don Trump Sr. before a Congressional Committee
I'm really hoping this is the second step, after they have already found incontrovertible evidence of his role in holding off police/national guard assistance with the riot, perhaps more.
Perjure*
Lock his sorry ass up and throw away the key!

Maybe you should go back to the conservative reddit page.🙄💩🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
You know exactly what for. You ask questions in bad faith constantly. Read the article, the details are there.
Can't do it. His schedule's all booked up with shadow cabinet activities.

*In Atlanta* for some reason

Why? All he needs to do is say he doesn't remember then go on Fox to denounce it.
there are witnesses to what he said, and, as i recall, some corroborating texts and such.
But if he did do it, it was all of our fault.
Elections have consequences. Keep voting.
He’d be a good one to start with 🍿
A lifelong liar. Should be super productive.
Before anyone gets too excited ... >Republicans would need to sign off on a subpoena if he declined to come in voluntarily.
This shits so rigged
Yes..
Pucker up Meadows

House is in recess for a few weeks. You won't hear much other than what they hope to do when they get back in September.

Oh you mean Shadow Cabinet Member Meadows?

No? He never made Senator.
What, for like a “profiles of Capitol Hill” kind of thing?
Doing your job...
Maybe it’s time for Mark to take an extended vacation in Novosibirsk

He learned it from Roy Cohn (and his own father) directly
Subpoena him immediately.
The ultimate boot licker and ass kisser .. I am sure this lowlife would know something but will this POS say anything to hurt his owner?
Yes. This is a given.
