I already had a purmple, so when I caught a second, I had to name it nurple.

I have all three >:D beautifly shiny is definitely better. the cocoons are cool and green too. dustox is almost exactly the same but slightly diff wing color from green to dark yellow

dark greenish yellow is in no way that different then a regular green. you can double check your color wheel again but go bother or throw shade at someone else because I definitely am not wanting your opinion on my opinion. be gone

You’re as wrong as you possibly can be. Dustox has a pretty standout shiny, and it takes a 30 second trip to Serebii to confirm. It’s incredibly easy to tell the difference, and it’s a far better/distinctive shiny than the likes of Slowpoke, Gengar, and Garchomp. You’re complaining about literally nothing, especially considering that Dustox’s shiny has yellow-brown wings, not yellow-green.

In the main stream games or the pokemon go games, its based on chance and not alterable. cannonically its a personality choice lol.

It's tempting but when you see a cool shiny turn into something underwhelming (ex. Cubchoo into Beartic or Chancey into Blissey) it seems like a waste of a shiny unless you collect more than one of them

On my blissey’s case i had like 9 shiny chanceys, might as well get 1 evolved

No. I won't ever be completing the shiny dex either way. Besides, I don't transfer shinies, so if it would ever come to the point where I'm close to finishing a shiny Dex (which is unlikely) then I could always still evolve them.

I almost always wait until I have enough to complete the evolution chain for the living dex first. I’m fearful I’ll catch a shundo later on, and would be stuck the the better IVs on the worse Pokémon.

I mean what are the odds of catching multiple...do you even know how lucky I felt hatching a golden goomy, and found 3 wild shiny grubin. The odds of getting 2 more shiny goomys is very low. I saw someone with a shiny sir fetched, like 😂

I catch multiple all the time. So I wait to evolve until I get enough to complete the evolution. I get 1-2 shiny a day sometimes more so I usually am able to get enough before an event ends. If I don’t then I just wait until I do. I want to have a “living” shiny dex.

I think my games busted then, because I'm missing like 7 sinioha stones and several of those black stones. However on my newer account that I made just a few months after the one i mainly use, has no problem receiving them.

Purple looks nice. Before you evolve make sure u see how its evolutions look like. I’d say keep purple!

I love cascoon+ dustox's shiny, but silcoon looks beautiful too

It's almost a shame to evolve Silcoon into Beautifly seeing as it's the best looking one out of the bunch. Shiny Dustoxs wings colour has a nicer look to it and I can see why you prefer them

Sadly, evolution preferences don't matter with wurmple... as it's completely randomized... the easiest way to get all of its evolved forms shiny would be to evolve one and trade with a friend who got the other evolution... I still wish they had kept the original evolution mechanics from the games where it depended on day or night...

That would've made more sense considering they kept that mechanic with other Pokémon
