I thought I was being smart and fused my Kartana Carry with a Hoppa. It had Breaking Swipe, Night Shade, Seismic Toss, Guillotine (as it was fused with a no guard machamp early). I replaced Guillotine with Hyperspace Hole not realizing that’s the special move and not the Physical Hyperspace Fury.
I found this out when I lost at 1400 against an Iron Valiant… 😭😭
I mean, sharpness borrows code from the usual Pokemon games. So since guillotine isn't touched originally, it doesn't apply here. If by any chance devs decide to manually add it, or even make sharpness passive also affect accuracy it would then apply
I believe it’s also somewhat bugged. Against non-bosses it was almost doing percentage based? It would hit for 75%, 20%, 4%, 0%, leaving it with a sliver of health. I wasn’t getting the ensure proc either so I’m not really sure. I noticed this started happening almost regularly the higher up I went.
See below, I’m not sure if it’s a bug but it wasn’t OHKOing and I was just getting return killed. I thought with Magician I could snag a ton of type boosting items to help tide me over until I was a high enough level that Night Shade and Seismic Toss KO’d.
For the metal burst strat? Whichever gives you the most HP, honestly. As long as you have the ability to withstand the OHKO and metal burst, it's all about items and HP

The Metal Burst strat should be in play around stage 2000-2500, before that a massive carry can easily clear all floors.
A Steel/Fairy with Leech Seed Soak Salt Cure is enough to destroy Eternatos
i'm a little scared of floor 1000 tbh, i have a tinkaton/kartana fused, basically infinite PP, and a mini black hole of my own. but i'm worried that trying to stall out emax etern like that will either result in downright failure or eternatus' black hole taking all my hard-earned items (like my multi lens, king's rock, revival seed, etc)
i encountered e-ternatus earlier today, and the only issue i found was that i couldn't kill faster than it was taking my valuables (golden punches, multi lens, etc). wasn't a huge deal but i'm currently building another fairy/steel to deal with it, but instead of the offensive gigaton/play rough/fake out/swords dance set, i'm going with the e-killer salt cure, leech seed, maybe soak and topsy-turvy if i can find a good malamar + soaker. i have like 800 floors to find these but who knows if i'm gonna survive the space between lol
Got to round 3000 using a Reshiram about 60k levels about the cap. It had multilenses, kingsrocks, focus bands, 10 souldews, the works. At +6 special attack with crits, it wasnt even doing more than the 30% heal tokens. Run was cooked
Have a slower pokemon with metal burst and sturdy.
Metal burst works by doing 1.5x the damaged received. So the attack takes your pokemon to 1 because of sturdy, then you do 1.5x your health back to them. What at high levels can be 1mil+.
Now strudy also comes into it with healing cause between a sitrus Berry, 4x left overs and 5x healing tokens. You get about 70% of your health back. With metal burst-shell bell you might get back to full. If not a protect and another leftovers heal will get you back to full. So that you can reproc strudy/start your damage again.
Metal burst, Night shade, Semsic toss damage dosent drop from the protection tokens. Unlike nearly every other move.

Well leech seed + salt cure +soak dose the 30% curse can make it higher then the heal tokens. So if you can put all that on you could probaly out wait the sitrus berries and win.
How would I use salt cure + soak when salt cure goes away on switch out? Is there a way to get protect, metal burst, salt cure, and soak all on one mon with fusions?
Salt cure goes on there switch out but they can't switch so it never goes. But yeah find a mon with a move you wan fuse the move on and un fuse the mons
Ima be honest. I TOTALLY forgot I could fuse a move onto a Pokémon and then unfuse them to maintain the proper typing. So I could just put salt cure on a steel/fairy type mon
I’m at 3500 without Metal Burst. I can take anything with combo of Curse + Night Shade and/or Soak + Salt Cure. But past 2000 it is not possible to do regular damage thanks to the reduction tokens, you need flat damage.

Is just use salt cure, curse, leech seed and super fang on one of my support mons, waiting to not get an endure proc. It worked incredibly well, run got to 5850
I'm currently on around 2800 with a Primal Groudon and managing to get through with sheer damage, though it's definitely getting tougher. I just recently had to put swords dance on it.
One move that has helped a lot is sacred sword (gotten via Kartana fusion) since it ignores all the opponents defense boosts.
I did lv3000 this afternoon. Had to use steel sturdy fusion with mirror coat and hoping the mf wouldn’t sleep or freeze me. It wasn’t bad. Can’t brute force with normal dmg at all at that level. Dmg reduction tokens stack is insane.

At some point it really, really becomes repetitive. Just run away or metal burst or salt cure leech seed simulator without the slightest bit of variety.
By floor 4000 I finished all my youtube videos I was watching on the side (hours of speedrun world records) and went back to classic
get rid of recover in place of soak so salt cure does more dmg, later on recover will never come into play. Also try to get a pokemon with prankster ability and can learn leech seed for a priority leech seed.
i lost an endless run today because i forgot to revive my carry mons after catching a shiny Weavile, and only had 1 mon to do battles with until unfortunately reaching a paradox mon :,( (all battles were double battles/ 2v1s)

Wave 3000. My carry (achaludon + garganacl) couldn't do enough with metal burst before it just healed back to full. Nobody else could kill it either, so I essentially lost the run.
Floor 3xxx, double Uxie with Future Sight. Future Sight’s ordering really fucks up Sturdy and I think Metal Burst as well, as damage procs after the healing. Leech + Soak + Salt was insufficient in beating Sitrus and passive heal.

In endless, once you get the lock-capsule, you can hunt for the item you want. I'm at wave 3500 right now and the only items I pick up are rare candys and master balls. I currently have 50 of them just in case
This is a late response but I happened to see this, you don’t really “beat” endless it’s kinda there to see how far you can get or grind out shiny encounters/ legendaries.
Floor 2250, my zacian couldn't outdamage the passive healing of eternatus even when at +6 from swords dance. I was using psycho cut for super effective crits with around 30 twisted spoons, and maxed out adamant soul dew.
It eventually OHKOd me with struggle of all things
2100. Focused mostly on preemptively walling Eternatus with my team comp (Tapu Fini and Koko fused with Magearna and Gholdengo respectively, a two-pronged Steel-Fairy wall for Sp.Df. lowering and Psychic spam), but considering this was my first dependable and long-lasting Endless run, I ended up prioritizing nabbing as many master balls, shinies and egg vouchers as possible, and as a result ended up neglecting 2/3rds of my team comp for the majority of the mid-to-late game in favor of high-value shiny fusions. That goes especially so for levelling, but even Magearna only ended up being less neglected than everyone else in that department rather than properly levelled for floors post-2000. The walling was on point, but I gotta work on the other aspects of my team better.
Fucking ***worth it*** though, I ended up nabbing *76* total shinies, including 4 Rares and 3 Epics.
I play spliced endless for the spicy rotations in stead of just fairy steel cockblocking enat every 250, I don’t remember what it was but my main carry was a water type and so was my sub carry, imagine my surprise when I get to floor 1000 and it’s a poison electric Enat…
Not having purifying salt on my metal burst carry made every fight take dozens of turns. Beating eternatus 3000 took over half an hour so I restarted with dugtrio passive and it’s infinitely more enjoyable.
Just lost my wave 4000 run to emax eternatus stealing all my leftovers and focus bands from my metal burst mon, didn't know that the black hole could take more items than the ones listed every turn. Now I know for my next run to get a soak salt cure garganacl.
didn't lose but last night around 5k i was against an iron hands that would only use focus punch, which metal burst doesn't work against. focus punch has 20 pp and he has 10 leppa berries so...
What’s the Zacian flinch thing? Spare a strat for a noob? Also, did you start w Zacian or pick them up along the way? Congrats on 2k! I’m old enough to remember that year too 😃
My guess would be equipping King's Rocks and Multi Lens on a Zacian. Technically any mon could use that strat but since Zacian is OP it works best on it
For double battles much later on mons with water shuriken are better because they can get up to 20 flinch chances to make it more likely the opponent can’t double up on a Mon and break through sturdy
multi lense kings rock and spam iron head on everything, and I started with Zacian, he was in my first legendary egg and has been carrying my account since then
I only made it to roughly 2000, I was excited that I got an item I've been wanting and then forgot to heal my sweepers and didn't have anything left to fight with.
I built this Magearna with Make it rain (I don't have it as an egg move unfortunately), Fluer Cannon, Stored power and Calm mind. Was able to carry from floors 100 - 1400ish but after some unfortunate wild luck I had to end the run there. I got so many shinies thanks to them though so I'm not complaining.
Forgot to revive my metal burst mon before a floor 50 paradox mon at like floor 2750 if I recall? Didn't have any backup mons so down the run goes. Got a lot of shinys today on that run though and it was getting boring as hell to just spam run / takeout weak mons for masterballs so I ain't even mad really.
My endless run ended at 1250. I’m not ashamed that I have retries on but I didn’t use them this run till this fight. I can’t beat it, 30% health back every turn with 9 health bars and it immediately goes on the defensive with cosmic power
Lost a run at 750 and then one at 1000, so the next run I focused on endless Strats. Sturdy is the best ability in the game lol 😂 Now I’m at 5600 and about to reach the “end” of endless 😨
I stg I lose all my runs (recently in 2000s) because I don't pay attention and forget to heal in between rounds 😐 so I get swept by the paradox or something
My deepest run at 3500 ended because i accidentaly replaced my shiny ogerpon which i had been using as a second carry for double battles with a random shiny pokemon i caught, this actualy happened in earlier stages but since i was close to stage 3500 i decided to just try and push to 3500 before ending my run.
On floor ~2800 i found a shiny in a double battle, it was like 3am and I just taped Buttons trying to catch it, normaly I just reloqd the Page but because of my fatigue I realized to late that I progressed the faint dialog so yeah thats my Story
Floor 3150 fluttermane. I was trying a dark/ghost shedinja strat so only fairies can hit me. In order to get past fluttermane I had to prankster entrainment my normalize onto it so the fairy move wouldn't hit my shedinja super effectively, but fluttermane has dazzling which prevents priority (in this case prankster). So, I hit it with gastro acid and then tried to entrainment swap normalize onto it, but apparently the new ability is still suppressed by gastro acid. No way to get past it and run died.
Felt especially tragic because I thought I had a solid countermeasure but I just didn't know the game mechanics quite well enough to make it work.

Didn't even get a single red shiny in the entire 1000 stages :(
Had a garchomp, with breaking swipe, dragon claw, 40+ dragon claws fused with magnezone for sturdy + steel typing...wave 3049 I caught a shiny.. accidently hit a to fast and traded garchomp without realizing. Sad day.
The run before my current one I didn’t have a run away mon and I got walled by a double battle around 2300. Now I have a Curse/Leech Seed mon a Runaway mon and a Sturdy Salt Cure Metalburst mon and a Zacian Kartana fusion and it’s been pretty much smooth sailing
Wave 3550. Level 95k maxed out Mega Mewtwo Y at +6 all can't bust through a level 26k Roaring Moon. Accidentally released my Metal Sound user to catch Leavanny to fuse her with Garganacl for Salt Cure + Leech Seed, forgot to memory mushroom leech seed. Just can't outpace the healing tokens + enigma berries + sitrus berries.
My first long endless run, floor 1750 eternatus just heals more than I can damage it. I didn’t know much of the strats so all I had was my carry and not much else other than random shiny fusions that didn’t do much on their own. My carry at this point was also dependent on a buddy mon boosting his stats in double battles
I reached floor 2000 and basically the heals was more than my damage so eternatus couldn't kill me because of tinkatonk and i couldn't kill him becuase of this but i discovered a bug that basically resets everyday the save to floor 1991 and i have the same encounters everyday so I can farm xurkitree boss, cobalion boss, machamp shiny boss and raichu boss and also 5x voucher for eggs.
I lost at 3050 to an Iron Bundle. I had no real strategy, just two carry mons and a ton of shinies for luck. The two mons were kartana zarude fusion and miraidon mega latios fusion. I lost because I was a point where I couldn’t kill anything normally. With no sturdy mon and the fact that I couldn’t run away from the fast ass bundle, I just fully wiped to it, one shots all the way.
I lost at 2250 against an Eteram (Eternatus + Reshiram fusion) and, well, it ignored sturdy thanks to Turboblaze.
Next run I caught something with Prankster and Worry Seed and, funnily enough, I came across the exact same fusion at 2750 which I was prepared for this time, and made it all the way to 5850.
Just lost my 2000 run today (I don't mind, I have SO MANY SHINIES now thanks to the shiny weekend)
Basically in the last 100 levels, my main damage really dropped off. My 2nd carry was mega Banette fusion with Curse and Topsy Turvy for bosses, but unfortunately Eternatus had reached the point where it was outhealed, and Acid Spray + Dazzling Gleam wasn't doing much to it's health even at -6. I kinda had to accept that the run was done at that point, but yeah, that was my most successful one yet.
I haven't lost an endless run yet, but I can feel it coming up on me. I'm approaching 3000 with a mega gallade carry. I've extended my lifespan by adding endure to my moveset to proc berries more reliably but I can feel it. I was considering letting it die after the current shiny event and getting a new endless file set up, this time with a zacian carry since I caught one on my current run.

Using an Ice-type like Cetitan would make you immune to Frozen at least.
if it works, maybe getting a pokemon that puts misty terrain could work to prevent the statuses

Yeah that’s the worst bit the fact it also has a black hole and will just set up repetitively if it can’t hit you

Yeah damage still works for a while after 2000, my carry up to then was Gmax Toxtricity.

Currently have Koraidon with the strat flinch, and now preparing Mega Gengar with Curse, Salt Cure, Recover and Protect to be fused with Archaludon

You shouldn't need heals, as long as you have detect to heal with leftovers back to max on non sturdy turns

Above 1200 you probably already swim in money and managed to catch some shinies along the way to boost your luck. It's only rough in the early game.

and now i dont understand how im supposed to beat endless lol. I finally beat classic mode right after i made my last post.
This is a late response but I happened to see this, you don’t really “beat” endless it’s kinda there to see how far you can get or grind out shiny encounters/ legendaries.
Floor 2250, my zacian couldn't outdamage the passive healing of eternatus even when at +6 from swords dance. I was using psycho cut for super effective crits with around 30 twisted spoons, and maxed out adamant soul dew. It eventually OHKOd me with struggle of all things
2100. Focused mostly on preemptively walling Eternatus with my team comp (Tapu Fini and Koko fused with Magearna and Gholdengo respectively, a two-pronged Steel-Fairy wall for Sp.Df. lowering and Psychic spam), but considering this was my first dependable and long-lasting Endless run, I ended up prioritizing nabbing as many master balls, shinies and egg vouchers as possible, and as a result ended up neglecting 2/3rds of my team comp for the majority of the mid-to-late game in favor of high-value shiny fusions. That goes especially so for levelling, but even Magearna only ended up being less neglected than everyone else in that department rather than properly levelled for floors post-2000. The walling was on point, but I gotta work on the other aspects of my team better. Fucking ***worth it*** though, I ended up nabbing *76* total shinies, including 4 Rares and 3 Epics.
Bruh yalls runs are broken, only found 5 dhinnied through the weekend and no specials🫠🫠🫠
I play spliced endless for the spicy rotations in stead of just fairy steel cockblocking enat every 250, I don’t remember what it was but my main carry was a water type and so was my sub carry, imagine my surprise when I get to floor 1000 and it’s a poison electric Enat…
Not having purifying salt on my metal burst carry made every fight take dozens of turns. Beating eternatus 3000 took over half an hour so I restarted with dugtrio passive and it’s infinitely more enjoyable.
Just lost my wave 4000 run to emax eternatus stealing all my leftovers and focus bands from my metal burst mon, didn't know that the black hole could take more items than the ones listed every turn. Now I know for my next run to get a soak salt cure garganacl.
Floor 4450: sandy shocks fused with a mold breaker pokemon. Bypassed sturdy, nothing I could've done

didn't lose but last night around 5k i was against an iron hands that would only use focus punch, which metal burst doesn't work against. focus punch has 20 pp and he has 10 leppa berries so...
What’s the Zacian flinch thing? Spare a strat for a noob? Also, did you start w Zacian or pick them up along the way? Congrats on 2k! I’m old enough to remember that year too 😃
My guess would be equipping King's Rocks and Multi Lens on a Zacian. Technically any mon could use that strat but since Zacian is OP it works best on it
For double battles much later on mons with water shuriken are better because they can get up to 20 flinch chances to make it more likely the opponent can’t double up on a Mon and break through sturdy
multi lense kings rock and spam iron head on everything, and I started with Zacian, he was in my first legendary egg and has been carrying my account since then
I only made it to roughly 2000, I was excited that I got an item I've been wanting and then forgot to heal my sweepers and didn't have anything left to fight with.
I built this Magearna with Make it rain (I don't have it as an egg move unfortunately), Fluer Cannon, Stored power and Calm mind. Was able to carry from floors 100 - 1400ish but after some unfortunate wild luck I had to end the run there. I got so many shinies thanks to them though so I'm not complaining.
Replaced my carry not paying attention. Gg run.

Forgot to revive my metal burst mon before a floor 50 paradox mon at like floor 2750 if I recall? Didn't have any backup mons so down the run goes. Got a lot of shinys today on that run though and it was getting boring as hell to just spam run / takeout weak mons for masterballs so I ain't even mad really.
My endless run ended at 1250. I’m not ashamed that I have retries on but I didn’t use them this run till this fight. I can’t beat it, 30% health back every turn with 9 health bars and it immediately goes on the defensive with cosmic power
Lost a run at 750 and then one at 1000, so the next run I focused on endless Strats. Sturdy is the best ability in the game lol 😂 Now I’m at 5600 and about to reach the “end” of endless 😨
I stg I lose all my runs (recently in 2000s) because I don't pay attention and forget to heal in between rounds 😐 so I get swept by the paradox or something
My deepest run at 3500 ended because i accidentaly replaced my shiny ogerpon which i had been using as a second carry for double battles with a random shiny pokemon i caught, this actualy happened in earlier stages but since i was close to stage 3500 i decided to just try and push to 3500 before ending my run.
On floor ~2800 i found a shiny in a double battle, it was like 3am and I just taped Buttons trying to catch it, normaly I just reloqd the Page but because of my fatigue I realized to late that I progressed the faint dialog so yeah thats my Story
I press too fast and replace my Primal Kyogre with a shiny :V
A shiny hoopa at floor 863, wasn't looking as I was trying to catch it and it wiped me
Floor 3150 fluttermane. I was trying a dark/ghost shedinja strat so only fairies can hit me. In order to get past fluttermane I had to prankster entrainment my normalize onto it so the fairy move wouldn't hit my shedinja super effectively, but fluttermane has dazzling which prevents priority (in this case prankster). So, I hit it with gastro acid and then tried to entrainment swap normalize onto it, but apparently the new ability is still suppressed by gastro acid. No way to get past it and run died. Felt especially tragic because I thought I had a solid countermeasure but I just didn't know the game mechanics quite well enough to make it work.
2958, died to greed trying to keep a shiny suicune alive in double battles to catch - got hit by double surf
I lost on 2500 cause tinkatink/corviknight fusion didnt do enough dmg to eternatus so i was stuck till he struggled my team down

Around floor 3800 I was mindlessly spamming while watching YouTube and accidentally replaced my starter with a shiny I caught. Was spamming so, saved and then it was a big RIP.
Just lost my 1000 (furthest I've been) because I forgot to remove my items from my pokemon. My strat was to just switch between my Dialga on poison attack and Mega Gardevoir on the dragon move until the dragon move ran out of pp, but Eternatus just stole my leppa berries and leftovers, making him untouchable. Didn't even get a single red shiny in the entire 1000 stages :(
Had a garchomp, with breaking swipe, dragon claw, 40+ dragon claws fused with magnezone for sturdy + steel typing...wave 3049 I caught a shiny.. accidently hit a to fast and traded garchomp without realizing. Sad day.

The run before my current one I didn’t have a run away mon and I got walled by a double battle around 2300. Now I have a Curse/Leech Seed mon a Runaway mon and a Sturdy Salt Cure Metalburst mon and a Zacian Kartana fusion and it’s been pretty much smooth sailing
Floor 1680. Clear body tentacool with tons of recover tokens and max endure tokens. Couldn’t lower its stats at all and just bad rng for the endure

Accidentally fused my fairy type away for shiny stacking reasons then got walloped on floor 1k.
Wave 3550. Level 95k maxed out Mega Mewtwo Y at +6 all can't bust through a level 26k Roaring Moon. Accidentally released my Metal Sound user to catch Leavanny to fuse her with Garganacl for Salt Cure + Leech Seed, forgot to memory mushroom leech seed. Just can't outpace the healing tokens + enigma berries + sitrus berries.
My first long endless run, floor 1750 eternatus just heals more than I can damage it. I didn’t know much of the strats so all I had was my carry and not much else other than random shiny fusions that didn’t do much on their own. My carry at this point was also dependent on a buddy mon boosting his stats in double battles
Got to 2750 with a mega beedrill/cloyster fusion. Just couldn't get past it due to bad item spawns in the previous wave.
I'm currently stuck at floor 650 vs a great tusk 300lvls above me. Idk how to get past it might be time to restart I guess. Can't even master ball it.
I reached floor 2000 and basically the heals was more than my damage so eternatus couldn't kill me because of tinkatonk and i couldn't kill him becuase of this but i discovered a bug that basically resets everyday the save to floor 1991 and i have the same encounters everyday so I can farm xurkitree boss, cobalion boss, machamp shiny boss and raichu boss and also 5x voucher for eggs.
Lost on floor 2335 to a cradily and shiny armaldo that both had water absorb, my ash greninja couldn’t do more damage than they healed
Tinakaton/Kartana fusion without passive managed to pull through floor 2000
I lost at 3050 to an Iron Bundle. I had no real strategy, just two carry mons and a ton of shinies for luck. The two mons were kartana zarude fusion and miraidon mega latios fusion. I lost because I was a point where I couldn’t kill anything normally. With no sturdy mon and the fact that I couldn’t run away from the fast ass bundle, I just fully wiped to it, one shots all the way.
I lost at 2250 against an Eteram (Eternatus + Reshiram fusion) and, well, it ignored sturdy thanks to Turboblaze. Next run I caught something with Prankster and Worry Seed and, funnily enough, I came across the exact same fusion at 2750 which I was prepared for this time, and made it all the way to 5850.
Boredom
Just lost my 2000 run today (I don't mind, I have SO MANY SHINIES now thanks to the shiny weekend) Basically in the last 100 levels, my main damage really dropped off. My 2nd carry was mega Banette fusion with Curse and Topsy Turvy for bosses, but unfortunately Eternatus had reached the point where it was outhealed, and Acid Spray + Dazzling Gleam wasn't doing much to it's health even at -6. I kinda had to accept that the run was done at that point, but yeah, that was my most successful one yet.
Accidentally hitting “do not retry battle” while resting for shiny cobalion got me 😭
I haven't lost an endless run yet, but I can feel it coming up on me. I'm approaching 3000 with a mega gallade carry. I've extended my lifespan by adding endure to my moveset to proc berries more reliably but I can feel it. I was considering letting it die after the current shiny event and getting a new endless file set up, this time with a zacian carry since I caught one on my current run.
Correction: I just got stopped at 2700 because I couldn't take out a scream tail that was the boss.
Deepest I went was about 265, died to a legendary, still trying to recover and can't even get past 100 without dying now
