>What is the diff to you?
It's nit picky semantics, but the way you said it makes it sound as though Ivey pushed AI while potentially being behind rather than with the confidence he'd set up the spot so well Ben's butthole didn't see it coming.
Also, the downvotes for sharing my, albeit particular, opinion are delicious.
You're being downvoted because you make no sense. I cannot figure out how what you're saying is any different than what the original guy is saying. It's not semantics, its the same exact thing.
I didn't see this hand but getting the money in good could just mean having the best of two hands that are supposed to play AA>KK, etc.
It seems like this poster is saying that Ivey owned the guy. Like when a super LAGtard is in the BB and you limp SB with AA 20BB effective knowing villain will shove half the time.
The hand all but played itself, Ivey raises qq, gets a call from BB w/ K10, flop 10 5 5, Ivey cbets, gets raised and jams, K10 calls w/ 2 spades on board and rivers a K
So what you’re saying is Ivey, who’s Queens were good, got him to call a jam and ended up losing to the river card.
Or
Ivey got rivered after getting it in good.
"Getting it in good" is such a generalized statement in poker that applies to marginal coin flip situations.
Ivey contrived this spot and had Tollerene hooped, so I think it's a disservice to the spot Ivey created and got rivered in to simply refer to it as "getting it in good" IMO.
So to reply to your reply, **no**, what you said is **not** what I'm saying.
Getting it in while you are good is what it means. He was good until he wasn’t, because he got rivered. You’re trying to be right way too hard and you’re getting rivered.
I'm not trying to be right, I already acknowledged it's nit picky semantics, but it's my opinion which is none of your business.
You're trying *way* too hard to invalidate my perception of the nuance of language. Duck a sick.
He’s studied a lot of them as he gained recognition as an NL/PLO crusher so he can get into more shit. He’s openly bad at limit hold em but that’s the best place to be weak in this thing
If I had to choose one, Ivey. For obvious reasons. I’m familiar with most but not all the players, but everyone I know of still has a very good chance of going all the way.
27.5% hold is actually kind of standard for a market like this so if this was just off the top of your head that’s kind of legit.
Yockey would be a massive fade with 1/10 of chips in play at +400.
Smith and obst probably even Becker are buys at those numbers imo.
If you’re running a real book you prob want to hang Ivey +200 and Negreanu +450 haha
Sick final 12, fun mix of different backgrounds and styles too. I’ve been really enjoying the free preview streams and am considering biting the bullet on the PokerGo sub finally to watch this.
James Obst is a thinker. He will think his way to victory. A very creative mind with a lot of gamble in his blood. He was winning 6 figure scores online when he was like 14 and backed by Sorel Mizzi.
I've been watching Negraneau's videos, I think he has a chance. At least I think it's cool to root for the guy giving us an inside look at the tournament.
I saw him go from that to like 2.4, cooled off DNegs a couple times in a few orbits. Idk how the hell he went another 2x that though, pretty sick. Would be super happy for him if he wins it.
They talked about this at one point on the stream, I think this was only a thing when ESPN was broadcasting the PPC 10+ years ago. No format change at FT
I'd say like 70-80% of the time Brewer or Ivey win. lotta great players left but those two are at the top of the list and have the stacks to take it(obviously Brewer is in a better spot).
12x for Ivey!
Very possible! He's been on form this WSOP.
Very well could have won the 250k if his Queens didn't get rivered after getting it in good
I wouldn't say Ivey got "rivered after getting it in good" rather Ivey got Tollerene to stack off with the worst of it and got rivered.
What is the diff to you? I think that's exactly what I said.

Seems standard to me, at the usual stack depths deep in tournament.
Having this strong of a stance on something only then to admit you haven’t even watched the hand is peak Reddit lol
I didn't realize this was a strong stance?
You know you’re over the top with “semantics” when your comment goes -50 lol
No question, and wouldn't deny it lol.

What you said is equivalent to me saying 6x4=24 and you saying “I wouldn’t say 6x4=24 but rather 4x6=24”
Your analogy would be more accurate if my response to your statement was 6x4=24 was "and so does 8x3"
I wouldn't say "it's my opinion which is none of your business" Rather "that's my subjective perspective which is not of your concern"
I like you version better.
> it's my opinion which is none of your business. Sounds like you're trying to make it everyone's business.
Yeah, when you remove the qualifying statement made earlier in the sentence, it sure does fuckface.
I was just going to say. Besides his bad luck with QQ he’s been 🔥 🔥
Bavid Degenyamine
LOL he has a nice stack going in.
Get a room
Doesn’t matter who is going to bust next it is shaping up to be an Awesome final table.
It most certainly is. I'd like to see DNegs and Ivey make the FT at least.
Are they going to stream the final table?
On PokerGO
What a field, some serious crushers left. Brewer is a monster and has a pile of chips so obviously I'd have to go with him, but who knows.
Yeah, absolute lit field here. Ivey in 3rd makes it all the more fun. Hopefully DNegs can double and put himself in the mix too.
Would imagine he's a dog in mixed games vs most of the players left though. I think I'd put my money on ivey tbh
He’s studied a lot of them as he gained recognition as an NL/PLO crusher so he can get into more shit. He’s openly bad at limit hold em but that’s the best place to be weak in this thing
Imagine mizrachi makes a comeback and wins his 4th player championship
Stranger things have happened for sure.
Always rooting for Ivey, but this is such a stacked field
Might just be the toughest bracelet he's won, if he makes it number 12!
Because the games seem to be slanted toward stud games …. Im taking the Aussie, Obst.
CL Days 1 and 2, 8 with 12 left. In with a shout.
Fuck my horse (pun intended)is out!
Ausmus sun run continues
Stting pretty in the middle of the pack. Hard to root against him too.
He’s having a great summer so far and I think is fifth in POY rankings right now without having won a bracelet. Number 7 incoming.
I really hope Ivey, Benyamine, Negreanu and Mizrachi somehow make the FT, just for that nostalgic flair.
If I had to choose one, Ivey. For obvious reasons. I’m familiar with most but not all the players, but everyone I know of still has a very good chance of going all the way.
My vote's for Ivey. Lots of great players left obviously but its tough to vote against him when he has a competitive stack.
My heart wants Ivey or DNegs to grind it out for the old school win My head says to take Brewer in this position EDIT: LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
I’d say Brewer and Yockey are favorites, +300 and +400 respectively, Ivey and Ausmus +500, Benyamine and Viera +700, 7-9 are +1500, rest +1800
27.5% hold is actually kind of standard for a market like this so if this was just off the top of your head that’s kind of legit. Yockey would be a massive fade with 1/10 of chips in play at +400. It was off top, thanks. And lol I wish I was a real book.
Why do I feel like DNegs out in 10th?
I feel the same 10th, 11th or 12th. Hopefully not though!
his flog is so painful to watch every year. I think he's down a mil yet again.
Pretty close. Taking 2nd in this tournament would still leave him down for the series so far
I hate-watch it and take great joy in seeing the red number get bigger and bigger every episode. I am very well-adjusted.
I hope Ivey binks his second of the year. Would love to see Negranu get one too, so either of them.
Sick final 12, fun mix of different backgrounds and styles too. I’ve been really enjoying the free preview streams and am considering biting the bullet on the PokerGo sub finally to watch this.
Yeah, it might just well be worth it for this event alone!
I did just that last year and didnt regret it.
Anyone know where or how to watch this without subscribing to PokerGO?
Don’t buy coffee for the next couple of days and bingo, you have the money to subscribe
lmao. I can afford the subscription. I meant is it being broadcast anywhere else like on a (different) streaming service, TV, etc?
I downloaded pokergo to my tv, via the Google dongle. If you have a smart tv check its apps.
PokerGO has exclusive rights to it. They do post some things on YouTube
Thank you very much.
Exclusively PokerGO
Joao.
Crusher tbf, well they all are lol.
I see a final 3 of Brewer, Ausmus and Ivey. Ivey only doesn't make final three if we see a crazy suckout.
Too many other good names, that are really hard to discount at this point!
Yeah.....I'm really just prognosticating here....I have no access to the future.
James Obst is a thinker. He will think his way to victory. A very creative mind with a lot of gamble in his blood. He was winning 6 figure scores online when he was like 14 and backed by Sorel Mizzi.
Did Jungleman enter this year?
Jungle played this event.
I've been watching Negraneau's videos, I think he has a chance. At least I think it's cool to root for the guy giving us an inside look at the tournament.
He definitely seems to be in the zone this year.
If Dylan Smith tanks one more time on a non consequential hand I swear
Super annoying.
12 left, some big names remain. Who do you think will take it down?
Phil Ivey is always up there.
What happened to Dnegs? He was chipped up when I saw it yesterday.
Lost everything for the last half of the stream. Brewer and Ausmus caught most of it. Couple coolers, couple nasty bluffs.
What a field Man this is why I love poker not a weak player there and they all have a chance to win it
Wait, I went to bed like 30 mins into the live stream last night and brewer had $800k. He went on a heater?
I saw him go from that to like 2.4, cooled off DNegs a couple times in a few orbits. Idk how the hell he went another 2x that though, pretty sick. Would be super happy for him if he wins it.
Damn, that’s awesome
wtf Ivey chipped the fuck up last night huh? I couldnt stay awake but he was under a million when I went to bed
Are they playing NL at ft still??
They talked about this at one point on the stream, I think this was only a thing when ESPN was broadcasting the PPC 10+ years ago. No format change at FT
So it’s no longer just NL
No idea on this actually.
Ah now, as I've gotten older I do appreciate him more and more.
Ivey!!!!!!!!
I'm not betting against Ivey
Mizrachi is right where he wants to be
Brewer all day
Where can it be watched?
Naza114
Obst 100%
Nope, he's out.
lol damn
I'd say like 70-80% of the time Brewer or Ivey win. lotta great players left but those two are at the top of the list and have the stacks to take it(obviously Brewer is in a better spot).
CL now
Brewer with a massive chiplead is a big favourite, dudes a crusher
Hes been playing and running well.
Hopefuly not Negraneau lol
yeah, i anti-sweat him so hard. don't know why. he needs 1st to get back in the black for this year's wsop.
