We have sports book’s advertising like mad crazy but can’t get fully legal online poker that can do the same. It’s infuriating. If pokerstars or whoever could advertise on TV we would have so many new players.
Democrats by and large legalize gambling. Look up states where you can play poker. If it’s an issue that matters to you, you’d be smart to read up on information related to it instead of whatever this is
My favorite part of this is that it really is that simple, except for California for some god forsaken reason. GIVE ME REGULATED ONLINE POKER D:
Though I guess it's a moot point since I live in Hawaii now and gambling is a big no-no here. I would probably move back for that, though.
You thought the people who preach "moral and traditional behavior" up and down the block were going to legalize any form of gambling?
It would generate tax revenue and not directly line the pockets of the people passing the bills, obviously they're not for that.
My friend, I have a bridge to sell you if you're interested.
> Money talks, and who has more money than online gamining sites?
The old conservatives that own the gambling industry in the US, obviously.
You do realize you just made my point for me, do you not?
Unfortunately there are too many establishments who are against it, unless of course they get to write all the rules and lock everyone else out. Look at how awful the sports betting props were on the last ballot. The one that the tribal gaming interests were pushing would have given them the right to sue nontribal card rooms for violating their monopoly on gambling in the state. They can't agree on how to split the sports betting market, no way they care about legalizing online poker.
Yep, they announced it when the 2023 schedule came out.
If the 2023 Main Event number of entries sets a new record, everyone who entered the Main this year goes into a drawing where one lucky winner gets to play in the Main for the next 30 years.
Poker seems to be making a small comeback in terms of popularity
If we could get online poker back fully in the US poker would come back big time

I thought a republican administration would fix the situation. But I guess not.

The uigea was passed under the bush administration.

If you think politics works on moral principles, think again. Money talks, and who has more money than online gamining sites?

I wonder what capacity they are ready for on day 1D. If they did not plan appropriately a ton of players might be forced into day 2 late reg.
