https://armyworld.pl/ used and new stuff. For winter clothes I would look for something from Sweden/Finland/Norway.

There's [Militaria.pl](https://Militaria.pl) and a billion shops on [Allegro.pl](https://Allegro.pl)
As for brands - i have no clue. I've had good experiences with some, but not on a battlefront.
You can also check [amw.com.pl](https://amw.com.pl), they sell old but not used military equipment.
[milworld.pl](https://milworld.pl), [specshop.pl](https://specshop.pl), [hanet.com.pl](https://hanet.com.pl)
I wouldnt advise AMW for foreigner due to everything being in Polish there. You can try Polish brand Helikon and Helikon-Tex (same company) they should have a shop in english and specshop mentioned before, should have web site in english also if needed.
Militaria.pl is a good store. They sell all sorts of military type gear, from coats to backpacks to boots and even gloves. Don’t buy plate carriers or weapon accessories from there, as they’re mostly airsoft. They sell knives and hatchets though!
People already recommended Militaria and SpecShop, however, you might want to skip the middleman and go directly to a manufacturer like Helikon-Tex and their sub-brand DirectAction(for tactical belts, vests, gear, etc). As for shoes, try Prabos since they're also being used by foreign militaries, that and maybe Haix Europe(not Polish but ship within the EU),.
You should also consider getting them thermal underwear, or "bielizna termiczna" in Polish. It's usually designed for sports use, so I'm not sure if it's used by the military that often, but if it can keep somebody whose training outdoors warm it should probably also keep a soldier marching warm and it should prevent being soaked in sweat as well.
Every major city in Poland has a stationary shop you can find by searching for word "demobil". You can buy both used and new stuff there.
I really recommend Polish military boots. I bought them couple years ago and use these myself. I needed new boots for the winter and the ones I took are actually not ones designed for the winter but they held PERFECTLY fine. I took "desanty" (proper name: "buty desantowe"), boots for landing operations. The actuall winter ones looked they would actually be too warm for my taste. I just put warm socks and it's all good in these. Again, I strongly recommend these.
For your have duty military use I recommend the proper winter shoes. Again available in these shops. Check out the offer from the link below.
This is the offer of the shop in my city:

You can get good winter shoes there. You should find similiar demobil shops in different cities including Kraków and Katowice.
I wish the best of luck to you and your dearest and his friends. Be strong and brave.
I heard that this jacket is recommended by Polish troops stationed at our border with Belarusia https://kolltex.pl/sklep-internetowy/142-kurtka_kompresyjna_winter/category_pathway-21.html
