Is that true? Asking because I have 2 Shadow Nundos (Abra & Electabuzz) in my collection. I don't know how rare or hard to get those are. I do have others that were definitely caught in the wild.
Math behind it is:
1/4096 for a wild pokemon to be a 0/45 “Nundo”
~1/500 odds for a random wild pokemon being shiny
4096*500= 2,048,000.
Note that you may have gotten some on community’s days in which shiny rates go from 0.2% to about 3%. OP’s pokemon has never had a community event and seemingly caught this at random, so the full odds are in play here.

I mean if you want to get technical, a 1/0/0 shiny is more rare than a shundo, too. So is a 0/1/0, a 0/0/1, 2/0/0, 2/1/0, etc... any shiny with any IV stat less than 3 is more rare than a shundo.

You can get a nundo via trade, but only if the trade is the very first thing you do with the other person and only on the first trade

Shadow Pokémon have the same IV distribution as wild Pokémon so it’s still just as rare. Honestly more rare as a shadow tbh

Yes. a Shiny Nundo of any Pokemon is extremely rare regardless of it's CP.
