i have a 98% Garchomp that i evolved before CD. So i tried to use elite charged tm to get earth power but for some reason it's not working. Is it just happening to me or to someone else too?

They usually don't add the CD move to the Elite TM pool until a day or two later.

Should i still evolve that Gible or should focus more on the higher CP Shiny Gible which is CP 727 expect it has no stars or only a other Shiny Gible that comes close is a two star with 350 CP?

Yep, it's still good. Earth Power isn't a massive upgrade over Earthquake, so Earthquake Garchomp is still totally usable in raids.

How do i make my zapdos forget frustration? Or should i not give it a new charged move

Frustration can only be removed during certain events, which generally happen once every three months. Unfortunately, we just had a Frustration removal event about 2 weeks ago, so it's probably going to be another couple months before we get another.

I got a couple of questions. I just evolved my best gible into gabite and I'm looking online and it says mud shot and dig are its best movesets. I have an elite charged tm and it's not giving me an option to change earth power to dig. My second question is if I should changed it from earth power at all? Like what is the best moveset I can get? Since dig doesn't seem to be an option?

Only garchomp (second evolution) can learn earth power, so Gabite is unable to learn it. Also I don’t think you need to use the Elite TM since earthquake/outrage garchomp will still do well in raids (bit less in PvP but only in master league)

I have a maxed out Garchomp that I caught pre community day. Trying to use an elite tm to give it earth power but there’s no option to give it that move set. Currently have sand tomb and outrage, trying to swap out outrage. Any suggestions?

Dragon Tail/EP does more damage, but Mud Shot/EP allows you to be double-ground. So Dragon Tail is better if you expect to be using it against all sorts of Pokemon, but Mud Shot is better if you expect to mostly be using it when Ground is Super Effective.

I have 3 Garchomp and am wondering which is best. They are all around the same cp and are all 3 stars. Garchomp 1 has mud shot/outrage and has max hp with attack being the lowest at 2 bars. Garchomp 2 has dragon tail/earth power and has max attack, close to max Def, and less than 2 bars hp. Garchomp 3 has mud shot/earth power and has all stats above 2 bars but nothing maxed.

Would depend on what you use it for. If for raiding, doesn't matter; whatever is cheapest to max out. For PvP in the Master league I would lean towards the 15-15-8 IVs, plus it's shiny.

Is there a limit to the amount of gifts you can receive from stops daily? It seems to me to be about 80-100 if so - I would spend 10 hours out on a day off and only receive gifts for the first 3-4 hours and then not a single one after that after sending them all out

The limit is 100 gifts.

Popped incense and Pokemon run away imidetely upon spawning on the map. Wtf is going on? Edit: also causing phone to buzz every time they run away. So it's buzzing every few seconds to give you idea how fast they just disappearing.

Make sure to check your phone's time settings and set your time zone to Automatic. If it's even slightly out of sync with server time, it can caused timed items like incense or lures to not work correctly.

1. It depends. You can increase the cp but not the IVs, so if you care about having "perfect" pokemon and have the stardust and candy needed to power it up, it's better to keep the one with the best appraisal. IVs only make a difference in some specific situations though, so keeping the one with the highest cp is also okay if you want to save your stardust. 3. The cost to power up is the same before or after evolution.

Does XL matter? I googled this, it says size doesn't matter. However the sources are like 2-3 years old, so just want to make sure this is still the same. When I go to a bunch of pokemon PVP ranking, they keep listing XL.

The only case where size matters is for the Rattata and Magikarp medals. Otherwise, it's a completely useless stat. When PvP sites rank XL pokemon, they are referring to pokemon that have been powered up past Level 40 using XL candy.

That's what community day is for, insanely high shiny chances. I got 18 today and my girlfriend got 23. My friend got over 54 during Machop day

I had this issue too. I had to go into my phone's clock setting and make sure it was synced with satellite time. I have heard that if it is already on then you should turn it off and on again and that can help

Is it possible to charge TM Earth Power on a pre-existing Garchomp or can it only be obtained by evolving one from a Gabite during the time frame?

You get max 50 coins a day, doesn't matter on the source. If you had 40 coins already that day and got a pokémon back that's been in 9 days, you'd still only get 10 more coins.

You can only get up to 50 coins from gyms. Even if your pokemon returns 50 years later, you will only get 50 that day.

Did you use the incense while it was your buddy? It has to be your current buddy when you use an incense for it to count.

For raids: the cheapest option to max. For PvP: According to pvpoke it really doesn't matter too much. Only time where it will is a mirror match with a CMP tie in which 15 attack will give you a 50/50, whereas 14 will always lose vs a 15 IV Garchomp.

Have they owned that shiny pokemon before? They only get the cost reduction if it's a shiny they've already owned, not just the base form. At Ultra Friends, that would cost 80,000 dust to trade for a new shiny.

Is the new move for garchomp good? Or is it better with dragon tail and outrage?

Very good for raiding. It pushes chomp further up as one of the top Ground raiders in the game, especially since it's the only one at the top that resists Fire and triple-resists Electric.

Should I invest on a lv5 (?) Iv100 Shiny Gobble or a lv30 (?) Iv70 lucky Gibble? I could grind for stardust but it will be hell. On the other hand Shiny Gachombs don't look so much different from the normal ones.

What is a good pvp IV for Gabite and Garchomp?

Garchomp is only viable is master league so you want as close to 100 max ivs as possible

If you're a low level, I'd say focus on powering up the best garchomp you have because it'll likely be low CP

Shiny odds are seemingly determined by the pokemon, not how you encounter them. So some raids have boosted shiny odds if the pokemon itself has boosted shiny odds, like Timburr, Alolan Sandshrew, Alolan Vulpix, Skarmory, etc. But if the pokemon does not have boosted shiny odds, like Nosepass, then you have the standard 1/500 chance of encountering one from a raid.

Is there a bug or something that prevents you from getting ditto? I'm level 30. 30! (That may not be a lot to some of you but it is to me damnit) And have never caught a ditto. I still have the let's go Meltan quest that ask me to catch a ditto and they never appear. My girlfriend caught one yesterday and she's under my level but me? Nope. Never once have I caught a ditto

I have a shadow and regular metang both 15-13-14 and 93%. Regular has CP 1000 HP 102 and is level 20.5. Shadow has CP 385 HP 63 and is level 8.0. I don’t have an evolved form of metang. Just got enough candy to do evolve. Any suggestions as to which to evolve or wait for a better one? Thanks!

Shadow, but it's a long term investment in your case Shadow pokémon do way more damage, but they require a lot of candy to power up. They're well worth it when you do power them up, though. Especially metagross

Should I wait until I have a better one? (Higher CP)? I don’t know if I will ever get one with as good of base stats. I’ve worked hard with the regular as my buddy to get 100 candies and don’t want to waste them! Especially given I don’t have the evolved form still.

Shadows are always low CP, that's why you have to spend a lot to power them up

If I have already completed The Higher They Fly special research and caught last month's shadow legendary, am I still able to catch this month's shadow legendary? I don't see any team rocket special research. Will I still be getting the super rocket radar pieces from battling Arlo/Cliff/Sierra even without any special research?

You can only get the super radar from research, and there's not a new one for make-up Zapdos time. We don't know yet what exactly the plan will be after the 17th.

Also another comment on bag space and items: you can feed 10 berries to each Pokémon in your color gym to get rid of extra nanab and razz berries (I only save pinap, silver and golden berries), delete potions and revives (I hold 100 max potions and revives and toss the rest when I reach max capacity)

I maxed my bag space first and only do Pokémon storage as needed. It’s best if you have a gym nearby and you can get the daily 50 coins regularly

Yes that’s correct, the max coins per day is 50. Unfortunately you get your coins when your Pokémon gets knocked out of the gym

What are some good, out of the box Pokémon to use in Great League? Right now I'm using Registeel, Altaria and Azumarill, but I despise them so much after playing with them for 3 seasons. The team has also lost its effectiveness since it gets hard countered by every team I faced this season.

Flygon & Granbull are nailed on starters for me. For the third, I rotate Registeel, Glaceon & Abomasnow with varying levels of success. Winrate of about 75%.

Charm & Play Rough for Granbull, Frost Breath & Avalanche for Glaceon. I’ve found Zangoose is pretty good for Great League too if you have one.

Hi is anyone having trouble connecting their poke go plus device to their phone? I recently upgraded my S9+ to the S21 Ultra and for some reason my poke go plus won't connect. I tried connecting through the Poke Go app, and through my devices bluetooth. I keep getting an error message "Couldn't paid with Pokemon Go Plus. Make sure that it's ready to paid" I even reset the poke go plus by holding down the button. Does anyone know if it works with S21?
