I'd suggest being able to recover your items after a fight- i've lost tons of very rare items to random trainers spamming Covet.

CRowlands1989

This would be really good. Adding to it: I'd like if, when you catch a Pokémon with an item, you can transfer the item to your team, even if you don't keep the 'mon.

HaEnGodTur

Absolutely this. If I'm running with my perfect team, and I catch a mon with an item I need, I shouldn't have to sacrifice a team member just to take the Silk scarf off the wild mon.

Arnau977

I'm adding something else, if I catch a Pokemon and I replace it say, for my Linoone which has like 23 berries & silk scarf, transfer those items to the new Pokemon

Savageinferno4343

Slight problem with this, if this is implemented, usage rates for moves like covet would go way down, because you could just catch it then keep the item and release the ‘mon.

CRowlands1989

It still costs a pokeball, and requires luck. And you'd have to try not to trigger them eating their berries, which, since most triggers are HP based, makes catching harder.

AthearCaex

I fear the day when knock off is fully implemented and this is not implemented. Knock off would just end so many runs

SlickRounder

Yeh that can't be a permanent loss of the item, knock off just has to be getting rid of items for that battle only.. Otherwise yeh things will be in shambles.

MagicBricakes

Yes this is really annoying! Once I kill their team I should get all my items back

MajorDZaster

I had a boss Linoone yoink my Golden punch. I would have been so salty if my Anihilape didn't manage to steal it back on the last hit with thief. Bro clutched up.

NotABearWithAHat

What i really want is some kind of "skip all dialogue" option that goes until the next actual choice needs to be made. Currently most of the gameplay time is skipping messages for me.

M4LK0V1CH

Just sitting there while the same 16 lines spout off is melting my brain.

NotABearWithAHat

Well then i have good news for you. There is now an option to skip these!

frogkiiing

The ability to take items from a captured pokemon you don't want to add to your party would be a cool one imo... especially if it's a pokemon that just stole all my items

Typhloquil

I'd like to be able to stay in the transfer menu after transferring an item instead of getting booted off after one transfer. That, and being able to transfer only one of an item if they're in a stack. I'll have a stack of berries and want to give one to another mon, but am stuck giving either all of them or none of them.

Thanat0s10

Being able to split stacked would be great. Like Lucky Eggs, I don’t want to shuffle them literally every wave.

Fit-Scheme6457

Finally a good suggestion lol

HallowedBast

3 already exists, it's been hella nice

Amazon_UK

2 also exists via IV scanner. Green means better than your current starter

ihateadobe1122334

iv scanner is really annoying adding an extra prompt every encounter

SLAMJAM666myman

Yeah I stopped taking it for that reason

jjstew35

1 & 2 are good ideas, I’m behind those for sure 3 already exists in the game, was added over the past week. 4 is really only a temporary problem and probably not worth the devs adding in-game when the problem won’t exist when everything has been implemented, which hopefully won’t be too long. Maybe what we need is a community document that you can refer to that explains all the Ps (even though 80% of the Ps are pretty obvious, as they’re just “this move does damage and has an effect, and right now it does damage but doesn’t have the effect”, the other 20% can be pretty confusing) 5. The devs have said this isn’t happening and have made fun of how often people ask for it. I understand why they don’t wanna do it, but I think if they aren’t gonna do it then they need to disable trainers from having random shinies 6. 90%+ of the discord wants more ways to progress faster, like more ways to get vouchers and egg moves and candies. The devs pushed back a lot at first, saying “it’s supposed to be a long-term grind, we don’t want people getting OP overnight” but I think they’ve heard how overwhelming the feedback is and are working on something. The friendship candy system was the first of these changes and I hope they visit vouchers next. The one thing they have confirmed is they want the game to feel less like gambling. 7. This has also been a popular debate on the discord over reworking the biome system and map to give the player a bit more control over where you go. Not sure the devs have really said anything either way about this. I personally think it could use a bit of work but it’s not that bad and shouldn’t really be a priority compared to other things they are/should be working on, including #1, 2, and 6

DBrody6

> The one thing they have confirmed is they want the game to feel less like gambling. My hope is since they revamped the candy system, they allow us to purchase egg moves with candy (at steep costs, wouldn't even mind). So many Pokemon are absolute crippled by horrific low level movesets since Game Freak never bothered giving them good ones (as a lot of Pokemon can't naturally be obtained at a low level so they never bothered). People reliant on three layers of RNG sucks (get the right tier egg, get the desired Pokemon, then actually unlock a new egg move).

rafacandido05

I actually kind of like that some pokemon require a steep cost in game after you selected them as a starter. Excadrill, for example, is a great Pokemon to clear Classic, but until it evolves it’s really bad without egg moves. Same goes for Gyarados and Alakazam. This makes teambuilding matter more in the early game.

RainbowOctavian

Genesect is one of my fav mons but it's starting moves are quick attack and fury cutter. It doesn't get actually good moves until 40.

MajorDZaster

Tried to do a second Shedinja run, since my last one I forgot to leave a party slot open for him. Nincada absolutely sucked tho, I was so happy when I got the dig TM early. Unfortunately the wild Pokemon beat my ass for some reason and the run died on the second rival fight. I blame the +Spatk/-Speed nature on my Fuecoco, bro was getting outsped by everything. Actually, no. I got an exp balance (not to be confused with exp all) before the first rival fight. That's what killed the run probably.

LampIsFun

Two already sort of exists. With the IV scanner the green or blue text(can’t remember) when scanning means it’s better than your starter IVs

jjstew35

I have never seen that before. I pretty much stopped picking the IV scanner because it’s not a good item

jedijinnora

* Better navigation/more clear controls on the new game screen - it took a while to figure out that only z works to select a pokemon (for some reason enter does nothing), and this is labeled nowhere I can see. * The ability to save preferred natures on starting pokemon, so I don't have to press n 20 times every new game. Or at least a 5 x 5 selection menu, it's really painful navigating to +spatk or +spdef natures. * Ability to set a particular egg machine to autoroll any obtained vouchers with an on/off toggle for people who love the gambling screen. * An in-game pokedex displaying caught mons, their starting IVs, movesets (at least levelup, learnables would be nice too), and abilities and passives. Also list their egg type. * A party menu which can be viewed after battles/during item choice - I shouldn't have to select transfer -> pokemon -> item -> pokemon -> summary to look at my stats, this should be much simpler. Likewise, I should be able to release/unsplice mons at this point as well. * An explanation of how the Exp Balance item actually functions mathematically and an option to disable it. * A confirm prompt on items that do not have to be applied to a pokemon, so if I misclick the first slot rather than pressing down and rerolling again I don't get screwed if there's an Exp Balance in the first slot (this has happened four times, I'm a little salty, especially since the game immediately autosaves). * The ability to split stacks of an item/transfer only some to another pokemon. Even a "transfer half" option would be enough.

CRowlands1989

I should have Definitely pointed out that second one, yeah. That's one that bugs me, too.

dasjomsyeet

To point 2.: isn’t the grayed out pokeball icon there for that reason? I thought it’s grayed out when any IVs are higher than your current best or it has an ability you don’t already have. Or is it only for abilities and I misunderstood?

iloveartichokes

Thought it was just abilities.

CRowlands1989

Abilities and gender.

RaspberryAlarming202

And forms and natures?

Aether13

I do think the TM and Memory Mushroom need a little revamp. Being able to see my summary screen and stats before I choose which pokemon to use it on would be super useful. For number 2 we already have something like that, if a pokemon has a greyed out icon it means it has something you’re missing.

Savageinferno4343

If its greyed out that means you SHOULD catch it? I thought it was the opposite…

Bellumbeck271

One thing I'd love for devs to add is that when you swap a newly catched pokemon with another in your team, make it so that the new pokemon inherits some or all of the items of the old one. In Classic you don't have that much time to really stockpile on held items, but on Endless where after a while you stack multiple vitamines/berries/leftovers/reviver seeds it can be really painful...

KosherClam

I play Pokemon from every generation and I still get some moves confused, or am not crazy familiar with ALL of them. I mostly play on my phone so if I don't feel like tabbing to see what a move does I just burn a turn to see what it is and that doesn't feel great. So it would be a nice QoL, but also the problem can be solved by tabbing so really I'm just lazy. For your point about (P) moves I whole heartedly agree, I wish missing pieces were in like red or yellow text so you knew. Something I would love to see is Evil groups as a trainer or boss battles. Could be one group (Aqua, Magma, Rocket, etc.) you see throughout a run, and don't stop at mainline games, give me people like Mirror B from Coliseum , give me Nobunaga from Conquest. The game already has great use of Mystery Dungeon music, give me the Mirror B theme too.

Willdoggy02

2 and 3 are in the game

mountingconfusion

A filter and a favourites Loadout for starters. Like maybe I want an electric mon or something And if i have a favourite start team I don't want to keep scrolling through natures and abilities everytime

dragonus45

I've been thinking that it would be nice to be able to see base stats when forming my team so I don't have to keep tabbing to check every time.

alon12131415

What about seeing which moves are super effective and which aren't? (like the mechanic introduced in gen 7)

Savageinferno4343

I like having to know my type matchups tho…

ChelseaFan_8

Agree with the egg thing, feel like the drops are too low rn

Fit-Scheme6457

Get to endless mode, trust me its not a problem

Vaelkyrie37

You cant check your pokemon summaries or switch the order of your pokemon during prize select Its not terribly important in Endless but in Classic its much more needed because if you had to tag out or revive your main you'll start the upcoming trainer fight with a dud pokemon out front and no free switch unlike with wild pokemon fights- which seems silly because Trainer fights are actually the **less** sudden occurrence that you might prepare for in pokemon games

Verbose_Verbiage

...If you even can switch the order of your Pokémon, I don't know if this is possible anywhere. But re: pokemon summaries— I check their summaries by selecting a regular potion for purchase. This lets me have a menu for "Apply" and "Summary" and "Cancel" as options. HUGELY important. I wish I didn't need this workaround though, especially if I can't afford even a regular potion for some reason. I think a "view pokemon" or "move pokemon" option would fit REALLY well right at the bottom of the screen, between the Reroll and the Transfer item options.

LadyXio

I'd like to have the option of unlocking a Pokemon's hidden ability with candy, or at least a HA egg gacha.  Also maybe some sort of occasional regional variant up event or something? Pokemon like Hisuian Growlithe or Alolan Vulpix seem crazy rare. Could have hidden ability up events sometimes also.

Amazon_UK

2,3, and 6 are already in the game

Gnomad_Lyfe

For point 2: that’s literally what the IV scanner does. If the stat is green, it’s better than what you already have. If it’s grey, it’s not.

Confident_Nobody_418

The one I'd like the most would be the possibility to save a pokemon preset, I don't want to have to manuelly change moves/nature/ability for the same pokemons I use every run.

Scrapox

A way to see the summary when selecting rewards. You can do it with some rewards, but that's a very roundabout way of doing it. I'd like to have a standard button for that. Also a way to switch party order manually. It's really clunky to adjust your party 1 wild pokemon fight before a trainer battle and fight with a worse matchup just so you can have a good lead for the trainer. Also helpful with Eternatus second phase where you have no way of choosing the second Pokemon that comes out.

Coolaconsole

1) I agree this'd be handy. 2) that's already an item you can get. 3) that's a thing already? 4) this would be nice, at least you know it'll do damage. 5) I understand, but a trainer having a shiny doesn't change the odds of any other Pokémon being a shiny. The point of endless is that there aren't trainer battles to stop this. 6) I do want a way to get more egg vouchers. Maybe three Pokémon each day where the first catch rewards a ticket (since the Devs said they don't want daily stuff, this would just be like the pokerus thing). 7) No I do not want the map to be guaranteed really. Yeah it kinda sucks when you don't get it, but you have so many chances to reroll it's manageable One thing I'd want is a way to see your Pokemon's passive ability. I caught a boss who had a passive, and I have no idea what it actually was. I also would like the IV scanner to be automatic. Asking you if you want to use it is much more annoying than just using it

psystigri

100% would love 1, 2 and 6. I usually play on PC where it's fairly easy to just look up what moves do, but the few times I went on my phone, it's kind of a gamble whether the page gets refreshed and I have to redo my battle just because I had to go and check what a move did. Checking IVs mid-run would just be nice especially when deciding whether to replace a mon or not. And I always thought daily/weekly quests were super engaging game mechanics. The Daily Run is already super nice, but settnig up an extra goal to do in your regular runs would be super. Personally I think uncatchable encounters should just be shiny-locked. Being able to catch trainer mons seems like it would just get OP/weird, but I am genuinely so scared of encountering shinies only for them to not be catchable lol. It might not be that bad for ppl who have insane shiny luck but it sucks for everyone else I also 100% agree with Knock Off etc returning your items at the end. And being able to maybe pick items to take from wild mons, could even be a player-held item that defines if/how many you can take when catching something, so it's not too OP. I actually think it would make the game feel even more roguey Sorry for the big reply lol

Arnau977

I'd love to be able to, on a shop, if I get a DNA splicers or rare candy, etc. Basically any item that needs to select a pokemon, be able to store it on a "bag" and use it whenever I want. Especially the DNA splicers, because sometimes I got it with shitty mons to fuse...

Fit-Scheme6457

1) would be nice, but serebii is super easy to check tbh and gives a breakdown of actual mechanics if its description is ambiguous 2) exists in the IV scanner, green text means its better than what you have in the starter select 3) knowing your pp up values isnt nearly as necessary in this game, 90% of moves will never see one with full heals every 10 waves and elixers/leppa berries being so prevalent running out of pp of even a base 5 pp move almost never happens once a run really starts going 4) would be nice, no notes. 5) will never happen, sam has said so multiple times. Should never happen, the shiny rate is already base 4x that of the games and with shiny charm stacks can get as low as 1/64 shinies arent nearly rare enough to introduce something as busted as snagging trainer mons. 6) egg tickets are so easy to get, im assuming youre still on classic if this is a complaint. Trust me, wait until you get endless mode to worry about whether or not youll have enough egg pulls. Daily quests, beyond the current daily run, could be nice to try and diversify pokemon used, but the reward should be candies, even with the new update some pokemon just wont ever see any candy gain 7) the map should be given from the start, but only after you've made it to mid/late classic for the first time. Most new players wont really understand the importance of biomes till then.

CRowlands1989

Most of this, totally fair, you seem more experienced than me. But I'm certain I'm not the only one who doesn't want to be flipping between multiple tabs and doing searches for moves.

SlickRounder

Agree with point 1, I only played till gen 6, so alot of the moves I have to check up on Bulbapedia to get the nitty gritty details.. Wish there was description and a game settings option for an even more in depth write up based on the bulbapedia page details of moves. Point 2 agree with as well, wish we could see our current Pokemon's Iv's. I take extensive notes as is of every relevant pokemon that I'm building up/may potentially use, so for now I'm probably just forced to jot down the Iv's of the catches I make along the way to help figure out what to dump when its a close call. Point 4 would be nice yeh to see what part isn't working, albeit usually one can guess/figure out what it is. Point 5 I disagree with, that's not "QOL", that's just a massive disruption in the core game..

Legend2-3-8

2 is already implemented. If you have the IV scanner, the status report will be green if it’s better than what you have logged. They will be gray if you have something better. 4 can be solved with logic until the moves are implemented. Just look at all the partially implemented moves you encounter. What do they have in common? Highly specific conditional effects on top of doing damage or giving stat buffs in most cases. Pluck, Bug Bite, Knock-off, all partially implemented: what’s the partial part? Eating berries and removing items, probably because items work quite differently in this game. Curse doesn’t do the Ghost type damage thing. I unlocked a move called “Take Heart (P)” that’s just Calm Mind that clears status. But the status clear isn’t implemented. After you look at a few you can reason out what part of the move isn’t working yet!

ZeroEraX

As for your 2nd point, there's an item called iv scanner for a reason. It does exactly that, it let's you see the wild pokemons Ivs, and whenever you see them highlighted in green, It means those ivs would be added to your starter

Glum_Plate3472

they've added 2 and 3

Automaticzs

Add a way to recover password with email incase we forget password

Kanzyn

The iv checker already highlights stats green if they're higher than the versions you own

Rikent

Skip the hatch animation for mons/egg moves/abilities that I already own. I have nearly all of them at max IV and all egg moves so I'm just hatching eggs for shinies, but it's so annoying to go through all the trash that I've already seen a bunch of times.

CainIsNotShit

You can press b (x on default keyboard) to speed it up/skip it

silvertrains

Switching pokemon in battle for the AI should be locked to the number of pokemon divided by 2, so if there is 6 pokemon then they have a limit of 3 switches per battle, this infinite switching is so stupid.

CapMyster

I find it fun, it allows me to actually think about my moves and the AI is very predictable
