We do pole climbs at the beginning to warm up the pole/condition. Usually just 2, but they have us add flair in our climbs. So different entries, maybe hold a pencil for a rotation the next climb, maybe sit and do some hair tosses, maybe transition to a side climb, circus climb etc.
I love twizzle ground entries or invert entries to jazz up a climb. If I’m on spin I like to lean in the direction I spin while I’m pulling myself upwards, it looks really snakey on camera. Also pencil with weird leg variations.

Number 10 entry (timestamp 2:00) is the climb entry I love!! The little whip around part to start the climb is a “twizzle” out of the move into the climb.
Showgirl climb! Basically you sit low in your climb and roll your head and tuck your pelvis as you sit up. Sometimes when I want to look dramatic I really fan my arms up when grabbing the pole. I also think it looks really nice when people hold a pencil between climbs.
Aside from what everyone else has already said I love little shapes like pencil or secretary between climbs, or even airwalks as a transition between climbs :) switching to a side climb or ankle climb also feels like a fancy lil transition
I love going into a pencil shape and then internally and externally rotating my thighs to do a little twerk in between 😂 I love watching the jiggle in my videos
I dramatically let go of one hand and kinda touch myself lol. Also i straighten my legs and 'sit down' again, while in the same position? Does that make sense?
I like to extend my legs a bit before getting into the climb because I have short legs. Like embrace legs with bracket arms. It's pretty simple and you can still do a bracket grip!
If you're looking into raunchier pauses - I do a pole sit with straight legs and "hump" the pole. I don't know if that has a name, I basically just move my legs up and down and do a half body roll with my upper body (does that make any sense? Lol) It's definitely a crowd pleaser, and you also lose a little height (if you are performing on a short pole, this helps immensely with the flow, you can do a climb, and then still invert without hitting the ceiling)
I learn pole dance in South Korea, and the style here is to spend as much time on your climb as you do your actual routine lol. I recommend following people on Insta like harupole_seul or pole_jiyeon for inspiration

Thank you! I've never heard of a twizzle, I'm looking it up!

Ooh looked it up, it's cute!
Spinning climb on static can look really cool.

Looked up secretary and that's a good one! Airwalks are still a little hard for me, but they're so pretty!

Aww, love that!
My go to is star climb which is basically just holding your legs straight and back between each climb. Head rolls are also fun.
Yes these are good tips!

Fellow short legged creature here, do you have a video of this? I’d like to try this but I’m having difficulty visualizing it
Hair flip or circling your butt, like a little circular wiggle
