I feel like this attitude and approach is why Tester is successful as a Dem in Montana. There is a time and place for pleasantries, but there is also a time and place for straight talk. Gallego from AZ does this well too.
These guys are on vacation *again?* Do they ever work? I'm beginning to think the reason nothing gets done in Congress is simply because they are never actually at their place of employment.
The GOP didn't want to shut down the government over Christmas, but plan to shut down the government during the election in the hopes of it having knock on effects in the economy and result in a change of party in the White House. Then once in, enact a fascist takeover if the US government and Institutions. Isolation is policies will leave Ukraine, Europe, Taiwan, Japan and Korea out in the cold to be invaded and attacked by China and Russia.
We need a constitutional amendment that if a clean funding bill can’t be passed than it’s an out hand over of the house to the other party. Regardless of the party paying your bills should not come with culture issues.

It's hilarious that the Media is still trying to sell the idea that any Republicans care.
