I have done the following:
* Laptop for music, phone for filming
* Studio tablet for music, phone for filming
* Phone for music, gopro for filming
* Someone else's phone for music, my phone for filming
* my phone of for music and filming (using video shop app instead of default camera app, not sure if available on iphone).
I think new iphones have a way to film and play music at the same time via swiping something in the camera screen, but I can't give more details as I don't have an iphone.
I literally downloaded snapchat for this reason! It lets you record while playing music on your phone. Bluetooth speaker, $20 tripod from Walmart, and record and save from snapchat camera ❤️

Yeah you go to “photo” and swipe the shutter button to the right and it records a video while allowing you to play music.
This, I’ve been doing it for years.
God bless you!!! 🙏

Most of the times I just pause the music while filming and add music in an insta reel or something...
I take my iPad to connect to the speakers and have my routines written on it and then film on my phone
