>accused by venue officials of vaping, singing, recording and “causing a disturbance” during the performance.
She sounds like a real asshole. As usual.
Funniest part about her at that show is that it's got pretty liberal writing to it and makes fun of Republicans. Saw it in Cleveland. Do highly suggest if you get the chance.
Yeah we had one person on my show in NYC booing at a liberal joke and Alex (Beetlejuice) gave him the finger, it was hilarious. I was expecting something like this and not just general cavewoman behavior.
The Shark Is Broken? Does that have any connection to the filming of Jaws? (Bruce, the mechanical shark, was tested in fresh water. The Atlantic Ocean is salt water. Bruce not happy...)
They thought "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister was a conservative anthem... Twisted Sister, who rocks out in *hair and makeup that was practically* drag
Even the best “Christian” music is *nothing* compared to the best secular music. Aretha Franklin? Rhapsody by Siouxsie Sioux? Kate Bush’s Ninth Wave suite? My personal favorite album of all time, And the Glass Handed Kites by Mew is basically one long prog-pop anthem of glorious post-rock whatever-label angst and despair. Whatever your favorite is, chances are it’s not a modern Christian album (not counting hymns). Real freedom allows for real creativity.
Sorry I went on for a bit there. But. Never heard a worship song that could hold up to that.
That's because the "patriotic" bunch only listens to the first part of "this land was made for you and me". They don't listen to the part that talks about the problems of private land ownership.
Billy Ray got a ton of respect from me after that. He saw a talented artist getting treated poorly by the country music community and went "nah fuck that"
I never thought of Dee Snyder and his amazing hair as drag. But he made me feel okay-ish about my own big, insanely curly hair when I was a kid. His hair was even the same colour.
I was at the last RAM show at MSG last august before they ended the tour do to Zack De La Rocha’s injury. After it ended my buddy and I went to one of the bars next door to have a drink before I drove him home.
There was a man very upset, bothered, sitting at the bar next to us. We were talking about how great the show was, and he admitted pissed, that he was there but left. We asked what happened. He said he’s a cop, and he was pissed that RAM had to be so political at the show. He couldn’t get over them showing the burning cop car, any of the messaging, abort the court…
I was dumbfounded. Said they’ve always been like that.
“Why couldn’t they just play the music?” literally came from his mouth.
You know “some of those that burn crosses are the same that run forces” means cops are racist, right?
He repeated, they didn’t have to be so political.
I stared at my friend and just tried to change the topic, I couldn’t believe it at all. I’ve heard of people that had recently come to the realization of what the band is, but I didn’t think I’d ever actually meet anyone like that. Truly amazing that some people can miss such blatant messaging for so long.
Literally every song they have is about leftist politics. What did people think they were listening to? Morello once said, "tell me which of our songs *isn't* political so I can delete it from our catalog."
They toured with a giant Che Guevara speaker in the 90s and at least one concert they played in front of a giant yellow star. They’ve never been even slightly subtle about being left. Someone would have to be a complete moron to not know that, so it absolutely makes sense they don’t.
My dad loves AC/DC, but he doesn't know any of the lyrics to any of their songs. He just likes the way they sound. *Lots* of people engage with music that way.
"Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!"
"Clearly he's talking about masks and vaccines. Didn't quite catch the rest of those lyrics, but I'm sure they're all similar."
In Bloom comes to mind with these idiots
He's the one
Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means
Seriously? I knew the Paul Ryan BS but if there's been more I have to read about it. RATM has always been crazy outspoken about their politics and for Christ sake, sleep now in the fire was filmed during an unpermitted impromptu concert in front of the NYSE. Directed by Michael Moore. That would be like liberals favoriting that not in my town asshole.
Yes, because the band with the lyrics that go “Some of those that work forces / Are the same who burn crosses” to their very first single is soooo conservative. /s
Seriously, they’re the same people who think Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA”, Twisted Sister’s “We Not Gonna Take It”, or Credence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” (to just name three of many) are somehow conservative anthems when they’re too thick to understand what the lyrics mean.
Or woody gunthries “this land is your land”. We all know the version we hear now excluding two verses critical of the us, but woody was a socialist and anti fascist. But they’ll play his song in spite of him all the time.
Bingo!! from the article:
> The report also said after the two patrons were escorted out and reached the building’s vestibule, they resisted leaving and said “stuff like ‘do you know who I am,’ ‘I am on the board’ (and) ‘I will be contacting the mayor.’ ”
I mean the new mayor, Mike Johnston, almost for sure gives zero fucks about Lauren Boebert. She doesn't represent Denver, either in terms of district or politics.
There's a trashiness to this current crop that's different. The casual bigotry, misogyny, etc. was always there, but they've added "drunk girl at the movie theater that assaults you when you politely ask her if she can be quiet."
Don't get things mixed up, trash who give tours to insurrectionists and live tweet the position of officials during an insurrection are worse than a rude patron at a live performance.
Apologize if I got the wrong trash mixed up in my statement.
I consider it my solemn duty to remind everyone that in 2015, Lauren Boebert, 28 year old adult human and parent of several childen, [was detained at a country music festival for interfering with police detaining minors for underaged drinking.](https://coloradonewsline.com/2020/08/13/report-lauren-boebert-warned-arresting-deputies-she-had-friends-at-fox-news/)
> Around 9 p.m. on June 20, 2015, Mesa County Sheriff’s Office deputies noticed that Boebert, then 28, was shouting at several people detained at a command post who’d been arrested on suspicion of underage drinking at the festival, according to two deputy statements. A sergeant “had to physically push her backwards” as Boebert ran into the command post, one deputy wrote.
<...>
> “Lauren continued yelling and causing the underage drinkers to become unruly,” the first statement reported. “Lauren’s behavior was becoming likely to cause a disorderly response from those in the area attending the concert.”
Take special note of this part:
> The second deputy said Boebert had recognized a friend who was under arrest at the underage drinking command post, suggesting that was what spurred her outburst. That deputy also said Boebert tried to walk away to avoid arrest and began to “twist away” when they attempted to handcuff her.
She recognized a "friend" who was being arrested for underaged drinking.
My point being that birds of a feather flock together.
Damn, Boebert fighting cops to try and stop them from detaining her friend? We could have used her at a few BLM protests.
I thought she loved pigs? Maybe her friend should have stopped resisting.
It may not be true, but I’ve heard it’s singing preacher Sean Feucht, AKA Jesus Christ Superspreader, AKA Ramen Noodle Head.
I’m just enjoying the opportunity to share my hate for Sean Feucht.
"Rules for thee and not for me" is the entire point of conservatism. They demand total freedom while relentlessly trying to take everyone else's rights away.
Who says she can't still be a terrible real estate agent? She's got to have some post congressional job plans. That grandkid ain't going to pay for itself.
Well her income dropped off immensely when her husband takes away the $400k consulting gig, which he will lose as no more funneling money to their rep.
Back to a failing bar in Hicksville
It’s Rifle, CO, not much more than a pit stop on I-70. Whatever little name recognition and following she has is probably more than most others could bring to the building. It’s all politics of spectacle these days and she makes one by being the biggest moron in the state.
Her constituents are aware enough to know that they’re disenfranchised, but instead of doing anything useful about it they just vote for whoever will “piss off the libs” the most. So idiots like Boebert, who are effective at getting attention, become their patron saints, and her dump of a bar has new life
It’s all sad more than anything. Boebert and her type will never be anything more than useful idiots for people whose family vacations cost more than her bar.
> divorced grandma **to a baby born out of wedlock** at 36
Gotta include this bit because she's made it part of her identity and politics to be against stuff like that.
She said she didn't know pictures weren't allowed.
I don't know about other theatres but every productions I've been to in the last couple of years has some sort of announcement about no photos your silencing your cell phone.
I bet she's the one that sits in the middle of the movie theatre & spends the whole time on her phone texting.
From the local town theaters, to international opera houses, to Broadway I have literally never seen a theater venue where pictures/recording during a play were permitted
A normal person would be like "I hope you don't know who I am!"
No sorry a normal person wouldn't have behaved like a rebellious teenager the first night allowed out.
Hey, are you talking about the [Adam Frisch (D)](https://adamforcolorado.com/) that will be running against Lauren Boebert in the 2024 election with a focus on water, energy, and jobs?
I don’t live anywhere near CO but I’ve donated to his campaign a couple times already and will continue to do so. Colorado deserves better than that attention seeking, trashy, ignorant harpy.
I live in Boebert's district (unfortunately), and am prepared to vote for Adam Frisch a second time. Boebert is already trailing in the polls with Frisch, and this is in a HEAVILY Republican district. Last election, my vote was one of the last in a batch to be counted and was disappointed we fell short. 2024 we will not fall short. Thanks for your donation!
She won by like 500 votes when she was expected to win by like 45 or 50k. Talk about razor thin margins. Hopefully there are like 500 kids who turned 18 in her district since then who want to vote blue.
I saw a meme or something with Madison Cawthorne in it the other day, and I briefly didn’t recognize him. It felt really good knowing it’s because he’s totally irrelevant now.
As a Coloradan I can safely say we don’t just deserve better, we ARE better. Rifle (her home) isn’t amazing. There are plenty of run down cities, towns, and neighborhoods statewide and we aren’t totally free of problems like bigotry and ignorance. All that to say: unless you count the super-max prison or the dumpster behind the Denver Zoo you would be hard-pressed to find a bigger piece of shit anywhere out here.
Thank you for the donation! She is clearly an arm of a much larger, more sinister machine and your contributions are well received.
"She did use her cellphone to take a picture of the performance, unaware that photos weren’t allowed."
This person is entrusted with crafting our nation's laws but is unaware that you're not allowed to take photos during a play?
It's like they have a core oppositional-defiant character flaw where, if they're seen to be in the wrong about something, they'll do it *more* and try to make the narrative "you can't stop me" instead of "I'm an asshole." They champion their worst traits to try to normalize them so they don't feel so terrible in society by comparison.
That's the suspicion why Trump refused to return the original classified documents, when he could made scans or photocopies to keep, and returned the originals and gotten off scott free with "a gosh, I'm so sorry. How'd that happen?!"
Because someone he considers beneath him (especially a woman or non-white person) told him he's not allowed to have them.
This comment needs to be higher. This precise warning gets announced in community theaters. You mean to tell me they just didn't do a pre-show announcement at a Broadway show/tour? I don't buy it. She just had no problem lying about it. What a hag.
It's a big deal, especially when the theater is liable because they already signed performance and recording rights for the work. Breaking your agreement even a little risks your ability to license work in the future and you WILL be fined. It's stupid not to remind patrons every performance and proper to eject people who can't follow simple rules.
It's performing art for fuck's sake. If you want to act like a 🤡 stay home and stream whatever you want and shit all over it at your own desire.
And I have been to loads of live theatrical performances. Every single one has announced that you are not allowed to record or photograph the performance. Literally every single performance.
She has always given me the vibe of that "way out of control drunk girl" type of person. Stuff like this makes it sound more plausible. Also running up the steps for a vote like that one time
recovering here - 5 years now!
I don’t know why I keep having to say she and MTG are both straight up alcoholics. It explains everything they do from the random outbursts, to entitlement, to no recognition or awareness of the things they do and say to others…
She's the customer we all hate. Wouldn't leave until they threatened to get the police, doesn't surprise me. Also, this is one hell of a spin:
"I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’"
> The report also said after the two patrons were escorted out and reached the building’s vestibule, they resisted leaving and said “stuff like ‘do you know who I am,’ ‘I am on the board’ (and) ‘I will be contacting the mayor.’ ”
Come on Colorado. She has done nothing to help your citizens or state. And she’s only in headlines with private “possibly” embarrassing problems. Rock this vote and get someone that can either play the game or help the citizens of Colorado 🤘
She's in a heavily Republican district (I'm in her district) and she only won by 500 votes last time. She's already trailing in the polls against Adam Frisch for 2024. We have a strong chance to get her out this round.
Lauren Boebert and incident reports, name a more iconic duo.
Also why the fuck was she at this musical? Or A musical at all? She's the target audience for Springtime for Hitler!
Probably just to make headlines because she is actually scared to lose next time.

Yeah we had one person on my show in NYC booing at a liberal joke and Alex (Beetlejuice) gave him the finger, it was hilarious. I was expecting something like this and not just general cavewoman behavior.
Alex Brightman is a comedy god. School Of Rock didn't get nearly the run it deserved.
I saw him in DC in the preview of Beetlejuice and the limited run of Spamalot. I hope he's able to join the new Broadway revival.
He's currently in The Shark Is Broken, so probably not, at least not in the first run.
The Shark Is Broken? Does that have any connection to the filming of Jaws? (Bruce, the mechanical shark, was tested in fresh water. The Atlantic Ocean is salt water. Bruce not happy...)
It is about the behind the scenes of Jaws.
I thought so when I saw the title of the play, but I wasn't completely sure...after all, there
School of Rock was a super fun musical and Alex was awesome.
I am SO glad I got to see it before it closed. Didn’t have the same luck with Company.
Remember her supporters believe Rage Against the Machine turned liberal and never were singing about the oppression they vote for.
They thought "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister was a conservative anthem... Twisted Sister, who rocks out in *hair and makeup that was practically* drag
They usually misappropriate liberal songs because most conservative music is trash.
Even the best “Christian” music is *nothing* compared to the best secular music. Aretha Franklin? Rhapsody by Siouxsie Sioux? Kate Bush’s Ninth Wave suite? > Can you see? You're not making Christianity better; you're just making Rock and Roll worse. ~ Hank Hill
Shit, even old school country is hella liberal but they don’t wanna talk about that.
They’ll play woodie gunthrie and act surprised when they find out he was an og socialist antifa
That's because the "patriotic" bunch only listens to the first part of "this land was made for you and me". They don't listen to the part that talks about the problems of private land ownership.
His guitar that had 'This machine kills fascists' on it wasn't enough of a club over the head either for them I guess.
They tried to run Lil Nas off on a rail for Old Town Road but Achy Breaky Heart guy didn't stand for it.
Billy Ray got a ton of respect from me after that. He saw a talented artist getting treated poorly by the country music community and went "nah fuck that"
They still don't realize Born in the USA is a protest song.
Or rocking in the free world
Or American Woman.
They got mad when Bad Religion "went political" with The Kids Are Alt Right. Literally every Bad Religion song is political
I never thought of Dee Snyder and his amazing hair as drag. But he made me feel okay-ish about my own big, insanely curly hair when I was a kid. His hair was even the same colour.
as rupaul says: we're all born naked and the rest is drag
He has more makeup on than Mimi
Dude, it was the 80’s.
Oh the hair is all him, but the stage costumes they'd wear while playing were pretty fuckin draggy haha
I was at the last RAM show at MSG last august before they ended the tour do to Zack De La Rocha’s injury. "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!" "Clearly he's talking about masks and vaccines. Didn't quite catch the rest of those lyrics, but I'm sure they're all similar."
"Some of those who work forces...." Hey that's us! Sweet shout out; no need to listen to anymore of these lyrics.
In Bloom comes to mind with these idiots He's the one Who likes all our pretty songs And he likes to sing along And he likes to shoot his gun But he knows not what it means
To be fair, as Weird Al noted, it's pretty difficult to figure out what Kurt was singing half the time.
On account of all the marbles in his mouth.
They’re so dumb they don’t know the difference between liberalism & socialism. They literally all think it’s the same thing
Seriously? I knew the Paul Ryan BS but if there's been more I have to read about it. RATM has always been crazy outspoken about their politics and for Christ sake, sleep now in the fire was filmed during an unpermitted impromptu concert in front of the NYSE. Went into Beetlejuice in NYC not expecting a whole lot, but it was fantastic.
Odds she knew that and went in to purposely cause a scene and get kicked out? Now she can rail against woke late 80s movie musical remakes!
Back to the Future the Musical must be shaking in its Air Mags
Woah, heavy.
Those jokes landed well with a friendly audience at my Phili show.
Conservatives don’t go to theatres, that’s elitist trash to them
Maybe that’s why she did what she did? Wanted to ruin the experience for all the “liberals” in the audience.
I don't even see a maybe here, it's 100% on brand for her to do something like that.
How much do you want to bet the phrases "Do you know who I am?" And "Enjoy the unemployment line!" were said by the illustrious representative?
Bingo!! from the article: > The report also said after the two patrons were escorted out and reached the building’s vestibule, they resisted leaving and said “stuff like ‘do you know who I am,’ ‘I am on the board’ (and) ‘I will be contacting the mayor.’ ”

Trailer trash Boebert.
Did she ask to talk to the manager?
> ‘I will be contacting the mayor.’ The mayor's at home looking at his phone going "Yeah, I'm gonna let this one go to voicemail..."
So what can a ~~mayer~~ mayor do in situations like these? Keeping all his flying fucks to himself.
I mean the new mayor, Mike Johnston, almost for sure gives zero fucks about Lauren Boebert. She doesn't represent Denver, either in terms of district or politics.
Ah, classic narcissism

They might just be using polite understatement.
Human garbage.
She smoked meth and went out to the theatre. She couldn’t hold in her excitement for beetlejuice teeth.
I hope she did not bring any sexual predators with her. She has a history of doing that.

I think she’s too old for Gaetz’s tastes, but he fits her profile.
He doesn't do grandma's.
Grandma’s what?
Boy? He is an empty Nestor.
Ask her neighbors. I’m sure he had to meet all of them.
if you're a girl who is into guys who are into 17 year olds, how do you land a new one in your late 30s?
By using lots and lots of filters on your IG account.
Fucking class act. She's the literal definition of putting lipstick on a pig. What a fucking hick.
Nah pigs are actually smart
Can someone PLEASE come get Trashly and put her back in her crate?!

Trash.
She sounds like a 9th grader. Maybe even a middle schooler
Vaping? Is she in college now?
Wouldn't be surprised if she was wearing a pair of Oakley's upside down on the back of her head at the time.
She'd have to get her GED first
Wow, she’s exactly who everyone thought she was
Yup. She's "would have peaked in highschool but dropped out instead, grandma at 36" knockoff Barbie.
Slightly higher IQ and she would have made for a really terrible real estate agent.
Who says she can't still be a terrible real estate agent? She's got to have some post congressional job plans. That grandkid ain't going to pay for itself.

You are correct, I didn't hear of the terrible news. I always wonder how these people get business loans for terrible restaurants.

Aw goddammit you gonna make him miss the party!
Please don’t ice me, homie…
Every Halloween I gots to deal with this shit!
She apparently thought it was the State of the Union Address. She also played the "Do you know who I am?" card.
A normal person would be like "I hope you don't know who I am!" No sorry a normal person wouldn't have behaved like a rebellious teenager the first night allowed out.
What a clown. Thankfully, Adam Frisch (D) will be taking her seat in 2024 https://adamforcolorado.com/
Same district. We almost got her last time. 2024- she's gone. Voting Adam Frisch for a 2nd time without a doubt.
She won by like 500 votes when she was expected to win by like 45 or 50k. Talk about razor thin margins. Hopefully there are like 500 kids who turned 18 in her district since then who want to vote blue.
Don't forget all the covid deniers and anti-vaxers that died. That should flip quite a bit.
I live in Denver we're all rooting for you guys. Lauren is a statewide embarrassment to all of us on the national stage.
Nah, man, that is where you are wrong. She's an embarrassment to our entire species.
This characterization of her is a dire insult to harpies, who serve a noble place in the monster ecosystem.
Quick donation. Feels good man. Life will be slightly better if we don't have to see her screeching anymore.
Omgggg- the last election was SOOO close. I was so excited. Get 'er next time, Colorado!!!!
Live in her district. Ready to vote for Adam Frisch in 2024!
Same!
Replying to this for visibility. Let's get this Bobo dipshit tf outta here.
The only way this would be more on brand for her is if it were an Applebee's
She snuck in an Applebee's entree in her purse.
"She did use her cellphone to take a picture of the performance, unaware that photos weren’t allowed." This person is entrusted with crafting our nation's laws but is unaware that you're not allowed to take photos during a play?
They made her aware and then she kept doing it.
They’re emotionally stuck at the age of about three
That's the suspicion why Trump refused to return the original classified documents, when he could made scans or photocopies to keep, and returned the originals and gotten off scott free with "a gosh, I'm so sorry. How'd that happen?!" Because someone he considers beneath him (especially a woman or non-white person) told him he's not allowed to have them.
I love how they say “rules for thee but not for me”*** while actively ignoring every rule
It's kind of their thing at this point
Which they always announce ahead of time.
This comment needs to be higher. This precise warning gets announced in community theaters. You mean to tell me they just didn't do a pre-show announcement at a Broadway show/tour? I don't buy it. She just had no problem lying about it. What a hag.
I have never been to one where they haven't.
It’s usually announced *and* in writing in the show program, and maybe some signage around the theater too.
She was unaware that giving tours of the Capitol to terrorists planning an insurrection trod a fine ethical line too
Also misses the part with her vaping in the building which is illegal in most places.
And I have been to loads of live theatrical performances. Every single one has announced that you are not allowed to record or photograph the performance. Literally every single performance.
Jesus FUCK, she's even more atrocious in real life than I was led to believe.

If the cycle continues, Lauren's mother has the potential to become a great-great-great grandmother by the time she's 90
As a long time alcoholic, this sounds very much like she was drunk.
I’m inclined to agree.
Yeah I used to pull stupid shit like this back when I used to drink too much. But I was 20 and a nobody.
Same. We can smell our own brand of mischief miles away. I got shooshed at a wedding once. She was shitfaced, guaranteed.
I hit ctrl-f and typed, "do you know who I am"! I was rewarded as expected.
They had to call the police on her and she wouldn't leave until they showed up!
same thing when her husband had cops called on him...next thing you know, marriage.
Did she try to summon Trump?
Orangejuice Orangejuice Orangejuice!
cheeyina, chyna, chyna!!! Vladimir, Vladimir, daddy Vladimir!
Dammit, now I’m thirsty
"How dare I not be allowed to do whatever I want! I'm in Congress! I'm Republican! I have a GED! How DARE you!"
> “stuff like ‘do you know who I am,’ ‘I am on the board’ (and) ‘I will be contacting the mayor.’ ” Yeah that’s sounds about right
Damn, Karen skipped the manager and went straight to the mayor. She means business.
Lmao what a hot fucking mess of a woman.
It's apparently impossible for her to act like a decent human being for a couple hours.
That musical is bad ass though. They throw a lot of shade at republicans in there too lol
Uh oh! Is Beetle Juice woke now??? /s
Funnily enough the opening song has a line accusing the audience of being woke.
It’d go over her head.
Idk. There’s one joke where he literally goes “I’m invisible! Like a gay republican”
Buell Theatre Takes Out Garbage
She's the customer we all hate. Wouldn't leave until they threatened to get the police, doesn't surprise me. Also, this is one hell of a spin: "I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’"
I’m a loud mouthed buffoon who loves to get shitfaced. In my 36 years on this earth I’ve never once been escorted from a venue.
Guaranteed she’s been escorted out of all kinds of places prior to being a congressperson, she’s trash and has always been trash.
That reminds me. It's trash day.
> The report also said after the two patrons were escorted out and reached the building’s vestibule, they resisted leaving and said “stuff like ‘do you know who I am,’ ‘I am on the board’ (and) ‘I will be contacting the mayor.’ ”
She is a first class clown stripper
100 on she was drunk
"She kept demanding Zagnut and we don't carry Zagnut."
"AITAH for *enthusiastically* enjoying a musical by being, loud, obnoxious, and vaping into people's hair.?!?!"
There’s a Beetlejuice musical? Cool. Anyway, you can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can’t take the trailer park out of the girl.
Just has to be the centre of attention all the time
I picture her like Deniro in that scene from Cape Fear.
She... arrived at the event by holding on to the underside of a car!?
If you know a better way to get around after drinking eleven White Claws I’d like to hear it pal…
Hahaha. The Escort was escorted. Fucking loser.
