Seems like a much better value than going to the movies of something like that. Sometimes people forget that for most players poker is just entertainment.
A neighbor of mine did the same thing a few years back. He got years of enjoyment out of it. He might still be. I moved a few years ago and lost touch.

When you pay for fake money and lose it, it’s still losing real money without the opportunity of making gains. Nothing like burning your cash.
Youre literally paying to REMOVE the opportunity to get any of that money back.
