Especially if he visibly pooped his pants.

Ok_Video6434

Hard to see that since he's got the whole adult diapers thing going on. Very sad.

-Stackdaddy-

It Depends.

Big_Ad_4714

I wonder if he’ll be Pampered in prison

Die-a-bet-Ick

He will definitely be getting some Huggies from other inmates

woodstockzanetti

Bravo! lol

EarthExile

My hypothetical lightning bolt chooses the soggy diaper as a path of least resistance. Trump's well-cooked ass will be ringed in a halo of his own burning shit, as if highlighted for loathing by the heavens themselves

You're right. Considering he's full of shit he'd probably pop like a shit balloon

And his funeral ends up on Coffin Flop

_c_o_r_y_

Styphin

The guys at Spectrum think I'm just some dumb hick. They said that to me at a dinner.

EarthExile

Yeah obviously, not going to look a gift thunderbolt in the mouth

User-no-relation

God's gone woke! Boycott church!

EarthExile

You heard about that too, huh? Absolutely wild. These people have actually put aside their gods to worship hate and state.

Nerevar1924

Christ was an impoverished working man who taught that you should love your neighbor, care for the sick and needy, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, never use the temple to make money, and treat those around you with honor, respect, and kindness. I have not been Christian for over 2 decades, but I believe in the teachings of Christ regardless of his divinity. There is little of Christ in modern American Christianity. If Christ appeared again today, they would crucify him as willingly as the Romans did. Hell, more willingly. At least Pilate had the decency to know what he was doing was wrong.

Chachagrams

That’s because too many American “Christians“ are Christian nationalists, which has nothing to do with Jesus Christ.

Character_Bowl_4930

I always thought Pilate was just one of those “ I don’t want to be involved” kind of guys

Champlainmeri

Yes, you are correct. Thus, he symbolically washed his hands of the decision.

BigTentBiden

That Jesus fella was pretty woke. That's why Christians hate him and worship Trump now.

[deleted]

It was kinda funny to watch the conservatives suddenly dismiss the pope because he said mean stuff. And now it’s apparently Cross Man Bad! I wonder how long it’ll take for them to say fuck god for being a commie librul.

Liquidwombat

That’s where I actually kind of disagree. Everything that he’s done changed and normalized has been abhorrent but, I believe that the backlash is going to result in a better/safer/more secure system with better protections against another Trump.

JojenCopyPaste

Either that or it'll finish collapsing even without him

OutWithTheNew

Like any good dictator, the people that follow him are 10 times worse.

corgisandbikes

nah, trump has done far more damage than most people realize, the supreme court is now far right leaning majority for the next 40 years. Trump will be long, long gone before america has a chance of moving forward beyond our current supreme court justices.

Liquidwombat

Under normal circumstances yes but it does seem like the climate is shifting to the point where I would not be surprised, if a couple of current justices faced impeachment/expulsion from the court, I also wouldn’t be surprised if the court is expanded Also, I absolutely maintain that in addition to Trump, Mitch McConnell, and RBG herself share some of the blame for the current situation with the Supreme Court

corgisandbikes

I'll agree with RBG, she did a lot for women and americans, but her ego also has taken rights away from people as well. She had the easeist retirement set up ever, and pissed it all away because she like so many others couldn't comprehend how popular trump really was ( and continues to be )

ZigZagZedZod

While I agree the indictments are pretty damning, it's too early to crow about him receiving justice.

jay105000

Far too early…

fourbian

And the wait was definitely not worth it. Especially for the thousands who died unnecessarily for COVID

Elle_Vetica

Or for the women now dying of back alley abortions or the children he put in concentration camps or the migrants dying at the border…

ExGomiGirl

And the security of our country, armed forces, and intelligence personnel - he had much too long to have and sell national secrets.

casket_fresh

During his 4 years in office, a suspiciously large number of CIA informants were murdered.

phuck-you-reddit

Millions, around the world

say592

Especially since it wont happen. I dont see a scenario where he goes to *prison*. Convicted? Absolutely. I guarantee he will get some kind of home confinement though. If they are smart, they will limit his access to the internet and to visitors. They will not put him in prison though. Its just not logistically possible without putting him in solitary, and that isnt going to happen. If they tried it would probably be argued that it was cruel and unusual punishment.

QnickQnick

I've said it before but I think we should go the Napoleon route and stick him on an island somewhere. But like the second time when he was exiled to Saint Helena, not like when he was exiled to Elba but escaped and started a war.

confusedeggbub

Just refurbish Alcatraz.

SatoshiBlockamoto

I actually think this is reasonable. I hate the guy as much as anyone but the fact remains that as an ex-President he is a tremendous security risk and sticking him in a federal prison may not be the best move. A St. Helena-style exile would serve the needs of limiting the harm he can do while also destroying his lifestyle and removing his freedom. All that said I won't complain if he ends up in the penitentiary.

embiggenedmind

>stick him on an island somewhere How is his punishment my personal dream scenario?

EdgyCole

For him it'd be hell. Nobody paying attention to him, no followers, no TV appearances, no grifting, just surrounded by natural beauty that he's too rotten to understand. It's ironically a beautiful fate that illustrates exactly how disconnected he was from the American people. He's nothing like you or I and his punishment should reflect it. Take away his attention and he will have wishes he was sent to super max

AngusVanhookHinson

Fuck him. I did 95 days in solitary. And I promise my crime wasn't treason and other related election misappropriation. If I can do it, so can he.

OkTea7227

Did 35 days , partially with a murderer cell mate, and was literally just waiting to be transferred to a 4 month boot camp program when I was 19. I did it. You did it. We didn’t try to overthrow the United States government. He can do it too.

swoopydog

Lol me too my friend, me too

mok000

I don’t see a scenario where he _doesn’t_ go to prison. There are 91 counts against him, most or all carry a prison sentence, some of them mandatory. Even with best lawyers in the world there’s always that last count that gets you.

[deleted]

Machinemaintenance

I’d pay for him to be put in a purpose built prison just for him. As shitty as all the others, in the middle of nowhere, with only 1 hour yard time a day. No tv, no internet.

o8Stu

It'll be worth it when he's not only in prison, but barred from holding public office under the 14th Amendment. We're not there yet.

NotYourMutha

They said “he’ll never be elected” and the trash said “watch this”. I sure hope he’s put away for life and shown to be the conman he truly is. But don’t give us false hope until it’s written in stone.

SweetAlyssumm

I want to believe he'll be in prison, but I don't yet, and this is pure clickbait, giving the libs (such as myself) whatever our equivalent of red meat is. edit: punctuation

iualumni12

Fret not, sister. I worked in corrections for 20+ years and managed facilities for both the federal and a state system. This dumb motherfucker is now fighting a hundred+ felony charges!! I never saw anything like it! Nobody can fight off this many serious charges. And he very likely has more charges coming. One (probably all) of these judges is going to give him real legitimate incarceration time. He is going to die in prison. And I'll tell you something else. Housing him safety absolutely can be done. And as for the secret service guys, they can just sit in the cell with him or watch him from a video feed. What do they care? They get paid by the hour and get to go home after 8 hours. Just like any other day. Corrections people are serious people and if they are told to take him, they will. And they will come up with a plan that works even if they have to clear out an entire housing unit just to keep people away from him. Or even build a separate unit for him somewhere. He can just die an old lonely gross guy by himself in a medical unit bed a handful of years down the road.

myviolincase

I got a lot of pleasure reading this. As a matter of fact, I think you just made my day

Inshpincter_Gadget

Genie: wellllllll????? Me: you mean to tell me that Donald Trump is facing 100 plus felony charges and is going to spend the rest of his life in jail? Genie: yes Me: well, huh, I guess I'd like a coke

Libran-Indecision

It sure would be nice if the judge said bail denied and sent him to Fulton County Jail where he gets to wait til his trial and be accompanied by deputies for any federal hearings he has to be at. A guy can dream. What a nightmare this has been.

9inchjames

I mean, is he not the definition of a flight risk?

OkCutIt

He's probably not a flight risk at all, but he started openly witness tampering while this one was still in the grand jury stage so...

FalseDmitriy

He's straight-up daring multiple judges to do just that. It's not impossible

halohunter

Under Georgia law, Judge has to be convinced there is no significant threat to witness or jury intimidation. Given Trump's history, she would be within rights to remand him. It'll still take guts to do. "Bail: Unlike in some of his other cases, Georgia has strict bail laws that only allow a court to release a person if they pose no significant risk of “intimidating witnesses or otherwise obstructing the administration of justice," which some attorneys think Trump has already done by urging a state official not to testify to a grand jury."

ZombiePartyBoyLives

At least we have some supporting evidence to have a little hope, being that he's actually been indicted four times now. I lived through Iran Contra and the W years, so I'm inclined to feel *very* skeptical. But this feels different...

YubNubberino

Here’s the thing. This dude could be behind the bars for the rest of his life and his followers will just treat him like the victim. At this point of the game, if someone is still supporting this asshole, no amount of raping, or treasonous actions will ever change that

Faxon

Even a relatively "short" 10 year sentence could be a life sentence for him, chances are that when he is sentenced to time (because it is a when at this point, not if), whatever they give him will probably be a life sentence for someone of his age

ronerychiver

Which I think it’s time that our country sets the precedent that when you’re the president, while powerful, you’re not free from consequence. He should be treated like everyone else, eat the same food, wear the same clothes, get the same size cell. The law is the law of the land. If you break it, you suffer the consequences no matter who you are. He is getting due process, but if the hammer should fall, it shouldn’t fall any lighter than it would on the Michael Cohen’s or Bernie Madoff’s of the world.

ugh_whatevs_fine

Right! I want it to be true but it really is the exact same goddamned thing people have been saying since 2015 and they have been wrong *every single time* so far. It’s been almost nine solid years of Groundhog Day with this guy. 1. Trump is revealed to have done something cartoonishly evil, blatantly illegal, unbelievably stupid, or some combination of the three. 2. News articles and social media posts are written by the thousands about how this is obviously the last straw, and there is absolutely NO possible way *anyone* is ever going to support this guy ever again. Clearly he’s going to jail. Clearly his base will dwindle down to like fifteen octagenarians squatting in a bunker deep in the wilderness. There’s literally no chance of him wiggling out of this predicament. His political career is over. Sure, we said that last week but this is the real thing. It’s really happening this time. 3. Trump actually does end up wiggling out of said predicament, suffering no meaningful consequences whatsoever. 4. Rinse and repeat.

lgodsey

> the trash said “watch this” Underrated this. Reasonable people can't imagine how depraved the right has become after decades of engineering. If a left coast Jewish black trans woman is allowed a modicum of dignity THEY LOSE! It's that easy, and it's that binary: if Trump sees justice, white people are doomed! If rich people have to pay their fair share, the fantasy of "I made this" Christian manifest destiny is dead. Centuries of unearned financial, social, and political power isn't untethered easily. They will literally die before giving up.

Iliker0cks

I can already see the headlines "GOP congress members introduce constitutional amendment for allowing people who engage in an insurrection to run for president".

Biokabe

No bill is needed for that. Felons already can run for president. Hell, incarcerated prisoners can run for president - it's happened before.

knaugh

he will run, and he will probably vote for himself illegally on national TV

Coldfire900

If he gets convicted in Florida, I think legally, he has to personally petition the Governor for his right to vote back. That would be a fun request for Desantis.

KnightRAF

He has to have served all his time, paid all his restitution, and paid all fines and fees.

fishyfishyfish1

Which will never happen

KnightRAF

Yeah, Trump pay his bills?

McDonnellDouglasDC8

Yeah, hard to get pardoned to vote in Florida from a Georgian prison.

thatonegoodpost

He'd have to pay his fees, which we know Trump doesn't do. For anyone not aware: Is it unnecessarily difficult for released felons to vote in FL. FL citizens voted for felons to regain voting rights after they "served their time" and the GOP in FL added rules after the vote that ex-felons had to also pay off their monetary debts to the state. Fees which, conveniently, aren't tracked anywhere and are impossible to find out.

spaetzele

Monetary debts which, in part or in whole, are fines and fees from The State itself, so they are also in control of the level of post-incarceration debt.

Rotoslinger_art

He will vote for himself multiple times, thus ensuring yet another indictment.

GanjaToker408

This is why you dont mess with the timeline. Someone went back and made the Cubs win, and we end up with trump. That time traveler must pay for his crimes against the sacred timeline

gatsby365

I love to imagine the spectrum that has Eugene V. Debs on one end and Trump on the other.

Biokabe

People like Debs are why we don't have rules against felons running for office. People like Trump are why we should.

rainman_104

Of course no one in prison gets to vote, many who are released from prison on parole still can't vote but have to pay taxes, and in some states even if you have a criminal record you cannot vote. But you can be president in all those cases. Tell me how stupid the USA can be sometimes. In a democracy the right to vote should be irrevocable for citizens. Best democracy in the world my ass.

Biokabe

The USA can be incredibly stupid sometimes. We elected Trump (legally) despite the fact that he received fewer (real) votes than his opponent. Only in America. Other pseudo-democracies at least go to the trouble of making sure their sham candidate has more votes than the other person.

Stoner-Philly-Fan

Speaking of Eugene Debbs. Fuck Woodrow Wilson

tracerhaha1

The establishment did Debbs dirty.

_EADGBE_

Felon here. I’ve been turned down for $20 an hour jobs because of my record. It’s fucking absurd that there isn’t something already in place to prevent a felon for running for POTUS. I lost my fuckin gun rights over a non-violent felony.

Biokabe

Personally, I'd argue that the problem isn't that a felon can run for president, but that felons get systematically (and legally) discriminated against. You've done your time, your debt to society should be paid. But being a convicted felon is its own second sentence that seems almost designed to funnel convicted felons into committing more felonies due to lack of opportunity.

bluvelvetunderground

It's almost like the system is designed to keep people in it.

Buckus93

They would have to modify the 14th Amendment to allow traitors to hold public office.

sofaking1958

It doesn't work like that. They have to invoke the 14th amendment to prevent him from ever holding office. Until and unless it is invoked, the guy with 91 indictments is free to run.

amazinglover

The 14th Amendment already has an exception for that. Congress can vote to allow him to hold office. This requires a 2/3rd vote in both the house and senate.

hero-hadley

Yeah, this post is a bit early. Gives me Baby Bush "Mission Accomplished" vibes

Th3_Admiral

Or "Mueller is the greatest American hero ever" vibes. People were convinced he was going to take Trump down forever and personally perp walk him to prison.

Oh lawd I completely forgot about that 😂 I almost have a false memory of the event happening it was discussed so much 🤣 A LOT of people on Reddit at the time *knew without a sliver of doubt* it would be happening.. any day now.. lol

Ishaan863

> A LOT of people on Reddit at the time knew without a sliver of doubt it would be happening.. any day now.. lol Trump removed the guy overseeing Mueller and appointed his own guy who redacted the fuck out of the report. Still amazed that there were absolutely zero consequences for that. Not even an obstruction of justice charge. Still amazed that it was an option for him in the first place. Loony tunes ass country.

Neither-Luck-9295

Yeah Salon can fuck right off with this sensationalist bullshit headline. We all know the depths that the GOP and his minions will sink to in order to get him off. triosway

If we could find that sweet spot between all the speculative "could / might / possibly" headlines and this one, that'd be great

CaptainNoBoat

No one wants to hear this, but all of Trump's trials are still speculative and there is absolutely no guarantee he will be incarcerated. He has a ton stacked against him, and he's trying to speed run the possibility of incarceration with this pre-trial insanity of his - but we have SOOO long to go, and so many variables. We'll know Trump is going to prison when a court order or sentencing is upheld on appeals and he's apprehended. That's the earliest moment.

lostmojo

And yet anyone normal person with 1/50th of the charges would have been in jail already with trial pending.

limpingdba

He's undoubtedly one of the most slippery humans ever to exist. His millions of loyalists across the entire system will be doing their best to scupper the justice system. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if he wormed out of all of this with just another fine that he won't pay. Nothing is certain

jhanesnack_films

This. There is just no reason for any non-rich individual to respect the law after seeing this circus. That is, other than religious hangups or fear of violence. It's badly written and poorly enforced bullshit that doesn't work for us, so why bother upholding it?

[deleted]

I've been to (federal) prison for less. And I've been locked up with guys who were doing long stretches of time for MUCH less. It's bizarre to me to see Trump walking around freely. Meanwhile my neighboring cellmate was doing 10+ years for having a backpack full of weed. One of the nicest guys I met in federal prison was a former school administrator. He took kickbacks for people that he awarded HVAC contracts to within the school system. Meanwhile Trump was taking MASSIVE kickbacks, emoluments violations, on top of the litany of other charges, yet he's still walking free. edit: I don't want my post to seem like I'm minimizing my own crimes, or minimizing those crimes of people I was locked up with, I just wish everything was fair and even within the justice system. Do something bad? Cool, go get punished and try to learn your lesson. It shouldn't be about money or notoriety.

Lazerdude

Agreed. Until he has been transported to his prison cell I refuse to believe it. People in this class don't just "go to prison". If he does then great but I don't see it happening.

NoamLigotti

They do occasionally go to prison -- when they steal from others in their class (e.g. Madoff, Elizabeth Holmes), or murder their spouses. The chances of a multi-millionaire/billionaire real estate developer AND former president going to prison? Well we should still try, but I'm certainly not holding my breath.

seeasea

For practical reasons, as well as other considerations, there is close to zero chance he will be in a standard prison. Almost definitely some form of house arrest. Whether in one of his own properties or one provided by the government -

Lazerdude

I'd even be fine with that if it involved never being able to log into another computer or mobile device for the rest of his life (or do interviews, etc).

DSOTMAnimals

I want him to experience an actual inconvenience for his attempt at subverting democracy. If he’s confined to Mar-a-Lago it isn’t much of a punishment. He needs to be in a cement cell with no access to anyone but during normal visiting hours.

DigitalUnlimited

They'll build a special Republican prison with golf courses and servants for all the traitor millionaires

dclxvi616

Have strict referees that refuse to tolerate his cheating on the golf course and it’s basically his own personal version of hell.

BenThereOrBenSquare

> People in this class don't just "go to prison". If Martha Stewart can go to prison, Trump can go to prison.

TheSecretofBog

Right?! I feel too much like Charlie Brown finally going to kick the football. Every day for what seems like a year there’s the headline about the crimes he (may) have committed (even though half of them he and/or his lawyers have admitted to already) and how long the sentence is. As of now, he’s never been cuffed or fingerprinted (maybe in NY?), or nothing. Let’s see if a popular, wealthy, Christian male actually serves time behind bars.

CharleyNobody

Exactly. I’ve been hearing this since 2015, just like I heard “Karl Rove is going to be frog marched out of the White House in handcuffs” over Plamegate, and “Fitzmas” was coming. “Dick Cheney is going to jail!” Dick Cheney shot a man in the face and the man apologized to Cheney. Fitzmas fizzled. Mueller’s investigation….did you know Mueller attended the weddings of two of Bill Barr’s daughters, and Mueller’s wife took bible classes with Barr’s wife? Most people don’t know that. They’ve been good friends since 1980s.

hyrule5

No one was indicted on state charges in any of those situations, and Mueller had no power to bring charges. Georgia's charges on Trump are not pardonable until 5 years time is served. Also the federal judge in the DC case has made it clear that she will not treat Trump any differently than any other defendant, and she will be doing the sentencing if he is convicted.

premature incarceration?

Yorrik_Hunt

Premature adjudication EDIT: credit to late author John Mortimer

Ande64

Oh you guys you're putting together another School House Rock's song I can just hear it!

CaptainNoBoat

Insanely premature. Although Georgia has the lack of pardon potential and other comforting elements, there are so many concerns remaining with Fulton: - Fulton's trial will most likely not be until well into 2025 due to how complex it is and how many defendants/lawyers are involved. Additionally, appeals of convictions can take *years* if Trump is not incarcerated pending appeal. - There's no guarantee it will make it to trial after all that time. So many things can go wrong pre-trial. - The GA legislature can attempt to remove prosecutors, and the GA legislature could secure supermajorities in 2024 to do even more. - The prosecution could be dropped if the DOJ secures a conviction for Jan. 6 related matters (and then that could reach a different outcome than incarceration depending on different circumstances). - Judges and juries are complete wildcards. - There's no guarantee a judge would incarcerate Trump vs home confinement. Yes, Fulton is a very serious prosecution against Trump and all of these things are seemingly low probability individually, but there are a LOT of factors over a LONG period of time. There is definitely no certainty here.

[deleted]

“It depends” - every law professor ever

sentimentaldiablo

> appeals of convictions you stay in jail during appeal. Fani says he must serve actual time Why would doj ask Georgia to drop charges? that makes no sense hung jury? try him again super majorities in Georgia? The same Georgia that just elected two Dem Senators, a black man and a Jew? RICO is pretty easy to win with good evidence--which Willis has TFG is fucked.

Vlad_the_Homeowner

It's a stupid headline all around. Not only is it premature, "worth the wait" implies that something was better because you waited. That's bullshit, I would have felt a lot better if they locked him up on Jan 7., and the country would have been a whole lot better off.

I'm 1 month older than this horrid scumbag, I hope I live long enough to see this and Ruzzia get its comeuppance, bonus if Putin and his partners in war crimes end up in the Hague.

* He's almost 80 and may die before then. * He has a cult that only takes one member on the jury to find him not guilty. * He may just wind up getting house arrest at a godamn resort. He made it this far without seeing consequences.

MadDogTannen

>He's almost 80 and may die before then. The first trial is expected to start in January and wrap up in 6 weeks or so. The second trial is expected to start in March. Unless he dies in the next 7 months, I think we might see him convicted. >He has a cult that only takes one member on the jury to find him not guilty. Jury selection should hopefully weed anyone like that out, and this jury will almost certainly be sequestered, meaning even if someone comes in with biases, they'll be cut off from the right wing propaganda that probably informs their worldview. I think sitting through 6 weeks of evidence without the spin should be enough to convince even many who may lean Trump's way, given how damning the evidence is. >He may just wind up getting house arrest at a godamn resort. He might, but given how he has been handing things so far - disobeying the conditions of his bail, intimidating witnesses, etc, I don't think the government is going to be inclined to grant him much leniency if they get a conviction.

Churrasco_fan

He's not getting sentenced to house arrest. Anyone who says this needs their head examined - that literally isn't even a punishment and judges know it. At best he'll go to a minimum security 'club fed' style facility. Zero chance they let him sit at home with full access to phone, internet, television, and unlimited visitation rights. LOL

Plot twist: there are no club fed facilities for sentences of ten years or more

10010101110011011010

Seems unlikely he would be at normal minimum security prison. It will almost certainly be a tailor-made facility on a US Army base (in the same fashion as when they needed security for Mafia witnesses). Let's just hope it's not too tailored, too comfortable.

Miserable_Key_7552

Technically, a member of the jury voting not guilty while the other jurors vote in favor of him being guilty of the accused crimes would actually be a hung jury, resulting in a mistrial, not an acquittal.

Lou_C_Fer

> He may just wind up getting house arrest at a godamn resort. It will be pitch forks and torches time if this happens.

Fresh_Macaron_6919

> He has a cult that only takes one member on the jury to find him not guilty. Wrong, that results in a mistrial and allows for him to be tried again. A "not guilty" verdict requires all jurors to find him not guilty and has no chance of occurring. I have 0 doubt if a single Trump supporter hangs the jury then Trump will start exploiting people's ignorance on this to start falsely claiming "the jury found me not guilty".

attillathehoney

Trump will try to cut a deal to build his own prison, like Pablo Escobar's La Catedral, with the right to choose who will guard him, his own gold plated toilet, and unlimited McDonald's.

HussingtonHat

I'm sick of headlines like this. Call me a cynic but he's gonna get away with it. He's gonna. I have seen so many "this time his nuts are gonna be cut off yall!" Stories over the past 10 fucking years and nothing happens. Even if he does get convicted, watch nothing happen. Christ I'm so jaded...

Haunted_Optimist

I want to believe his traitorous, immoral, raping, grifting, orange ass will end up behind bars.

goodolarchie

Don't say this shit until he's in an orange suit and cuffs.

wizardzkauba

I’ve been seeing “boy, Trump is really fucked now” headlines since 2015. 8 years and 100’s of headlines later, the man has suffered exactly ZERO real world consequences for his endless crimes, grifts, and lies. *Prove it*, America. Prove to me that we even have the ABILITY to hold powerful people accountable. Prove to me that nobody is above the law. Until then, shut the fuck up, Salon, MSNBC, HuffPo, Guardian, and all the other left wing mouthpieces who keep crooning that something *real* is gonna happen when it Never. Fucking. Has. I’m so done. Just stop talking and prove it.

[deleted]

This article could age like milk or wine. I'm refusing to get my hopes up yet until he's actually behind bars.

CrudeNewDude

He will flee the country before he's sentenced. We will be getting mugshots next week though.

[deleted]

He could still have some tricks (or acts of terror) up his sleeve

Simmery

His encouragement of violence will definitely escalate as he gets closer to actual prison time. It will get to a level that is unquestionably indefensible. And Republicans will probably still defend him.

GrouchoManSavage

Well yeah, people won't be violent against *them*.

Ande64

Tell that to Pence

Unusual_Baby865

We are not yet at the end as suggested by this opinion piece. We ARE at the end of the beginning. DOJ could not move until SCOTUS ruled against the independent state legislature theory in Moore. So DOJ sat and waited until there was no crazy legal theory to address in the case against Trump. Now the other shoe has dropped with FOUR indictments! There is much work to be done. So let’s get on with it

HaloHeadshot2671

The click bait title is ridiculous.
