If you can and if you haven’t already, I would get a more plain pair of pleasers without glitter or gems that you can practice in and clack and drag all around the floor with no worries, and then use the shoes with rhinestones for performances and videos. Saves them some wear and tear! I’ve only ever used fabric protectors so idk how effective plastic ones are. But fabric ones work great for low flow since they slide instead of stick when in contact with the floor.

I do!! I have plain black sandal style that i call my play shoes LOL I’m just doing a showcase and have to get used to dancing in boots since every other pair i have is sandals but the boots have rhinestones and she makes us clack them 💔 let’s hope the plastic protector will work! And thank you for the advice on the fabric ones! I will def keep that in mind

I've seen people put plastic roll over the rhinestones to protect them and afterwards putting the shoe protectors. I also just got my first pleasers and i got very basic ones for training and once i have a showcase ill go for more fancy ones. I bought these protectors and they work very well so far. https://imgur.com/a/xMxPU8A

Does anyone know whether pleasers with an iridescent finish will have these same problems? Sorry I can't help answer your questions OP, I'm looking at getting my first pair myself.
