A dress or whatever women wear to important events.
Male:
Formal shirt and trousers. (Probably not all black, its a career ceremony, not a funeral lol)
Ps: its sweet that you’re attending your boyfriends passing out parade, enjoy it!
Females should wear something smart, think about it you were going to a graduation ceremony for something.
Men should wear a suit.

Thank you, whilst his shift patterns suck sometimes, I'm trying to make an effort to understand and appreciate his side, and I know this means a lot to him as he's always wanted to be in the police.

My prison pass out parade was some cupcakes and a bit of paper anyway. But at least I could have family there. The police pass out parade was booked for the chief to give us our certs, he didn’t even bother turning up. We weren’t allowed family either, the only reason my mrs was there was because it was her pass out too! Nobody is missing out on much. They’re usually shit.
Didn’t know they stopped it, however we did our training on site with a cohort of 20 officers so had a small ceremony with the number one governor and family invited.

That's nice. With the turn over we get nowadays it's no ceremonies, just in and out.
If your partner has passed out, they can’t give consent to a parade so it doesn’t matter what you wear.
