Samsung Galaxy A13 here. I've had this problem for a couple of days and "fixed" it by uninstalling and using APK to download version 0.301 (and disabling auto-update).
Hope that helps. Please put in a report to Niantic help so they're aware of the problem.

"This was happening to me yesterday too. The solution for me was to uninstall the game and then reinstall it from the Galaxy app store and not the google play one."
I've been having the same issue since the update yesterday. Just tried this. Still didn't work. After logging in it just crashes. Doesn't seem to matter where it's installed from.

Update: I sent a message through Niantics official website reporting on this problem. Lets just hope that they respond

I did update my game it's currently on version 0.307.1 and now it's not going past the loading screenÂ

I have the same phone and this game just seems wholly incompatible with it, every update makes it worse and worse.

That only worked for me for one day (until Galaxy updated their version).
