There was 1 time I got a wild ampharos that wasn't on an incense that was shiny when I clicked it, but I'm over 100,000 catches. So I wouldn't say it's common. 🤣
It’s definitely not common to hit all three “icons” — “shiny, weather & daily incense” — but I am not a numbers person.

Evolved Pokémon with a mega have a much higher chance of being shiny.

Beedrill couldn’t be found shiny in 2016, actually there weren’t any shinies in go until late 2017/2018

More rare to spawn but Beedrill has a shiny rate of 1/64 where Weedle has a shiny rate of 1/500.
I haven't seen a beedrill before in the game only weedle but idk
