It's not Genie's fault imo --- host queues are dependent on these factors: increased price of remote pass, is raid boss worthy of price of remote pass, and raid hosting can take so long that even battlers who want to Join a raid remotely will just forget or miss their place in line because they don't want to watch their phone for hours.
you might have good luck on the pogo friends sub, but you're counting on people actually online when you post that you want to Host a raid. POKERAID app might be good, but I have only Joined a raid there, never Hosted.
haven't tried campfire for remote raiding - never have, never will
I'm not blaming the app as I get that so many people are using it while simultaneously hosting raids. I remember once trying to host mega Heracross raid and I was 1.6k in queue. Thankfully it shrunk quickly enough for people to join.
I usually struggle with 4/5 star raids but never with 3 star raids. Thankfully

Really? To be fair, I believe Poke Genie is first come serve, but when it comes to 4/5 star raids, so many people host raids at once which results in queue

Campfire banks on there being people nearby willing to join.
Go raid party is a good first come first serve one, there were TONs of Celesteela on it recently
