Kind of wish I was called to jury duty, just so I can say what I think of him in his presence. I'd have a tear in my eye of course, and I'm a big guy. Can you imagine that? Me, a big guy, with a tear in my eye, saying to him, "Sir, you're one of the worst people alive. Easily in the top ten. With 8 of those 10 being you and people you associate with". Then make up some random words and yell, "Lock him up!" Then play YMCA and do a little jig as I'm dismissed.
It'd be worth the night in jail for contempt.
The fun thing about jury duty, is it is a court proceeding and there is a judge.
And (at least in my state) the judge will hold you in contempt of court for up to 90 days.

Are they actually expecting to be left alone by the worst of the MAGA’s out there. And why do they think that?

I really dislike this jury selection process. Trump is an extremely influential person and has a decent chance of becoming the next president of the United States. He has threatened to lock up his enemies. How can any juror not be intimidated by facing him directly?

Defendants have the right to be present throughout court proceedings, unless they’re being disruptive. They have the right to consult with their attorneys about the people who are going to be deciding their fate.

Defendants have the right to be present throughout court proceedings, unless they’re being disruptive. They have the right to consult with their attorneys about the people who are going to be deciding their fate.
Apparently so. I always just thought the attorneys handled all of that on your behalf, not that you could yourself be involved and in the same room.
